And for that matter why is Celestia so much larger than Luna? Luna & Cadence are big, but Celestia is huge. Mu Nova 66 August 22, 2012 Share August 22, 2012 I used to just say "because deity pony," but then Hasbro made Cadence. lol So I dunno, but it sure seems to suit them. As for Luna being smaller than Celestia, I'd say that's because they want it to show that Luna is the younger sister. I've never seen it suggested just how much younger, so... lol Though I think I remember hearing about Lauren claiming she wasn't finished growing and would end up bigger, and would not look like NMM. Though with her gone, who knows... lol Speaking of whom, I'd like to know why she left. I miss that pride we all had in citing her as the one in charge. I don't think they would stand out as much, they would blend in with the crowd. What I don't get is the age. If Celesita and Luna are like 100 years old, does this mean Cadence is 100 years too? I don't see Celestia or Luna aging We see Cadence age though. I think she's a "last minute" character the creators just put in, same with Prince Blueblood. Mu Nova 66 August 22, 2012 Share August 22, 2012 Cadence (or Cadance, as Hasbro insists on spelling it...) was a character Lauren had in mind, I think with the same overall story, but provided she had become a character under her reign (lol), she was going to be an ordinary pony, not an alicorn. Hasbro decided to make her into one for some reason. I like it, she looks great. My only qualm is, how will they exlpain it iirc? "She's from another country" doesn't quite cut it, lol. As for some of the fancy ponies in Canterlot, they are problaby just aged at their 40s or something.
