Parso sat on the train reading through his published book about the first outbreak. sometimes he didnt like his book as it reflected bad memories but there were still good ones there. looking around the train carriage he noticed shade walking back in with rarity, maybe they had to use the bathroom

Once the train stopped at canterlot.... The ponys dashed to canterlot castle to meat with Celestia...

 

They got up to the castle door where Celestia was waiting for them...

 

Twilight: princes Celestia! We came as soon as we got your letter...

Celestia: I'm glad your here twilight... But you must speak to Luna about this...

 

Luna walked into the room...

 

Luna: I know the source where the zomponies are comeing from...

Shade: where are they comeing from Luna?

Fluttershy stood in shock of what was just said. 'Zomponies?!' The thought raced inside of her head. 'But.... How? We fixed everything?!' She looked to her friends. "Did.... Did you all know that this was about.... Th-... That this was about th-" she was beginning to whimper, she couldn't handle another outbreak like the one before, all that death and destruction, who cares if everything was set back right? She still had the memories of that horrible day.

 

"Nu- No....!" Fluttershy was in complete and utter despair at the situation.

"sorry, fluttershy, we didnt want to tell you incase you got too scared. though this time, we have the elements and knowledge in advance of this outbreak. so there should be no deaths"

parso tried to reassure fluttershy, maybe she might calm down a little

Luna: any ways... The source of the zomponies is from a pony named unzom... Me and my sister defeated him along time ago... But... He aperently has come back... Now a year after the first invasion... He had made the zomponies more powerful and dangerous... I fear the elements of harmony... And the 2 elements of life we have might not be enough to defeat unzom...

Rainbow dash's egotistical mind had known no boundaries before this... she knew she would blurt something out, and she knew she shouldn't. But for some reason, she did anyways.

"HA! The elements? Not strong enough!?" Rainbow Dash chortled "I'm all we're gonna need to take on some dead guy"

"so how else can we end these outbreaks?"

parso asked Luna and he stood next to shade with a wing over her back

"i mean there must be someway to stop it all"

Parso really wasnt in the mood to go on another zompony massacre but he knew he had to in order to survive

Fluttershy stood there trembling, she caught every other word in the conversation, but she was drifting in and out at too fast a pace. Finally she had a thought.

 

"Twilight.... *tears streamed down her cheeks* have you ever read anything about this... Unzom?" This was weird, although she sounded calm, her tears were pouring like rivers. Usually when Fluttershy cried she was to choked up to even squeak out something she wanted to say.

Luna: well we would need to find the location of the other elements... And find the righ pony... But that my be to slow going.. For every night... Unzoms power grows... And the zomponys minds get smarter...

 

Twilight: any idea on where the elements can be found?

Luna: absolutely no idea...

Twilight: we'll then... I guess I should hi the...

 

Just then an explosion happens outside the castle followed by more and more...

 

Celestia: oh no.. We might be to late

 

Luna: hmm... Ok everypony.. I'm going to open a warp gate to somewhere out of this... Me and my sister will hold every thing off! GET IN

Rainbow Dash hopped into the gate with everypony

"this is it!" she thought to herself, she didn't dare make a sound.

Split focus was visiting canterlot, looking for some replies to do some new add-ons to his house. He was perusing a shop when a violent explosion hit about a block from the store. He dashed outside to see what was happening...

Another explosion blew up a shop nearby; he could hear something from the castling charging up...then an explosion no less than twenty feet from his possition threw him into the shop window and the roof collapsed on him.

Darkness...

parso jumped into the gate, holding shades hoof. the place where they landed was bright it was taking him long to get his eyes to focus properly, he also felt woozy from the travel and decided to sit down. damn apocalypse, had to rupture his lifestyle for the second time

Shade: il stay here and help defend!

Twilight: no shade... We need your help! Come on!

 

Twilight and rarity jump into the gate...

Shade hesitating on what to do... Luna was struggling to keep the gate up...

Luna: GO!!! They need you!

 

Shade: alright... Fair well cousin...

 

Shade jumps into the portal and the portal expires...

 

Shade landed in a tundra with every other pony...

Shade seemed dazed after going through the gate...

"shade, you alright?"

parso said as he helped her up onto her hooves

"what do you think we do now?"

he looked around to find anything of interest in the tundra, but he couldnt see very far from where they were situated

"its so foggy here, i cant make heads or tails of it"

"A tundra... it had to be a TUNDRA!!!" shouted rainbow dash. She stormed to herself a little bit then sat on the ground with sigh. "We better start thinking of something, or we will die out here"

The wind picked up and visibility was 0, they could only hear each other.

Split focus woke up under the crushing structure, he couldn't see a thing. He tried to move himself from the debris but to no avail.

The screaming had ceased from Canterlot. He assumed few made it through the ordeal.

"How long have i been out?" he thought to himself "more importantly... i need to get out of here"

He tried to move again and pain shot up from his leg, it was crushed, luckily he couldn't see the damage of the leg under the concrete.

He wanted to scream but he couldn't let out more than a whisper

It was agony...

Shade: I don't know what to do... I don't know where to start...

The fog was thick that shade got a little bit scared...

 

Twilight: il try a werlwind spell...

 

Twilights horn glowed.. But nothing happened...

 

Shade: well I would say go to canterlot and get the elements... But I don't even know where we are...

Rainbow Dash could see Twilight's horn through the fog.

"Hey everypony! Gather around Twilight!" She shouted as she made her way towards twilight.

Split focus was biting his lip until it bled.

He could hear some steps around the shop

"survivors? rescuers? enemies?" he thought to himself. He held his breath, though he didn't have much of a choice.

"hey, its ok, we'll find a way out of here, I think we should head in that direction"

parso points a hoof leading south, if he remembered equestrian geography the tundras were normally situated in north equestria

he gives her a comforting nuzzle on the neck and regroup with the others

shade lights up her horn and starts walking in the direction that parso pointed to...

twilight with her horn lit up as well.... followed shade...

 

shade walking in the fog started thinking...: this was going to be an awesome day... if parso sayed yes.... sigh* now we gotta deal with getting new elements and getting back the ones we have.... even so... we might half to deal with zomponies again

 

shade: why... why dose this half to happen?...

 

shade leaked a tear...

 

shade: the thought of canterlot going up in flames is just... and to top it off we have zomponies again... that might me stronger...

 

more tears fall out of shades eye

 

 

twilight talks to rarity

 

twilight: was with shade, she seems stronger than this...

rarity: she had "plans" for today...

he put his comforting wings over her again and wiped away her tears, she seemed so happy before they went into canterlot castle. she hadn't felt this sad since the last outbreak and was starting to worry about her

Shade leans her head on parso and continues to walk...

 

The fog began to clear up... And shade sees an old stone temple...

 

Shade: wow... Look at that... Should we go in?

Rarity: uhg... Count me out.. That place could be calling with spiders...

Twilight: Iv never read anything on a temple being here... Hm... In fact... Where is here?

Well... We should go check it out

"Are you two done making googly eyes? We have an adventure to take on!" She said sarcasm as she leaped from the ground.

Split focus held his breath for what seemed to be forever. The footsteps were now on the rubble above him.

His lungs screamed for air, so he decided that being taken out of this rubble was more important than if it were an zompony above him.

"...H..Hello..." he let out.

The footsteps stopped above him....

"haha remember last year RD? i said the exact same thing to you and split"

parso laughed at rainbow dash's complaining about him and shade. they all stood before the temple, unsure if they should enter or not, there might be something good in there, but also full of traps like a daring doo book

Shade wasn't thinking about traps... She was thinking about the ring... And the future...

 

Shade just walks into the temple hoping for something good...

 

She keeps walking deeper into the temple... Twilight walked up to shade..

 

Twilight: shade!... I remember reading something about this temple...

It holds some special stone carving...

 

Shade: what's so special about this stone?

Twilight: no ponys knows because this place is riged...

 

Shade steps on a trip wire... And poison darts start shooting out of a wall cloce to the ponys...

 

Twilight: traps...

Shade: that was cloce...

Parso turns to rarity

"you know that gem finding spell you do, would you be able to reveal trap triggers before we stumble on one?"

he knew that traps werent gems but it was at least worth a shot, who knows maybe this would work and the temple would be a walk in the park

"Hey!" she snapped back then continued to mumble to herself.

"That reminds me... where is split?" she said. She knew asking that would get her a lot of crap from parso but she didn't care.

The debris above Split Focus began to shift.

"This is it..." he thought to himself

The rocks now being moved violently. Suddenly the rocks above him moved to show the sky, he flinched expecting zomponies, but instead Luna peered into his hole. She surprised him...

She said nothing but put her hoof to her mouth and motioned for him to come out.

He couldn't climb out due to his leg... He looked down now able to see the injury, and quickly averted his eyes. There wasn't anything in equestria that could be done to save his leg.

Lucky for him he could use his wings to fly and flop on the pile near luna.

There were zomponies everywhere, they needed to sneak out and fast.
