The Little Things

So a few minutes ago I was making my brother and myself something to eat but first I was going to wash my hands. I went to squeeze the soap bottle and a barrage of bubbles popped out and started popping all over the kitchen. My brother and I can't help but start smiling and then we start laughing! Although it was a little thing it made me realize that it really is the little things in life that can make you happy. It was the first time in a while I had legitimately laughed!

It's that warm fuzzy feel in your bed where it's cold outside your blankets, but you're toasty where you are.

You jerk upwards at the time and then

you remember it's Saturday.

 

(Then you remember you missed the newest episode of My Little Pony hours ago on the telly. )

So true, the little things are what make life, life. My dog chases laser pointers like a cat would only he is 100 pounds so he is this massive dog running into walls and attacking this little light, and if he didn't do this life would just go on but every time I watch him It makes my day

I feel the same way about the fart noises that come out of the ketchup bottle.

Aaahh.. The little things.

 

Now bottles are getting more and more sophisticated. I hope they don't engineer a "solution" for those noises.

Rowing on a calm river.

Being awake at sunrise when it's like 60-70 degrees fahrenheit,

Spring afternoons where it's just a tad warm and the air smells nice.

Being in a city and watching the traffic high up.

I really love to go out on a nice night and just look up at the stars and wonder if there is anything else out there other then us. ^.^

 

It's the little things that can make a bad day go to a very nice night. ^.^

Birds chirping at 4am.

 

Even if it may be annoying, it means several things due to nature that science has figured out:

Birds chirping in the morning means that plants are still around, the sun is rising, and food is plentiful.
