Fallout Equestria RP (I mean, Why not right?)

(I actually am the opposite of Slendermane. I've played FO3, New Vegas, but haven't read Fallout: Equestria. I keep promising myself I will but I'm too absorbed by Skyrim)

 

The bell rung in Midnight Veil's psychology office. It signalled lunch time, arguably the most boring part of Midnight's day. The pitter patter of hooves walking down in unison to the Atrium was enough to make him sit tight until the sound died down. He sighed and grudgingly packed up his research notes before heading down the short corridor to the Atrium.

 

As he walked down the corridor, alone, Midnight levitated a black notebook from his saddlebag. He opened them and started to admire at his own handiwork.

 

Inside the notebook were cryptic symbols, written in several incomprehensible languages, and several hundred notes pointing to each symbol and analyzing it with great detail. Midnight smiled. "Oh Mindscape...how you make every day interesting," He said in a somewhat sing-song voice.

 

Finally, Midnight arrived at the Atrium, got his food, and sat down next to Melody and Gizmo. "Good day," Midnight said in a deadpanned voice.

"Of course not - me and you both know that nothing big ever happens here. Just some old mare who had a headache. Seriously, since when did Medical have to deal with petty headaches?"

 

Melody merely glanced at Gizmo as he took a seat. This trick had gotten old and its effect on her had worn off several weeks ago, though some of the ponies who wandered into the atrium still regarded this phasing with surprise. She pointed at Midnight's notebook as he sat at the table.

 

"That, on the other hoof. That is interesting. Any insane pony come in to the office today?"

he began thinking to him self look at all these ponies, they take me for granted, they dont realize how important i am, this place would fall apart without me! oh who am i kidding, im not important, im very replaceable

Cypheron started to walk towards the dining hall. He knew that he had to hurry up with the food since he had alot of work to catch up too. He grabbed a tray and a cupple of appels and began to search for place to sit. He found a place in the middel of the room. He put his tray on the table and reached into his right pocket. He picked out a Pony bobble head, he called it his lucky head.

Gizmo shrugged and put the orb in his pouch. He looked at the book and tried to discern what it all meant before shoving some apples in his mouth. The symbols meant nothing to him no matter how often he got Midnight to explain them. "What do those symbols mean again?"

(No worries Vicke - I saw one misspelled word in that post 'middel' should be 'middle.' I think you will be ok, I have played with a lot worse. You speak a lot better English than I speak German!)

(Vicke, you can only get better by posting. You're not all bad and I've played with lots of Rpers before. In fact, you're better than I was when I first started RPing)

 

Midnight turned to Melody and sighed. "Just one in the morning and he's one of my regulars. It's boring when you have to deal with the same case all the time," Midnight said with a hint of disappointment in his voice. In Midnight's mind, freedom was the greatest thing you could bless on a pony and entering the Mindscape of a pony is just enough to alleviate the fact that he was trapped in the Stable.

 

As he started to eat his bland apples, Gizmo chimed in with a question, looking at his open notebook. Midnight traced his hoof over the symbols. "The symbols are a sort of map of the Mindscape realm. It's written in an ancient, dead language to prevent my patients from acting on the symbols. The only reason I wrote anything in Equestrian at all was for the sake of my own sanity."

"Have you ever just delved into someones mind as they slept?" Melody asked suspiciously. "I sometimes have a feeling that I'm being watched at night."

Cypheron quicky finished his food. He took his Pony Bobble head and put it back into his pocket. ''Got alot of work to do'' he said to his fellow ponies siting around him before he took off. Cypheron began to slowly toward walk his office.

Gizmo nodded and again tried to read the notebook. When he was a quarter done reading all the Equestrian on the first page, he had a massive migraine. "Too complicated for me and I'm an engineer. I have to hand it to you, this shit is confusing as all hell and you still understand it." After he heard Melody's question, he asked his own, "Have you ever delved into the mind of a pony that's sane and with no problems? Oh, and you said your patient had a headache. Did you cure it?" He rubbed his templates as he spoke.

Midnight finished his apple and levitated it to the disposal area. He studied the notebook for a few seconds after Gizmo started reading and gave up part-way. Expected considering the notebook took him months to make anyways.

 

Melody asked another question after a little bit, "Have you ever just delved into someones mind as they slept?" Melody asked suspiciously. "I sometimes have a feeling that I'm being watched at night."

 

A small, amused grin appeared on Midnight Veil's face for a second before disappearing. "No. When you dream, the Mindscape I visualize changes so fast that I'm either thrown out or unable to even see the Mindscape. The only way I could do what you described is if I anchor your mind down to one thought and that takes more magical energy than any normal Unicorn has."

 

Midnight cleared his throat and closed his notebook. "But enough about my day job, how is yours going Melody?"

Autumn sat down with his lunch, but his mind was on other things. I told them I wouldn't make a very good teacher. First day and the students already seem like too much for me to handle. He brought up his calender on his Pipbuck. I have no idea what to start with. An entertaining short story might be good, to let the kids see books as more than just homework. But then again, the epic will take forever, and I need to get them started on it right away. He sighed. I knew I should have been an archivist.

 

(Out of Character: I have a quick question for Authetius. Was there any experiment conducted with this Stable that we should know about, or will we find out latter?)

(nah, nothing special here. I plan on making Vault 33 a control for the other experiments).

 

"Boring. I'm pretty sure that the Stable would get along well enough without an infirmary. If you meant music - Overmare has another concert scheduled tomorrow with me and fortissimo. This time we're going back to the same old pieces from before the war. We need more new material..."

 

She took another bite out of an apple. Almost jokingly, she added

 

"How about you Gizmo - any word on how long we have 'till the power gives out completely?"

Gizmo scratched his head before responding to Melody, "Well, the reactor is heating up. It has been for a bit of time. As far as I see, it should be fine though. On your question though, we'll lose power when the reactor blows, whenever that is." He yawned, obviously not caring about it and his tone stayed nonchalant through the entire thing.

 

He munched on an apple and continued speaking, "Do any of you ever wonder what's outside the vault?"

Autumn looked up from his work when he overheard Gizmo. He didn't know the pony well, but like most of the ponies of the stable he had seen him around from time to time.

 

"That is a good question. It could be anything. Celestia and Luna could have created a paradise outside, or it could be just an empty void. Who can really say?"

 

Autumn was alway wondering that very question. One of the reasons he loved reading so much was because it gave him a chance to escape from the same bland, grey walls of the Stable he had seen for his entire life. What is it like out there?

(OK - I basically blew it IRL. As awesome as being in the herd has been for my life and it has drawn me out of a long depressive state and let me meet a bunch of awesome new friends both online and offline, it has caused me a couple issues as well. Right about now, everything is catching up to me. I'll be out for 2-3 days while I go on an all out homework spree to catch up on 2-3 months of work in all my classes. Luckily, I'm naturally smart enough to pull this off without a hitch, but it will required little to no contact with the outside of my own thoughts. After that, I will be posting actively again, but it may not be full steam as I have a bunch of other curve balls life has decided to throw my way - expect me back to running this by next week however. If there is something I'm good at, it's picking up the pieces. I just hope that when I come back, you will all be willing to continue this RP - don't lose interest! I have big things planned for this RP already at this point!)

(okay guys, let's fuck this up beyond all recognition. I'll pos once or twice, maybe somehow interact with one of you. My posts will get weirder and weirder, but you guys need to just go with it.

 

When auth comes back, he'll be like "wtf happened here?" and you'll answer something like "well, Evilshy posted some weird stuff, and at first we just rolled with it, but then he started getting more and more into character, and I think he actually went crazy. So we decided to keep the RP going just to see what he would do."

 

So, is this plan a go? We'll have to edit this and all posts discussing it so there's no trace, obviously.)

If it isnt too late then here is my character description:

 

Name:Strong Hooves

 

Species: Earth pony

In the stable: Yes

 

Description:Taller than the average pony (about Big Macintosh size) and very strongly built, he has tan colored fur, pitch black mane and tail, green eyes and has a celtic shield symbol cutie mark

 

Personality: kind, respectful, passive aggressive (though when the situation demands it, he will take action and can be dangerous)

 

Strengths: VERY strong and is dangerous in close combat with melee, can carry very large and heavy loads and weapons, prefers rapid fire battle saddles that dont require too much precision, high endurence in battle or travel, surprisingly logical in situations

 

Weaknesses: Slow due to his size (He isnt fat, just big), poor shot with smaller weapons, though logical he tends to have trouble with "thinking outside the box", he tends to want to try and help everyone, putting him in danger unintentionally

 

Other: he tends to keep to himself, he wants to have friends but he would rather them come to him first (he is afraid of making the wrong choice and that he believes the right friend would eventually find him). He likes singing, but doesnt ever tell anypony, he is very protective of his friends (well, the friends he makes later on)
