My Little Pony: Subtitle Unknown “Welcome To Bronco Falls”

Epilogue

The great land of Equestria… ruled by the absolute influence of Princess Celestia. Many ponies and colts live here in timeless peace and prosperity within a small, yet grand town of Bronco Falls… Oh, my name is Sunlight. I’ve been a citizen here for many years and as well as been a wonderful neigh-bour to many of the folk here; many of my fellow colts and ponies refer to me by the nickname ‘Sunny’, for I’m always able to offer assistance and care to my beloved town with a delightful smile on my face. As a graduated scholar to the Princess herself, I’ve gained a wonderful liking for keeping a fair supply of letters between the Princess and me. She gains plenty of interest to these in which that she had referred me to another student of hers by the name of Twilight Sparkle. Ever since she had referred to her, Twilight and I have been great quill-pals for many years. I hope in some time to meet her face to face one day, sooner or later. I also enjoy classical novels of romance and adventure; many of which I’ve collected in my personal library and/or borrow from my local library as well. From the love of such tales, I can find many enduring moments of adventure for myself here in Bronco Falls, especially at my favorite spot to read at, the great falls itself… Oh! Whoops… I went off-topic right there, but you clearly understand what I mean… This is my story of my adventures.

 

 

 

Such an ambitious day for a good reading of literature, Sunlight decided to go to the library to get a book that he was eager to read. As he trotted by, he greeted every colt and pony he passed with a sweet and enthusiastic “Hello!” Once he arrived, he opened the door, the bell upon the top of door chimed; the librarian bolted towards the lobby and greeted Sunlight with a smile. “Hello there, is The Great Stallion in? I’ve heard from my friends that it was worth reading”, he asked. “Well, I’ll check…” The librarian went to check her listings, Sunlight then began to imagine of how the novel was going to be, critics of the local paper claimed it as a timeless classic. The librarian then came up, rang the desk bell and replied, “Yup, it just came in a few minutes ago from a young filly; based from her critique provided within the card enclosed, she claimed it as a wondrous story.” “That’s great, I was pretty sure that she would. Thank you very much.” Sunlight responded. The librarian also mentioned to Sunlight, “I also have the newest chapter here as well. Would you like to borrow it too?” Sunlight accepted the offer, checked out the books and placed them within his satchel. As he approached the door to leave, the librarian called out and waved, “Good-bye, you have yourself a wonderful day Sunny!” Sunlight waved back to the librarian as he closed the door. He then decided to go to the post office to get his mail; perhaps Twilight sent him another letter from Celestia for the two to talk about. As he trotted to the post office, he noticed a poster that explained of the upcoming Annual Gala from the palace. Sunlight had always enjoyed such an occasion, the colts and ponies he met would be there, the musical choices and mixes to offer to everyone for their excitement! Sunlight would surely go there, especially since he really knew how to start a party well. As he arrived to the post office, he was immediately greeted by Speedy* and saying that the mail had arrived for Sunlight. There were two letters, one being from Twilight Sparkle of Ponyville and the other from the King and Queen of Bronco Falls. Sunlight placed Twilight’s letter within his satchel and opened up the letter from the King and Queen. It was an invitation to the Annual Gala; it read that all were welcome to join in a festive experience with old and new friends to be made. Sunlight continued to read onto who would be the honorary pony/colt of the year for the event. He always loved to offer a grand experience for the one who was chosen. As he continued on, he read, “This year’s honorary pony/colt for the Annual Gala is Sunli…” he stopped in hesitation and shock. After a moment of realizing what was imprinted upon the invitation, he shouted with joy that he was thrilled for such an experience. He had never been the honorary pony/colt of the year from the time that he’s been in Bronco Falls. He galloped off to Luxury’s Boutique for a special tuxedo for the occasion, but he tended to spread his joy to anypony or colt that he passed. As soon as he came to the door, he let out a sigh of relief from all the excitement and entered the shop. “Hello, who is there?” Luxury called out as she approached the counter. “Oh, it’s Sunny! It’s great to see you again! How can I help you?” “Oh thank you very much, Lux. It’s just so bright to see your face again. I’ve come to ask for a special tuxedo to be made for the Annual Gala tonight. Can you help me out, dear friend?” Sunlight asked. Luxury agreed immediately and guided him to her studio for some quick measurements. After gazing upon various colors to suit the occasion and a few necessary changes to improve the tux from its appearance as well as its quality, it was complete. “This is great! I just gratified by your skill from the many years that you spent learning to master such an art.” Sunlight said as he looked at his reflection from the mirror. “So, how much will it…” “No, it’s alright. For this grand event, you deserve to be within your best and I feel that you have the right to keep this as a token of my gratitude for being a dear friend for many years” Luxury interrupted.

This is my first fanfiction that I'm writing on my spare time. Mind that it's not finished yet. I'm looking for some peer reviews, due to how my writing comes out to be more like a screenplay for films. Secondly, a few critiques wouldn't hurt either... but mind that if you happen to make one, please add a quotation from the file itself.
