How you became a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: My girlfriend watched the show. And then I watched the show.

Tell you about myself?! Let's see...

 

I'm a musician, specialty is metal, best known for my video game music remixes. I currently have two accepted tracks for OverClocked ReMix, where as EqD has said, the "quality-control levels of their judges panel is legendary". I created one of the most popular Battlefield theme metal remixes on YouTube, one of my tracks was included in the Street Fighter 25th Anniversary Collector's Set, I contributed eight tracks to the only Dynamite Headdy remix album in existence... My VGM remixing has taken me places, but where it's about to take me next is on a crusade to prove that not all brony metal has to be badly produced. The world desperately needs more good brony music. Especially metal.

 

I also do some original music on the side. My primary project combines traditional metalcore with chiptunes.

 

Outside of music, I'm a college student majoring in Computer Science, despite my internal insistence that I should be majoring in Audio Engineering, and my girlfriend's insistence that I should be majoring in Law. I build computers for my friends because they don't know how and they'd just as quickly blow $2,500 on a Facebook machine with an Apple logo on the side of it and not know any better. I play more video games than any reasonable person should, and my favorite video game of all time is Sonic 3 & Knuckles. Yes, that's one game; if you play only one or the other, you're only playing half of an amazing game. I'm a Christian, but definitely not in the typical Evangelistic sense. I'm a Nerfaholic, seriously, I geek out about Nerf like every new blaster release is Christmas.

 

My pony collection currently only consists of the Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash from the "favorite collection", a bunch of blind-bag ponies including three different versions of best pony AKA Pinkie Pie, and a brushable Sweetie Belle I have affectionately decided is actually Sweetie Bot.

Welcome to the forums! It's a pretty neat thing, like an aspen tree. And I'm gonna take a stab and assume you aren't a Mac fan. If so, THANK YOU. People like you and I are too few and far between.

Welcome, even though I actually haven't heard any of your remixes. I used to go on OCRemix a lot to get new Sonic remixes but I have kinda just... stopped using it lately, since all the remixes have been from games I've never played...

 

But nonetheless it's an honor to have a remixer on here.

 

I am letterONE, the forum's local Sonic (and I just now noticed that you said S3's your favorite game evar... so AWESOME!), Zelda, Mario, and Thrice (which is a band) fan. I also do art and music and crap.
