Vinyl scooted over to the next chair. "Nothing. I'm. Happy. Say it with me. En-dor-phins." Vinyl continued to spin until Pony Joe came back with her donuts. "Ooh yay! Want some?"

Pony Joe turns to Nightfall. "What can I getcha, pal?"

 

((I was going with the "happy as a school filly" thing, but I think I'll tone it down))

Pony Joe turns to Nightfall. "What can I getcha, pal?"

"Yeah, I'll go with a coffee. Vinyl and I will share the donuts."

He turned back to Vinyl. She was spinning in her chair still.

"Something isn't right... Or maybe I'm dreaming, and this... Ugh, sorry if I seem rude, Vinyl. I feel tired... And somehow, that is making me feel not quite myself."

"Yeah, I'll go with a coffee. Vinyl and I will share the donuts."

"Ok, Nightfall. I'll tone it down a bit." Vinyl stopped spinning in her seat and split her donuts with Nightfall. She started eating some sprinkle donuts

 

"Ok. Here's your coffee."

"Yeah, I'll go with a coffee. Vinyl and I will share the donuts."

"I'll be right back with that."

 

"Ok, Nightfall. I'll tone it down a bit." Vinyl stopped spinning in her seat and split her donuts with Nightfall. She started eating some sprinkle donuts

 

"Ok. Here's your coffee."

 

"Thank you..."

Nightfall took the coffee and sipped it. It almost burned his tongue, he set it down on the table and decided to let it cool a bit. He then took a donut and bit into it. It was the best donut he had ever had. There was the right amount of icing layered on top.

Wildcard walked out of his house for the first time in the last days. He was watching television, reading books and tried to recover from the recent crash.

Hmm I'll just walk into town and get myself something to eat. Maybe I'll meet some of my friends there.

His wings still ached so he decided to walk instead.

Jaide walked out of her hotel room and locked it. Just one more week until I move out of this place. I have to start looking for another hotel to live in.

 

She walked out of the hotel lobby and stepped out into familiar Canterlot streets. She breathed in some air and continued to walk around. I should get something to eat. I only had a cookie and a glass of juice in the morning before catching up on my daily reading.

 

Jaide walked into a place where they served breakfast and lunch at the same time. She sat on one of the cushioned seats and ordered a plate of hay bacon strips.

Wildcard walked through the streets when he saw Jaide eating in a nearby restaurant.

Jaide looked up from eating and looked at Wildcard. "Oh hello there. I'm doing fine here. Just eating these hay bacon strips since I was sort of hungry. Didn't eat a lot during breakfast and stuff," she replied as she continued to eat her hay bacon strips.

"I was also hungry and looking for something to eat and then I saw you sitting in here" Wildcard replied and ordered himself some Pizza and a glass of applejuice. "Has anything happened since I left you guys?" the pegasus asked while he looked at Jaide.

Jaide raised her fork up to her mouth and bit down on the strip that was in front of her. "Nothing really. I sort of left after Blossom Bloom made sure everyone was okay. Nightfall had taken Vinyl away and Wits was knocked out still. But I think they're doing okay now," Jaide replied while remembering that she wasn't suppose to talk with her mouth full.

"Well that's nice to hear" Wildcard answered smiling. Then his meal was brought to the table and he started to eat."What are you going to do today?" he asked Jaide. "Do you want to go to the city afterwards? We could look for some gala stuff and things like that"

Jaide continued to eat and eat, "Well I'm not sure where we could go. Yeah, we could go look for some stuff for the gala after we're done eating. But we should go somewhere else in the city when we're done if we still have some time left in our hooves,"

 

Jaide finished her hay bacon strips and set the plate near the edge of the table for the waiter to pick up and carry away.

Blossom Bloom trotted into Canterlot Square after a long morning of gardening at her home in Ponyville. She dusted the dirt off of her hoofs and wings before taking a shower and once she was done, she decided to go into Canterlot for breakfast and maybe hang out with friends. Now that she was here, she had no idea what to do. She wondered if she looked like an idiot standing in the middle of the square not doing anything. Blossom shrugged and continued to look around.

"What do you have in mind?" Wildcard asked as he finished his pizza. "If you want to go somewhere else we could go there, the gala stuff isn't really urgent and it was more of an idea of mine"

He sipped the last bit of his juice and then waited for somepony to carry it away.

 

Jaide thought for a moment. "Hmm.. Well I don't have a particular place in mind. I did have to look for another hotel because I'm moving out of my current one in about a week. Has to be a less expensive one though. But we don't have to look for anything right now. I can do that in my own time unless, of course, you help me or something,"

"If you don't mind sleeping on a couch, you can live in my appartement if you want. I can't think of any cheap hotels in Canterlot, that have a good quality and aren't overprized. But we can go a bit outside the town center and have a look". he answered as he paid his meal

"Your apartment? Well I uh. But.. Yeah," Jaide akwardly stopped as she darted her eyes back and forth. "Yeah, I would l love to stay there. I haven't really seen any cheap hotels here in my stay so yeah,"

 

Jaide noticed that the waiter was waiting for her to pay her meal. "Sorry for the wait up, sir," she said as she handed him the money to pay for the meal.

Wits woke up and looked around, groggy after being asleep for so long. His brain felt funny, and he was exhausted despite sleeping so long.

 

"W-where am I?" he asked tentatively.

Wits dragged himself out to the square, half-dead. He sort of stumbled along until he came to Blossom Bloom.

 

"Blossom!" he said, happy but tired. "How are you doing today?" He wobbled, and nealry fell over, but caught himself just before he ddi. He gave a tired smile.

Blossom heard someone call out to her and turned towards the voice. "Oh!" she gasped and backed away one step when she spotted Wits. She noticed that he looked burned out and very tired. "Maybe even dead..." she thought as she walked over to him and put a wing over his shoulder, helping him balance himself. "I-I'm fine..but you don't look so hot. I think you need to get to bed. I'll help you get home if you want." she said with a worried look on her face.
