Fire Force wakes up from his nap hearing a distant sound of screaming and yelling, he quickly gets up and flies closer to the horrifying sound. Very quickly, Fire Force sees a group of ponies and a pile of dead bodies on the ground. "What happened?!" he said in shock.

Fire Force didn't know to trust them or not, but by the looks of their faces, they looked trustworthy. Besides, he no longer had to be alone, he now has a group to follow and has a higher chance of survival with them.

As the rain starts to come down they see Canterlot in the distance. Lets go we are just about there. Lighting flashes in the distance and starts to strike in a few places. Keep watch for when it strikes..

As they returned to the palace Ok we all here and safe now. Wait till the storm dies down before you go looking around the city Connor. But for now all of you go get something to eat and some rest. I have work to do. Diehard walked off to his lab. In walking he could feel his adrenalin going down, and all his wounds started to show. Looks like that fight took more out of me then i thought. Stumbling into the med ward. Patches i need a stitch kit and fast. Passes out

BIC: This was insane. This is exactly why Connor wanted to leave in the first place. Large groups like this tend to attract nasty sort of people.

 

Connor was still trying to calm Jason down. Jason's childhood has been rough, but he has never seen anything like they witnessed on the road. It was natural for him to be in shock. Connor picked him up and held him tightly.

 

For once Jason was shaking not out of cold, but out of fear.

 

"It'll be okay son... I'm here" He tried to comfort him as best as he could.

 

Diehard warned them about the storm, Connor just nodded. As soon as the storm dies down, they are gathering up supplies and leaving. Connor could not expose Jason to this anymore.

 

It will be hard living in the wilderness again, but they have managed to make it their home since Jason was a little colt. They will manage again.

Hours go by and the rain stops. Diehard wakes up and walks around. Still in pain from his quick fix up he limps to his lab to get the boys new arm. Going to the boys room he sees his mother still by his bed side. O my god what happened to you? Got in a lil fight getting the others but ill be fine. Here is his new arm. I will need your help putting it on. Is that for me sir? Is that my new arm? The broken child asked him. Yes it is. Now this may hurt a bit because its going to connect right to your nerves. Hold me mom. Hugs his mother Im ready. Ok here we go. Snapping the arm on it runs a current all through his body. AAAAAHHHHHGGGGGGHGHGHGHGAAGGAGH!!!!!

After attaching the boys new leg he walks with him down the hall the living quarters with the others. Its going to take some time to get use to it. But i can tell you this pulls fake fur sleeve down and shows him his arm it will get better. As the child wobbles down the hall getting use to his new leg. Thanks. Ill try. In the bed chamber with the others. Connor the rain has died down. If your going out now would be the best time. Oh and i have i new friend here for Jason to play with.

The other young filly walks up to jason, both are too shy to respond but they seem content knowing there are other kids their age.

 

Thinking of how jason could have a friend for the first time in his life he says "well..."

"you know he would enjoy it here, besides we need you." she said with authority yet a friendly tone.

In that case fallow me. These all have food in them based on whats on the doors and windows. All the doors are open so feel free to go in. Walks down the street and looks in certain places in the buildings and back allies checking on something..... Good everything is still good.

Lightning leads the two youner fillies down the hall to the group of children, as she watches the kids mingle and play a smile works its way onto her face.

She continues watching the children play, making sure it stays that way.

While look in all his buildings Diehard looks for signs of tampering by anyone else other than him. Alright everything is looking good so far. None of those fiends have found my stash yet. In the next store Diehard goes into he sees what he feared most to find in a place like this. Oh crap. Its a parasprite nest. Goes back out into the street and calls Connor. Connor!!!! We have a problem.
