Seafoam walked with them and stopped when she saw Canterlot. Ever since I was a little filly I always wanted to see Canterlot... but not like this. I expected my first time here to be grand. But it's nothing but destruction... And no AK for me... I hate guns. They are loud and are only meant to kill.

As they arrived at the gate Fluttershy nudged Applejack to follow her, she then proceeded to walk towards a lone tree near the entrance to the gate, so that they could discuss things privately. As she walked by the gate she saw Shade, she smiled meekly at her, then hung her head down, in her mind she failed Shade. She perked her head back up, with a determined look in her eye.

 

She wasn't going to fail Applejack too.

he laid down and closed his eyes, pinkie laid next to him and snuggled under his wings like every night when Parso wasnt on watch. tomorrow was the day of truth. if the princess is gone, how can order be restored. this was too much to think of in a dream so let it go

Split focus awoke enough to hear a muffled conversation.

"nopony...angry....zomponies....escape."

He didn't wake up enough to become aware of his surroundings and quickly fell back into a deep sleep.

His vision faded into a basement, filled with bodies....

"These poor ponies" he whispered, trying to keep his stomach from turning...

He ran to the only door in the room.

But it was locked.

parso quietly said as he clung to the edge of the wall, his wings flapping to keep him upright. after a decent observation he hopped down and landed on the ground outside. he ran to his bag and took out the bottle of petroleum and the rag, setting up a molotov ponytail for when he needed it

shade wakes up and prepairs to enter canterlot...

Parso did what he did best, his expertise in firearms allowed him to teach the ponies using the rifles on how to aim them properly

"basic firearms training done, I'd suggest practise firing them first but we're short on bullets"

parso cocked the rifle, showing everypony how to do so and then slung the automatic rifle over his shoulder. he looked over to shade

"PPSSSHHH! Are you kidding me!?" rainbow Dash exclaimed "I define speed... so of course i can distract them."

A smirk edged its way onto her face.

It was then she noticed Applejack was still asleep. That tore it, Applejack never sleeps in. She had to think of something.

 

"Shade... *cough* ah-ahchooo...." Fluttershy was a terrible actor. "I'm not feeling... So well. To go in the city, I mean..." She faked another cough. "Applejack said she'd watch over me, to make sure I... Didn't develop a fever..." She looked up at the Pegasus with her big blue eyes.

parso trotted quietly through the streets of canterlot, sure the AK's 17mm bullet could penetrate multiple targets, it was also very loud which could be a real problem with zomponies. he climbed up a rainwater downpipe on a building and stood on the roof, observing a lightly hoarded path with a pair of binoculars

"this place is a bucking maze!"

he growled through his teeth

Twilight: I hope Celestia, shining armor, are ok... I know this town like the back of my hoove... Follow me... We wellget to the castle in no time...

 

Shade looks in the sky... Still lots of zompegesi in the air...

"But I..." Fluttershy knew the odds. More ponies were going to need her in Canterlot, Applejack was the only pony here in need, but she WAS in need. "Okay... I'll go. Just let me get my bag..." She trotted off while the others entered Canterlot. She grabbed her bag, then headed towards Applejack. "I know that this might hurt..." She took out the half bottle of isopropyl she had from Shade's 'operation'. She then pressed the soaked rag on Applejack's ankle, cleaning it as best she could. She then took out one of her gauss strips and began wrapping her ankle in it. "I'm sorry I can't do more Applejack..." She finished wrapping her ankle. "But the others need me too..."

 

She then caught up with the others, the zompegasai in the air put her on edge, but she kept close to Twilight, Shade, and Rarity. "I- I hope that Rainbow Dash is doing okay..." Fluttershy said, her gaze on the skies.
