Gimp/Photoshop: What's better, Air brush or Paint brush?

If anypony here draws, traditionally or digitaly, which do you prefer more, the Air brush or the Paint brush and why? I use an air brush right now, only because I don't know how to exactly use the Paint brush yet, I wish I did though . The airbrush is pretty good for adding light bounce, and probably low opacity shades, but that's all I can think of that it's good for, as of with a paint brush amazing once you know how to use it .

i prefer Gimp because it is just as good as phototshop, and it's free. I also think that you can do a lot more with Gimp that you can with photoshop.

I prefer paintbrush for both digital and traditional (though maybe pencil over paint when it come to traditional?)

In my personal opinion in the small amount of art that I do, pencil works best for paper, and paintbrush works best for GiMP/Photoshop. Also, I think GiMP is better, because, you know, free.
