Vinyl woke up later that day (a coma is classified as 6 hours of unconsciousness, she was out for eight). The nurse said softly, "Ah, you're back." A guard was sent out to let Nightfall and the princesses know. "Wha... What happened?"

"It seems you've been using some strong magic, like that healing spell."

"How do you know about that?"

"You were talking about it while you were out. You just need to work yourself up to that. We've already sent a guard to notify Nightfall and the princesses that you're up."

Nightfall was almost back to the castle when a guard came up behind him.

"Excuse me, sir. Are you Nightfall?"

"Um... yes..."

"Ah. The nurse sent me to tell you Vinyl Blade is awake now."

Just after the guard finished, Nightfall had dashed off to the hospital. He stopped in the door, wondering what he was doing. But he enetered and tried to get into Vinyl's room.

Jaide stopped all of a sudden when she recieved the letter. "Huh? What's this," she sid as she picked it up. She read it, not knowing what it was for or from who it was from.

Wildcard skimmed through the letter.

"Oh ponyfeathers that sucks!" he said angrily "I wonder what that unfortunate events are?" and after a few moments he added "Well I don't think it would have been THAT great anyways. Watching some fancy pony couples dance while sipping some drinks at the bar. Maybe we should just go into town and party there"

 

Blossom Bloom held the letter up with her wings and read over it quickly. Once she was done, she sighed and shrugged while putting down the letter on the table. "I wasn't going to go anyway. No money or date. Besides, I've head it was boring." she said nonchalantly as she took another bite of her cake. She listened to Wildcard talk about the gala and how it would be better to go party on their own. "Hey, that doesn't sound like a bad idea!" her eyes lit up.

Later, upon hearing of Vinyl's condition, the princesses sent out letters saying that the gala will be held at the end of the week

Jaide put down the letter. "Well, I guess it means more time to get ready for the gala," she said out loud. "Now where was I?" she asked herself. "Oh yeah. I was to the others. I bet they already know about Vinyl though,"

 

Jaide set off in search of her friends.

Another letter popped up in front of Blossom. "ooo! more mail!" she picked it up and read it. "Ah. I see. Well, still not going to be able to go. As I said before...No money, no date. Oh well."

Just then, a ticket to the gala appeared in front of her

Blossom Bloom gasped when the ticket appeared in front of her. "Oh!" she picked it up carefully and studied the thin gold piece of paper. After a few seconds of silence, she spoke "Welp. Guess I'm going to The Gala. I don't have a date but that's ok."

Jaide walked around peeking through shops where her friends could possibly be.

 

"Nope. Not here. Empty. Nada. Nothing. Derpy? Ugh. Again, not here,"

 

Jaide has had enough of looking into stores and not being able to find her friends. "If I were a Blossom Bloom, where could I be?"She pondered about this for a while until finally being able to figure out where everybody might be.

 

Jaide walked into the place wehre Blossom Bloom was along with Wildcard and Wits.

Blossom Bloom ate the rest of her cake as she thought about The Gala. She heard someone come into the cafe and looked up from her plate to see who it was. It was Jaide. "Hey Jaide!" she waved at her.

Jaide looked around and spotted the Blossom Bloom. She went over to where she was and collapsed into the chair knocking over some things off the table.

 

"Oops. Might as well pick that up," she said as she went under the table to pick the shakers and napkins up.

Jaide looked over at Wildcard. "Hehe.. Sorry for leaving so quick. Just wanted to do something. I'm guessing because it's postponed, it's going to take a bit longer. Oh well. At least it means that I can get even more ready for the gala,"

"Nah, I don't know one and I need a suit myself" he answered and then turned back to Jaide "If you need stuff for the gala too, we could all go shopping tomorrow. I've seen a lot of stores that sell things for the gala"

"A store that sells things for the gala? Awesome! Why wasn't I told of this? Of course I would love to go," Jaide replied with a tone of excitement in her voice. "But of course. It has to be tommorow,"

"There are a few in the town center that sell dresses, suits and accessoires for the gala" he said "Oh, and tomorrow is fine for me" he added with a smile and then drank the rest of his (former) hot chocolate.

Jaide stared at Wildcard as he drank his hot chocolate. She shaked her head and focused on what she was going to say. "Wildcard, have you learned about what happened to Vinyl? I went to the hospital to pay Vinyl a visit but, the lady at the counter said it wasn't the time,"

(Eenope. Not at all. But I was sensing that you could have at least HEARD what happened.)

 

"Yeah. I'm a friend of her. I don't really know what happened. Just saw ambulances at the castle and I panicked when I saw that they were taking her away,"
