private Winter RP

(I had the perfect post, didn't have to fix anything, sadly I forgot to change to prefix to private ;-;)

 

 

 

It was the time of the year, Winter was coming harvested food was safely stored in Ponies's

homes, and it was sure to last them through the whole winter. 3 months passed, the weather wasn't being very cooperative to them. Weeks passed, food was now running cautiously low. it wasn't until a full month that they realized there was clearly a problem. Not only had the food ran out, but the weather turned worse. Ponies were not only starving but freezing, Twilight now becoming aware that this wasn't natural and contacted the Princess, to which wasn't surprised, according to her, all of Equestria was suffering from this storm, Ponyville and Cloudsdale were in the center of it, and were majorly suffering for it, she had done everything in her power to help them, But it was useless. They were left with an only option, to cater food to both Ponyville and Cloudsdale, the ponies had grown weak, they were unable to all move out at once, Celestia sent a last letter to Twilight saying the following:

 

 

 

Dear Twilight Sparkle,

 

 

I am well aware that soon all of Ponyville will run out of food, I have

gathered as much food from other parts of Equestria. However, nopony

can handle the task to deliver it to Ponyville, they still have plenty of

food to last until the end of spring, and they have kindly gifted it to the

citizens of both Ponyville and Cloudsdale, My Magic is useless to deliver

this task, and that's why I will ask upon you to gather, as many ponies

as possible to deliver this food, which will hopefully be enough to feed every

single pony in both Cloudsdale and Ponyville.

Twilight Sparkle scrolled the letter back up, she got up into her hooves, she had slept next to the fireplace, since her room was to uncomfortable with this cold. Ever since the storm had started, nearly anypony went outside of their homes, today however it was different, the storm hadn't stopped, but it was clear it'd come to a stop soon, still it could take days, maybe even weeks before it came to a complete stop, and by then they might have already ran out of food *I should get the rest of the girls to tell them the news* she thought as she grabbed a scarf that hung near the door, she opened the door a cold shiver ran through her whole body *I should get Applejack first* she thought to herself as she changed directions, and trotted towards Sweet Apple Acres.

 

Pinkie Pie, Ponyville's number one party pony was in SugarCube Corner, there was rarely anything to eat, the cakes had managed though, Pinkie Pie tried to cut down on a few sweets, just so everypony had their fair share, the cakes seemed more worried about their twin foals, making sure they had everything they needed, the cold was pretty unbearable for anypony, and so they worried dearly about them. Pinkie hadn't thrown a party in months now, and there was many ponies whose birthdays sadly had to be skipped, and Pinkie couldn't afford to give them a proper party, as always that mattered to her deeply, and so she planned the biggest party for all of those ponies, there were lots of planning and plenty of time, and all she had to do was wait.

 

Sugar Rush a typical Ponyville Pegasus had very little patience left, her typical positive mood had been replaced with an annoyed one, she hadn't gone outside in a couple of days now, the weather was not only unbearable, but it had made her loose all interests in pranking. She was running out of food, and she guarded it carefully, making sure not to eat more than she needed, maybe she could persuade the Apple Family to give her a couple of apples that she could pay back as soon as the weather cleared, "Na'h, they probably already got ponies begging at their doorstep to get a couple of free apples" she said with a bored tone after she stood up "The weather doesn't look that bad today, I should take a quick flight" she said yawning and opening the door

[Lightning Flicker 101]

Lightning Flicker groaned. Her wings had stopped working so she'd had to live on the ground since this problem started. She was cold and hungry because she was too proud to ask for help. She crawled out of the hole she'd been sleeping in this whole time.

Hank yawned as he got up noticing his fireplace was burned out. He gave a deep not liking the cold weather. Hank put on his cloak kbowing that can keep some of his body heat in to keep him warm for abit. He walks outside his house closing the door behind him hoping he can get something to eat. He starts to head to sugercube corner knocking on the door and soon enters. "Pinkie pie are you in here? Do you have some food?" He walks around the place trying to keep warm.

Lightning Flicker sighed as she slowly trudged to Sugarcube corner. Maybe Pinkie Pie would offer her something. She shook snow off her hooves and then walked in. "Hello?" She noticed Hank. "Hello." She stood in one place, but kept moving her legs to keep warm.

Hank looks at lightning flicker "hey im hank i dont think we met" he gave a weak smile as he waits for pinkie.

Once lightning flicker caught a glimps of hank he could see a scar over his left eye and he has no pupil on the left eye.

Lightning Flicker didn't ask because she didn't like people asking about her mechanical wings. "I'm Lightning Flicker. Nice to meet you." Lightning Flicker wasn't one for talking. She wouldn't consider herself shy, she just wasn't comfortable meeting new ponies.

Misty Leaves shivered uncontrollably. All she had to keep herself warm was a green scarf of medium thickness. She was very close to running out of food. All that was left was a few crackers and an apple. If things didn't get better soon, she wouldn't know what to do. But that fact didn't dampen her spirits. Suddenly an idea struck her. Sweet Apple Acres must have some food stored somewhere. It was a farm after all. She caught herself mid-thought. She wasn't a thief anymore. If things didn't get better soon, though, Misty would have to do something drastic. She resolved to visit Sweet Apple Acres. "I'm not going to take anything while I'm there. I am just going to take a look at the place." she reassured herself. Misty drew her scarf tighter around her neck and went outside. She turned back and signed at the little shack she called home. One day she would get some recognition and make some real bits. But that was besides the point. Shaking out her delicate grey wings, Misty alighted into air, snout pointed towards the farm with the apple specialty. No matter what, she would control herself. Misty was not going to go back to her old ways, that much she could promise.

Bumble Berry was curled up in a ball in her living room floor, conserving as much body heat as possible, only getting up to travel to Sugarcube Corner to get some food only when she needed it. She had actually considered staying there on her next visit, bringing all her blankets and her sleeping bag. Someone would need to do something about this terrible winter if they were to survive. Her stomach growled, and she knew it was time to go. She stood up and trudged to her bed, picking up her mattress and her blankets and making her way to the door. Most ponies were weakened by the constant blow of the storm, but it had given her strength and determination when she needed it. She slowly made her way through the snow, dragging her mattress behind her and her blankets over her shoulder. Finally arriving at Sugarcube Corner, she called, "Pinkie, is it okay if I stay here everyday? It's really difficult to drag myself here whenever I need some food."

Pinkie was on her room until she head a couple of noises, "Oooh! I wonder if it's Twilight" she said jumping from her bed, as she started to walked downstairs, she quickly noticed the other ponies "Hi There!" she greeted "Need anything?" she asked cheerful as ever

Lightning Flicker remained silent for a moment. "Well, I'm kind of hungry........" She hated having to ask for help, but her food was in her cloud home that she couldn't reach because of the stupid weather.

Hank looks at Pinkie "hello i am wondering if i can get some food? after all the last time i ate was a couple weeks ago." he looks at Bumble Berry, and Lightning Flicker "if anyone wants a place to stay they can stay with me i just live across the street from here" he smiles.

"I'll take you up on that offer. I haven't been able to get home because of this weather." She glanced at the frozen mechanisms of her wings and sighed then muttered, "Stupid weather......" She wished she could get home.

Pinkie Pie got a slight feeling of guilt. In SugarCube Corner they had plenty of food for herself and the cakes, she smiled and trotted towards behind the counter "Okie Dokie, anything you'd like?" she asked the ponies cheerfully

Lightning Flicker shrugged. "As long as it's edible, I'll take it." Her stomach growled. She noticed that she'd lost weight as time went on and she couldn't get home. She was just lucky she hadn't gotten sick from sleeping in the snow.

Hank gave a smile "can i have a slice of cake?" he looks at Lightning Flicker "ok well i know you haven't been able to go home." he sighs "i dont like watching ponies suffer so when i notice a pony is suffering i try my best to help them out. Sometimes they are to stubborn to come so im surprised you took the offer"

Lightning Flicker shrugged. "I won't ask for help, but if somepony offers, hey, why should I turn them down? I just feel guilty if I ask." Lightning Flicker was a bit surprised he'd known. But at least she could go sleep somewhere warm from now on.

"Hmm...." she hummed tapping her chin "Be back in a sec!" she said as she walked into the kitchen happily humming one of her songs, almost instantly she returned with a single already frosted cake "If you need anything else feel free to ask" she said smiling as she put the cake on the nearest table. Still standing in the background, she stepped further into the room and asked, "Do you mind if I sleep here? It's getting more dangerous to travel everyday, and this is the only place to come when my food runs out, which is quite often, considering the fact I only get enough for one day whenever I come here."

He gave a smile "thank you pinkie pie how much would that be?" he looks at Lightning Flicker " well later i can take you to my house" he looks at Bumble Berry "do you want to stay at my house?"

Lightning Flicker grabbed a slice of cake. "Thanks Pinkie. Thanks Hank." Lightning Flicker took a bite from the cake slice. It was delicious, as usual. She was glad to have come to Sugarcube corner now.

Hank smiles and also grabbed a slice of cake "thanks pinkie. Your welcome Lightning Flicker its the least i can do" he takes a bite from the slice of cake. "wow i will never get tired of eatting cake" he smiles taking another bite.

She looked to the pony who had offered her to let her stay at his house. Is it near here? My house is nearly 3 kilometers from here, so it would be splendid to be in a house closer to a source of food."

"I know, right! Cake is just too awesome to get tired of. I mean, it's, well, cake! There's no other way to describe it's awesomeness other than saying 'it's cake!' Sorry, I sometimes get a bit hyper when I eat cake. Not all the time though which seems weird."

Misty gently landed on the roof of the big barn. She shivered again. Flying in this weather wasn't her brightest idea, but it would be worth it in the end if she could get some food. Nopony was outside, so she assumed the Apple family was inside. Trying to sneak into the barn would certainly result in failure. She would give it a while before she'd leave. Maybe if she could learn their habits, then she could break in and then..... "Wait!" she shouted, but quickly silenced herself. "Oops, hope nopony heard me. I'd better just go..." She lifted up off the barn and flew to Sugarcube Corner. There would be food there too, but she certainly wouldn't be the only pony to realize this. Right before she went through the door, Misty heard voices inside. She had been correct in her assumption. Stealthily, Misty Leaves went to a side window and watched the ponies in Sugarcube Corner. The pink pony that she usually saw working there was giving out free food. "Hmph, what's the point in giving it away? Hold on, she's giving it away..." Suddenly it clicked in her head. Why steal when it could be handed out to you? If she hurried, she could get some before they ran out. Misty ran back to the entrance and shouted. "Hey, hey, I see you're giving out some food. Mine giving me some?"

Hank nods at Bumble Berry "my house is just across the street so we are close by." he takes a bite of the cake again "well its ok that you get hyper when you eat cake, there is a lot of sugar in the cake anyways. I dont really eat cake i have to keep my shape" he smiles as he finishes his slice. Hank looks at Misty from under his hood while no one could really see his face unless he decides to take it off. "sure you can here is a slice" he sets the slice next to him.
