DH said he wouldn't let you die! But then that giant... thing!" Shade held her head, confused. "I just want these damned games to be over..."

Luna quickly walked out of the Royal Spectating room. Yes sister! What is it that you need? There still hasn't been a tribute that died. I think we should do something about it. Princess Luna had to admit that the games were getting very boring.

Shade started blushing after hearing that Boss felt the same for her. She gave him a quick kiss on the cheek, and stood up, looking up at the dome. "I wonder what Celestia is gonna be planning now..." Then, she felt a rumbling. turning around, she saw that... "THE VOLCANO IS ERUPTING!!!" Shade yelled, hobbling away.

I agree Luna. Please take yourself down to Die Hard's control room and tell him he better make these games interesting soon or I will take matters into my own hands. And I will also have his head. Until he picks up the events this will have to do... She presses button and a fowl presence sweeps into the arena. Mist falls to the ground, allowing you to only see feet in front of your face. What makes it worse is lava is now falling around them. Let's see how they like my otherworldy pets...

 

Boss blushes wildly after Shade kisses his cheek but he quickly snaps out of it. He then notices the mist sweep in and can feel a dark presence within the arena. To make it worse the volcano is erupting and he can barely see. We should probably move Shade... He then spots Medley and runs to her. Medley wake up! We have to move! Shade try to wake up Medley and I'll keep and eye out for Quillusion and... whatever the buck it is Celestia sent out for us...

Shade began to try to wake Medley up. "Medley! Wake UP! Celestia is trying to kill us!" Shade yelled in her ear. But she kept on sleeping. She facehoofed, then picked her up. She ran over to Boss, Then, all of a sudden, they were lifted up in the same orb that Shade was trapped in. Candace's face appeared in front of them.

"Guys! I'm gonna get you out of here! Hang o-"

All of a sudden, a guard came behind Candace, beheading her. Shade literally screamed in horror, crying at the sight of her swift death. The orb dropped to the ground, breaking.

Damn you DD! You could have killed them! So...what are you going to do about it? Im going to kick you out! DH starts to focus on DD and takes over his mind. AHHHHHH.... WHAT aRe YOU DoinG to me! I think its time we broke up. The other GM's look at DH as he fights with himself. Sir are you ok? FIRE EVERYTHING!!! Just then he hit a button that made the volcano explode. NO!!!! GET OUT OF MY BODY!! Just then DH's body grew another head, then a set of hooves, a body, and then it splits. How...did you...do that? Wait .....im free? Guards seize him! And put him in the battle dome. He wants to fight....then let him. Wait you.....you cant do this to me! I am you. Im in charge here! No.....i am the only DH.....You are just my demon DD. Take him away. The guards put DD in a pod and send him to the battle dome.

Shade was still in shock from Candace's death, and now the volcano was exploding! JUST AWESOME! Looking up, she saw a pod decending in from the dome roof. The pod landed, and out came... "Death Dealer... You..." Shade said. She drew out her poison knife, just scratching him on his leg. She lunged towards him again, slashing wildly. "I'LL MAKE YOU PAY!!!"

Boss holds Shade back and nods at Deathdealer. Hold on Shade... Maybe you should try one of my pills... But seriously he may be friendly so don't be so quick to assume. He is a tribute just like us now... and may want to work with us... Boss acts tough but on the inside he was decimated by Cadence's death. She was his sponsor and had been so kind to him...

 

Celestia is stunned. I never ordered for the death of Cadence! Luna! Find me who is responsible for her death and bring him to me! As for myself I suppose I shall grant Twilight's audience request... She then uses her magic to teleport herself to Twilight's cell. What do you want?

 

In the darkness of the deepest shadows of the arena Celestia's shadow beast was growing... feeding off of the darkness and the misery and the fear of the tributes... soon... soon it would be powerful enough to make it's move... and the games will take a turn for the worst...

Quillusion watched the other tributes, but mostly Shade. Shade didn't seem to like her, and she had no like for Shade at the moment either. She had a plan but Shade had ruined that. She pulled out her knife. She was waiting for the perfect moment to strike and hopefully hurt them.

DD looked nonchalantly at Shade as she cut him. He then stops her attack and tosses her to the side. If you keep that up all of us will die. Walks over to one of the boxes with a poison antidote. Well now that i got that out of my system. You guys are in for the ride of your life. With DH at the controls, we are all doomed. Looking at the head of Cadence. Its a shame she is dead. Picks her head up. But this will come in handy. It still has magic in it. Now as i was saying.....

 

Back in the control room DH gets up and takes his seat. Are you ok sir? Oh yes. Im more than fine. Im much better now that i got him out of me. Now...send out the changelings.....NOW!!! Hits a button and gates open all over the top of the dome and a swam of changelings take to the dome. And change the landscape. Turn it into a rain forest, with canyons, and split up all the tributes. Put them on different sides of the dome.DO IT NOW!!! The dome shakes and the land changes. A a platform rises and takes them to the farthest sides of the battle dome. Now they will be sure to die.

Shade was lifted up into the air, and was placed in a canyon. Looking around, she saw that the dome had opened once again. And in came the changelings. From the dome's roof came Chrysalis and her changelings. At least a dozen landed in front of her, turning into copies of herself. "This is gonna be fun!" Shade yelled, shooting a fire arrow at one of the changelings.

Uh, y-yes sister! The princess ran off to look for Princess Cadence's killer. She called her Guards of the Night to scramble. She ordered them to search everywhere, even ponies' houses if necessary. They searched, but couldn't find the killer. Ma'am, we couldn't find any suspected killer. Keep searching!

With the death of Cadence, Game Maker's healing bubble burst prematurely, ripping open his original wounds even further than before. AAAAAAAAAUUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH! This was happening as the transformation in the arena was happening. He was in brought into the side that Shade was in. He coughed and hacked up a LOT of blood. Very loudly. It attracted the attention of a hungry nearby tiger.

Quillusion felt herself move then yelled. "No!" She screamed out. She had lost her chance and who knew what would happen now. She then saw changelings start to appear, and what, some of them were turning into her. No, but she guessed it was her first real fight ever. She pulled out her knife, and looked at the changelings, waiting for one to attack her to finely try out this new knife she had.

Shade turned, and saw a tiger about to kill GM. She hesitated, then decided it was time to take it out. She pulled out the fire-energy sword Candace gave her secretly. She charged at the tiger. "GREAT AETHER!!!" Shade shouted, looking a little bit like this:

After the tiger was dead, she ran over, helping GM patch his wounds. "You ok, GM?" Shade asked.

From the shadows of Celestia's throne room, Darklash watched. He was Celestia's right-hand assassin. Although she had not approved to execute Candace for her treachery, he decided it would help the capitol if he did. 'Candace is dead, yet I feel my job is not done.' He thought. He jumped high, grabbing the ceiling, and crawled into an air duct.

DD and Medley were moved to the volcano side of the battle dome. That damn DH is trying to get rid of me. He has gone to far. As DD walks down the volcano he trips over something. What the hell is this? Medley....is that you? Medley was bleeding out badly and had thorns sticking out of her body. You poor thing. It would be cruel to leave you alive like this. Picks her up and walks back to the mouth of the volcano. At least this way you will die like a true warrior. I will always respect you, and wish i could have fought you myself. But it is time for you to die....in peace. Drops her body into the mouth of the volcano. Her body hits the lava and she makes no sound, but excepts her death and goes in peace. Some of her blood and fur was still on DD. As you pass from this world to the next you are freed from the pain of the real world. Death by fire the true way to send off a warrior. You are now one with the flame, and thus one with mother Earth. And now...looking at the blood and fur on his hooves....you are apart of me as well. Rest in flames my friend....Medley

 

Twi sees Tia in front of her cell. Princess im......im......i want to ask for your forgiveness. I have seen the error of my ways. I want to get out of here and sit by your side again. Please Princess please......Forgive me. She had tears in her eyes.

 

DH watched as the ponies were pulled apart. He watched as DD sent off Medley. How noble of him. He truly is my better half. Send in the flesh eating parasprites.

Darklash was crawling through the ducts. He eventaully reached Twi's cell. He noticed Twilight was asking to be forgived. But he also remembered her plotting something earlier. Darklash reached a grate, and kicked it open, landing outside the cell next to Celestia. "My princess." Darklash said, taking a knee like a knight does. "I would not trust Twilight. You never know, she may be trying to deceive you." He looked over at Twi with his peripheral vision. She was glaring at him. Darklash began to quietly chuckle. He stood up. "Well my princess, I shall be off then." He jumped up to the grate, dashing inside.

And plus i need to check on DH and see if he's ok. I know he's the new GM but i would still like to be put over him.

*sigh* *blood cough* Shade... I can't die here. My mother and sister depend on me. I'm their only source of income. Now the only thing I was good at is gone. I need to keep them alive. I was willing to make a deal with that devil Celestia to do so. But now I've failed. Once she has the time, she'll have them murdered, or captured, then murdered in front of me like my father!

Shade continued to heal him. "Calm down, Gamemaker. I won't let them hurt your family." Shade gave him some food to help him. "Hey GM, you once told me that you have killed many ponies in these games in your time as the head gamemaker. Did you want to kill them at the time, or did you just do that to stay alive?" Shade gave a quick grin. "There, you should be all patched up now. Here, you might need this." Shade handed him a dagger and some kunais.

 

Darklash crawled through the ducts to the gamemaker's office. Looking at the monitor, she saw DH looking at the screen, watching Shade and GM. "Ah, sis... Making friends, are you?" He thought.

Game Maker stood there thinking. Finally he said: I can't help you. It's too risky. Celestia will win, she always does. And when she does, she'll take what you love most and use it to BREAK you. It was part of my deal with her. Remember when I said I didn't agree with these games at first? Well I actually helped start a rebellion my first time as head GM. We failed, even though we were doing so well. She found out, had her guards kidnap my father and tore him apart in front of me. She said she'll do the same to my mother and sister if I don't deliver. Now look; I've been replaced. I- I need to... I don't know what to do. If I die here, they'll die. If I make it out, she'll find us and kill us. Or worse, she'll leave me alive. GM started to mumble incoherently to himself. He was pacing back and forth trying to decide what to do.

"GM, calm down! If we can't defeat Celestia, then maybe we can just escape, possibly to some other place in the world. Somewhere out of her reach." Shade said.

 

Darklash just kept watching the monitor. "HmpH. Incredibly boring. I think I might intervene..." Darklash said, throwing a kunai at a button that said "Poison Flood". This should be fun.

Celestia looks over Twilight and smiles. Do not play me for a fool Twilight. I know the moment you get time by yourself than you will attempt to escape and help those tributes you seem to care for so much. Now tell me, how can I know that I can trust you again? After the way you so treated me.

 

Boss gets up after being flung to a distant part of the arena. He stretches his legs and reaches for his back. He is relieved to notice that his sword is still there. He is still disturbed about the death of Cadence but he decides to push on when he notices a deep purple mist flow into the arena. P-poison? God dammit how the buck am I supposed to survive these games if they keep pulling stunts like this? ...Wait the point of these games is for me to die... He bucks down a tree and sets it up against another tree to climb up into it so that the poison couldn't get to him. Wonder how long this will last for...

 

It is almost ready... Through the pain and sorrow of those in the arena... it grows stronger... And there is plenty of that to go around... It continues to take in these dark emotions and grow in power... Soon... Soon it will be released upon these tributes and the games will become much more interesting...

Shade began to notice a dark mist trickling into the arena. "POISON!" She shouted. She picked up GM and flew him up higher. The changelings below her began to die from poisoning. "Hang on, GM!"

 

"Now this isn't fun... Everypony is just avoiding it! Hmm..." Darklash threw kunais at 2 more buttons, one saying "Poison Vultures" and one that said "Lower Dome". This should be more interesting.
