You'll have better luck downloading an ISO file of the game (the data straight off an actual PS2 disc) and applying a patch to that file, then using some particular software to burn it to a DVD which the PS2 will then hopefully read without error. I've tried downloading straight patches from sites like PirateBay and they are very broken.

Yeah, i have to download the ISO's only, i play on emulator because my PS2 is dead.

But still i haven't found any patches for an ISO of KHFM.

Try under "KH1FMJPNA" or "KH1ENGFM" when you go on a patch, torrent, or ROM site. The one I have I got it from KH3.net way back in 2008 but I don't believe they still have their sections for those open due to legal issues.

However I am not happy about the inclusion of Re: Chain of Memories. This was, in my oppinion, one of the worst Kingdom Hearts games ever made. Almost as bad as the gameplay mechanics of 358/2 Days. I hated the card system with every fiber of my being, that crap doesn't belong in an action RPG as it negates some of the need for skill and knowing how to dodge shit. All you had to do was "0" card the shit out of your opponents OMG-PWN-Your-Face LOL moves.

Am I the only person who liked the card system and Re:COM in general? In my opinion it required more strategy because you had to construct your decks carefully and know when to time things. Spamming attacks in COM will almost certainly get you killed. And besides, NOBODY has that many zero cards unless they level grind like crazy. laugh.png

Besides, though the side world plots were bad, the main plot was interesting without being overly convoluted. It was the only game I really liked Axel in, and the scheming and stuff was just fun. Riku was an excellent show in this game, and Riku Replica has to be one of my favorite characters in the entire series.

(Back on topic, I guess it'll be nice to see the HD stuff on Youtube, because all I've got is a PS2 and a DS)

I don't understand why many people hated Re: CoM. First of all, it was a spin-off, which normally doesn't use the basic hack-n-slash formula found in the main 2 installments. Secondly, it was a creative idea and at the same time was inspired by classic games such as Final Fantasy Tactics to come up with a system that was new, challenging, but overall familiar.

I mean, sure, story was kind of lame and the world layouts were boring, but I just happened to enjoy the combat system because it took a very short time to get used to but in other aspects it was a challenge to see what kind of cards you would be up against with major bosses. Also, opening doors with room cards that added certain elements onto the world field was a clever idea and upped the mystery factor even more.

I honestly think next to Dream Drop Distance that it's the best spin-off game out of the series. Days' battle system was stiff as hell, Coded was just a minigame compilation, and BBS had an awkward combat system that required a lot of understanding.

BBS is one of my favorite kingdom hearts games I loved the story and all the characters. The combat was awesome, the board game thing was kinda useless and it has good difficulty.
