visual art 2007 Chrysler PT Cruiser Drawing

Just recently, I detailed my cousin's 2007 Chrysler PT Cruiser because the vehicle was very oxidized and the paint was very dull, I got it looking brand new so I gave her this drawing to match her clean car.

The car wasn't the EASIEST thing to restore the original shine to, but after many hours I got the task done. I mostly used rubbing compound on the body and buffed it in with my new Craftsman 1,400 RPM buffer and then waxed it down and buffed it out with my 10 inch buffer that runs slower random orbits to work it in to the paint.

 

I'll post the picture of the drawing first and then the picture of the cleaned vehicle under it.

 

Here's my drawing of her car, it's not exact but it's pretty close, she enjoyed the picture so it all worked out.

 

Here's her exact car after I finished buffing it down, looks new don't it? I should have taken a before and after picture to show how bad the body really looked, being a black car, it soaked in the sun like a sponge and oxidized the hell out of it which makes it very rough and hard to wash, but now it's fixed!

(you can see my awesome 2006 Pontiac GTO 6.0 Liter LS2 with a 6 speed manual transmission in the reflection from the PT Cruiser... just sayin')

you're way better than me, lemmie tell you that. my car drawings are a box on wheels XD but I like how much detail you put into it, its like I'm looking at manufacturer plans

Thank you for the compliments! I try my best to add as much detail as I can to give it a more realistic look, I still wish I was good enough to basically shade the contours instead of lining out the whole car, but learn by doing, maybe soon...

Very nice job! This I always found to be one of the more interesting designed vehicles by Chrysler. I have always had an attachment to them.
