ok for people who don't know about this game it's called Realm of the Mad God or RotMG and it is an Action RPG that is multi-player and is extremely fun to play if you haven't tried it here is a link to it, it is free and you could play it in browser or download it on steam

after you have played it for a bit or if you have been playing it for a while already, you could name your favorite classes, weapons, and/or items and just have general discussions about the game

I tried this game with a friend once. It's absolutely crazy

So much going on at once, and when you die you lose your character so you have to start all over again. It was just too crazy for us so we didn't play it again. Very interesting concept though

yea the game can get very frustrating at times especially when you first start and lose your first character but as you play and get better it really becomes fun

Losing everything upon death sounds like a refreshing change of pace. It would actually make you care about dying knowing that you can't simply respawn. As long as the difficulty is reasonable and everything is balanced so people aren't getting hosed all over the place, it sounds like a good concept. Since it's free I may check it out.

 

Or is it one of those games where you can't really go anywhere or get any worthwhile equipment unless you pay?

no you can't buy equipment you can however buy an extra slot so you can have 2 characters which is cool and by the way if you do play it make sure you put really high level items in the vault so you keep them safe until you get to a level you are comfortably taking the risk of losing items at
