Toughbrony20 24 September 18, 2012 Share September 18, 2012 What's next in terms of season 2? I just finished watching 'May the best pet win' and the episode with those heroes ruining RD reputation, and I must say those 2 have to be by far the WORST episodes I've seen so far, will the next 2 episodes be any good? RarityBestPony 54 September 18, 2012 Share September 18, 2012 Well, as far as most bronys are concerned Mare Do Well is almost unanimously considered the worst episode. Although May The Best Pet Win is a fantastic episode and is actually my favorite, however i think some people dont like the song, oh well. Anyway, Yes there are some amazing episodes still to come, like Sweet and Elite (not sure your opinion on rarity, but this is another favorite of mine), Hearths Warming Day is fantastic, The Last Roundup, Super Speedy Cider Squeezy 6000, Hurricane FLuttershy, not to mention the incredible season finale 2 parter. But yes better episodes lie ahead, in fact many people consider Season 2 as being better than season 1, and i certainly have to agree.
Spaghetti 159 September 18, 2012 Share September 18, 2012 How can you say those two episodes are the worst so far when we had to endure Owl's Well That Ends Well and Look Before You Sleep in season 1? Granted, opinions are opinions, but those two episodes are not that bad at all. The finale will make up for anything you haven't come to appreciate so far.
duidamasterXD 9,627 September 18, 2012 Share September 18, 2012 Don't worry about it, IMO there's a small lull in the middle of season 2 but it gets fantastic again towards the end. Episodes 15 and 16 are two of my favorites
AntiDentite 37 September 18, 2012 Share September 18, 2012 I'd only advise you to watch the unedited version of The Last Roundup. Trust me, it'll be far more fulfilling if you watch the episode in its true form.
silvadel 1,393 September 18, 2012 Share September 18, 2012 (edited) Episode 15 is where it really gets its flank in gear -- then it is a wild ride... As for Mare do Well, I actually like that episode. It isnt the best one by any means but I wouldnt put it in the "worst episode" category. Sweet and Elite is a rarity episode -- not a bad rarity episode but whether or not you like it depends on who you like. But eeew... yes you are hitting the worst stretch of episodes in the series... If you are an applejack fan, feel free to skip to episode 14, if not to episode 15. You can go back and watch 9 through 13 (10 through 13 if you like rarity as 9 isnt that bad) at the end. NavelColt 22,881 September 18, 2012 Share September 18, 2012 I can understand the annoyance with The Mysterious Mare Do Well, it's in the lower half of my favorite episodes for sure, but I don't see a reason to not like the May the Best Pet Wins episode, unless you're an irrational Rainbow Dash hater who chooses to loath any episode focusing around her. It was cute, a very interesting plot, and it was fun seeing all the animals and how they acted. Plus, Tank was cute and it was a very satisfying ending to see Dash choose him in the end. Also, I don't see the point in taking the time to wait for people to respond, when you can look up summaries of the episodes yourself on any number sites, some of which that go in depth like the actual MLP Wiki. Or, you could just go watch them on Youtube.
Rarietty 632 September 18, 2012 Share September 18, 2012 (edited) I was really bored with the series during much of season 2, I remember. I never liked Rainbow Dash, so she was really getting on my nerves. Also, there was a lack of songs. Then again, I watched the show more out of boredom anyways throughout season 1 and the beginning of season 2. This continued until I think Hurricane Fluttershy (seriously, it took that long) when I realized how awesome the show truly was and how much the show improved since the first season (and even completely changed my opinion of Rainbow Dash, but Read it and Weep also helped.) Also, Canterlot Wedding. Although looking at summaries is a good idea, I'd recommend not judging an episode before watching it. I had no expectations of episodes like Hurricane Fluttershy, MMMystery and Lesson Zero and those all ended up being some of my favorites. Seriously, don't skip any episodes, even if the summary puts you off. Everyone reacts differently to episodes, and who knows, maybe the episode you were thinking of skipping could turn out to be your favorite. silvadel 1,393 September 18, 2012 Share September 18, 2012 I kind of disagree with the above. I mean there is nothing wrong with watching the episodes a little out of order -- especially not THOSE episodes. There isnt anything there that not seeing them would make you lament it later. Plus if you are already feeling jaded, why reinforce that with other weak episodes. Advance token to episode 15 and then when you pass canterlot wedding, go back and watch the missed ones. Zygen 6,066 September 19, 2012 Share September 19, 2012 I agree don't skip any episodes, I actually skipped over a few episodes first time running through all the episodes. And I feel like I missed out. Don't judge a book by its cover. Afterall if you always judged the book by its cover you wouldn't be watching the awesomeness MLP So yeah just keep watching Thanks to Gone Airbourne for the awesome sig!
