Diehard looks around at the others and can see they had tears in their eyes on the way over here. This looks like its going to be easy. But i dont these kids to go through this. He shouts out to the others. Hey you guys. Im Diehard of District 5. I would like to get to know you all if we are going to be killing each other. All of their faces dropped as he finished talking.

Medley fluffed her wings anxiously. She already knew that all of the tributes would wield a weapon and kill, but she didn't want to be reminded of it.

Medley hid behind her fringe and curled up as small as she could.

This is all a nightmare. She thought A sick, twisted nightmare. And when you wake up, there will be no Hunger Games. But she knew that it wasn't a dream. It was a real, living nightmare.

Boss walks over to Ezio and Diehard as they seemed to be the only ones who weren't crying. I feel sorry for some of these ponies. They don't seem to confident. Although we are all earth ponies so perhaps we are more suited to take tasks. At least you guys look tough. I was hoping that you wouldn't all be crying.

 

As soon as everyone had entered the room a squad of royal guard rushed in and escorted them all to the main plaza of Canterlot and then they saw her. Celestia. Welcome! Everypony welcome. You have all been chosen from your separate districts to compete in this tournament of wits and skill. Boss from 1. Medley from 2. Shade from 3, Die Hard from 4 (I did this just so we wouldn't have two people from the same place), Quillosion from 5, Ezio from 6, and Whirlwind from 7. You have all been assigned a room according to your district. A royal guard will escort every one of you to your room tonight. Tomorrow at the break of dawn a guard will come to your room and escort you to the training area where you will be judged by sponsors. Good night everypony and please do not worry too much. You will all get to know each other tomorrow during training.

What a monster Princess Celestia had became! Ezio couldn't help feeling sorry for everypony else, but for now they would have to cooperate. He would just have to hope that somepony would take over the tyrant and bring peace and harmony back to Equestria. Why wasn't princess Luna doing anything to help them, was she siding with this now evil alicorn? He shrugged it off as he finally arrived at his room, where the guards left him to himself. He staggered in, to fake that he was too weak to escape, and the royal guards left. He looked back and noted that he was no longer under surveillance, and he looked around frantically for a window, and he found one. Looking out, he noticed that it wasn't too far to the floor. He wondered why nopony was preventing his escape, but not giving it too much of a thought, his left hoof went out for his escape. "Buck," he shouted through gritted teeth, inaudible for anypony to hear. The moment it was out, it came back in through the window, a jolt of pain going through his hoof, though nothing too serious. Apparently, there was a force-field surrounding the building. 'Looks like I'm here to stay', he thought.

As Medley reached the room that she was staying in, and the guards had left her alone, she slammed the door shut then lay down on the bed and cried into the pillow. She didn't even try to look for an exit, as she could tell that they wouldn't simply 'leave them alone'. She didn't know exactly what was stopping them from escaping, but she knew that she couldn't escape. That she was trapped.

Boss got pushed into his room and had the doors shut behind him. He immediately looks for something to eat. Luckily every room had a fully stocked mini fridge. Ugh finally. I'm starving. I wonder where I am? I thought I saw Ezio being pushed into the building to my right and Medley into the one on my left. Maybe I can find some way to communicate with with them. Boss looks out the window to his left and can see Medley inside. He yells. Hey! Hey can you hear me?

Shade was led by the guards to Room 3. It was a nicely decorated room, with a speaker playing smooth jazz. "This place looks nice..." Shade said. She looked at a nicely decorated plant, and saw a camera and a wire. 'I guess I'll play a trick on Celestia...' She thought. "Oh, how much I can't wait to kill EVERYONE in the games! I absolutely love that Celestia made these games!" Shade said loudly, but quietly chuckling. Shade sat down, and saw Boss 2 rooms down, through a window. "Hey boss!" Shade yelled.

Medleys' head jerks up at the sound of her name being called. After being confused for a moment where the voice was coming from, she trots over to her window and opens it.

Diehard got to his room and looked around. Well this is roomy. And to think they want us to kill each other. Plops on the bed. Bed feels nice. Hmmm and the snacks look good too. This might not be all that bad. Starts to eat some peanuts.

Ezio looked toward the glass on one side of the room. Apparently he was the furthest room to one side, so he could see everypony else's room just through that one window. He saw Boss talking with Medley through one, which seemed a bit weird. Wouldn't the ponies here at the castle at least be smart enough to add sound proof and bullet proof glass? If he wanted to, he could smash through the glass just then. But why should he, the doors would still be locked.

Quillusion got shoved into her room and landed on the floor, hard. She was still crying, but was starting to stop. After a few minutes of laying on the floor, she got up and looked around. It as quite a lovely room, why they were in luxury when they were being sent to there deaths, she had no idea. She did however decided to make the most of it and went into her bathroom jumping into the shower for a nice long and hot relaxation time.

Celestia sees competitors speaking to each other through the windows. Oh my competitors it isn't time for that yet. Tomorrow you will have plenty of time to get to know each other but this is alone time. Game Maker! You know what button to do. Bring down the soundproof domes to close off the buildings. Twilight? Where are you? I need something.

Ezio heard the announcement over a loud speaker placed in the corner of the room. He stepped away from the window and headed toward the shower. He hadn't showered since that morning, and he was beginning to get a little smelly.

 

After the shower he headed toward the fridge, stomach growling for some food. He opened the small apparatus and took out a nice looking plate of Semmel Knoedel with mushroom sauce and parsley, which he placed in the microwave and warmed up before enjoying.

 

((OOC: If anypony is wondering why I chose that certain dish, I felt like if the castle was supposed to have luxury, they might as well have this ))

 

Ezio headed to the window one last time to look through, but it seemed they also had a button to darken the windows, preventing you from looking through, so he headed to the bed and lay there, staring at the ceiling, thinking.

 

Ezio's mind eventually was too tired to continue thinking any more, even though Ezio desperately wanted to continue. But his brain couldn't sustain it, and he fell asleep.

As soon as the soundproof dome came down Boss backed away and wondered what the others were thinking. He wasn't necessarily scared. Just nervous. He decides the best thing to do is sleep hoping it will clear his mind. I wonder what dad is doing right now... With that Boss falls asleep in his bed.

Game Maker walked over to a button by the rooms. Alright, chat time's over. He pressed the button and soundproof domes covered each of the rooms. Alright princess, all set. Game Maker had been the head gamemaker for a few years because of his creative and clever ideas. If he came up with it, you could bet it would be entertaining. At first, he was appalled by the games. But after so many, he had lost all sympathy.

Morning came quickly. Literally as soon as the sun could be seen royal guards barged into the 7 rooms and began to escort people to the training facility. There they Celestia once again. She was on a perch just above them along with seven other sponsors. (Twilight being one of them) Welcome the training facility everypony. Here you will train your skills, stealth, and speed so that you are prepared for the challenge ahead. This is also where the sponsors will get their first looks at you so make a good impression! Alright begin!

Quillusion stood in the training room. What did she need to do. She knew enough about plants from the plenty of books she had read, so maybe she should start there. She soon walked over to the Edible plants section of training and sat down. The trainer seemed happy to have some one, and Quillusion started to show off her probably one skill of knowing plants.

Whirlwind nervously looked around the room *Alright Training, what to do, what to do, okay, try to impress the ponies, make some allies, that way I will at least be alive for more than a day* she thought as she walked to the center of the room gulping nervously.

Twilight watched as the tributes spread out ac,Ross the training center. " Look at that light blue one, with the blue mane. Looks like she might know something usefull" she said quietly to Celestia.

Game Maker took a seat at the table were his fellow gamemakers sat and observed the various ponies show off their own skills and learn new ones. He watched each one with extreme scrutiny to learn their strengths and weaknesses. He would use these to make as entertaining the games as possible for the princess and all of Equestria

Shade decided that the hunger games would require strategy. She decided to head to stealth. The test was to get down a hall without activating the motion-detecting cameras. The first few times she failed, but on her 6th attempt, she made it. Then she went towards archery. Taking a bow and a quiver of arrows, she took aim, and almost hit a bullseye. After a while, she was able to do it like robin-pony. Shade sat down and rested.

Ezio stood in the training room, silent as everypony began showing what they could do. He trotted over to the combat targets, noting the exact positions where the all stood. He launched forward and flipped over the first, back-hoofing it in the back, sending it sprawling. There was no time to admire his work, he had to move on immediately. He twisted in mid-air before landing his front hooves in the second figures face, before flipping off and knocking the other one off it's plastic hooves. He froze and spotted the next three targets a few meters away. Jumping forward, he flicked out his assassin's knife and buried it in the first ones throat, and still hanging on, twisted his hoof to roundhouse kick the second one. He recollected his blade and jumped up to a low hanging beam from the ceiling. He looked down at his third, or he should say sixth, target. He hooked his larger weapon in his belt to the beam so he could hang on, and he demolished the target after grabbing it's head with it's back hooves and throwing it, still hanging on, toward the bodies of fake ponies. He unhooked the weapon and landed softly on the ground and looking up at the direction of the sponsors.

Diehard sat down in the training room. Looking at the wall of weapons, he was trying to find something he had never used before. Mastered it. Mastered it. Mastered it. Ooo this is new. As he picked a scythe off the wall. Hmmmm....Feels like a staff. But with the weight of a battle ax. Swings it around to get a feel for it. Oh yea im liking this.

Boss entered the training room and looked around at all of the other competitors, looking for what they were good at. Hmmm. Well I don't know what to do. I don't have biological knowledge like Quillusion, I can't fly like Medley or Whirlwind. I'm not stealthy like Shade, I don't have speed like Ezio and I don't have combat training like Die Hard... But one thing I known for back in my district was my sheer size and strength. I was the strongest in my district and looks like im the biggest here. Boss walks up to the punching bag corner and rips off one of the bags without effort. He then begins to pound the crap out of them with brute strength.
