Thinking ahead, he turned toward the locked door and used his passcard to open the door, that way that would be one less thing to wait on while the others got here... They alerted every single guard of my presence, and Lunar started to run faster. Lunar knew there was only one thing to do. His horn was glowing, and in a big black shadow, Lunar was gone. Once he was finished, he turned to the ponies that had arrived so far, "Now who wants to try and hack this thing?" he asked... Shopkeepers closed their shops, and many grabbed weapons and began shouting and running towards the exits. He spotted the pony he had spoken to earlier loading a large rifle. He ran over to him and called out over the noise. "Hey friend! What's going on?" The pony looked up with a grin. "That siren means ponies have been spotted leaving the vault! Nows the time!" he finished loading his rifle, cocked, and began shouting with the rest of the ponies. He paused for a second. "Hey, you're a good guy. If you wanted to come along and grab a few things for yourself, I'll vouch for you." he said. Sigh looked away so that he wouldn't see the angry joy on his face. "no no, I'd rather not get involved in a possible fight right now. I've got places to go, anyway." The pony nodded and ran off. The camp was now inhabited by mares, foals, and the few remaining confused travelers who had been trading or resting when the sirens went off. Now thats a distraction, he thought happily. The ponies who lived in the camp were all looking through binoculars or talking excitedly about the potential fight. Nopony paid attention to Sith as he casually grabbed a few clips of ammo and loaded his newly purchased pistol. Time to rob the robbers. He ducked into a shack behind the gun dealers and began to look through boxes, crates, anything he could find. He pocketed a small bag of money, and found a few good apples. He walked out of the shack, casually biting one of the apples, and walked to the next shack. Apparently, somepony saw him this time, because a mare and a young colt appeared at the doorway, glaring angrily at him. "Just what do you think you're doing!" the mare said in a strong tone. Sigh didn't look up as he continued to dig through a drawer filled with various items. "well, you ponies are here to introduce the stablers to the cold, hard facts of life in the wastes, so I thought I'd do the same to you." he took a small pendant with a jewel in it, then stood up and pointed his gun at the mare. "sometimes, your shit gets stolen." he said with a smile. The mare scoffed. "It's not loaded. Nothing here is." Sigh lowered the gun and pretended to study it, puzzled. The colt, who had been silent the whole time, suddenly found his voice. "Hey! That's my pendant! Give it back!" he yelled. Sigh frowned at the gun, then pointed it at the colt and shot him between the eyes. The mare screamed and dropped to her colts side. Sigh continued to frown at the gun. "Hmm." he said as he stepped over the mare sobbing on the ground. "I guess it was loaded." He shot the mare in the back of the head for good measure. He walked out of the shack to see a that a crowd had gathered, and everypony was staring at him. He looked around for a second, set off a large explosion in the middle of the crowd, and casually started to walk towards the hill where the fighters had gathered. Signature now 99% less edgy! Authetius 30 January 16, 2012 Author #148 Share January 16, 2012 The vault door opened up right out of the side of a mountain, a little road lead from it down into the distance. By the sunlight, it was approximately mid-day, much brighter than that of the dimmed stable lights, but filtered by dark grey storm clouds as far as the eye could see. The sky seemed to go up forever in contrast to the short stable ceiling and the air seemed almost wrong, not as pure and clean as the stable air. Skeletons of long dead ponies who had tried to make it into the stable too late littered the area every here and there and a few dark and dirty puddles were spread here and there on the relatively flat landscape. The little grass and few trees that clung to life were dry and dark colored, a stark contrast to the pictures from the pre-war books. (give me a moment, just threw this together - this over-rules anything anypony had said about the landscape earlier, except Evilshy. The sun didn't bother him as he was used to staring at the brightness of the reactors and generators when they were working a little harder than usual. "So this is the outside world. Interesting."
