How much will you pay for show quality sculptures?

I see the numbers ranging anywhere from hundreds to thousands on the Internet for custom made sculptures but those are probably bought by the richer people.How much is the average middle class brony willing to pay?

10-20£ for a small sculpture and 20-40 for a big one. I think I'm pretty cheap... XD

depends on the size and attention to detail. under 50 bucks is fair for most things like that.

For a small fluttershy one (a foot long or less) I'll pay $25, I'd pay a few hundred for one that's over 5 feet.

For a small one I'd say 25$, but for a larger one I would probably go up to 75$, Yeah I probably wouldn't go any higher unless it was somepony I REALLY wanted.

If it was a life-size Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy or Vinyl Scratch, I'd pay up to about... 200, 300 bucks. If it was a small figure (like the Vinyl Dashie and Derpy figures) around 20-30.

Nailed the price point. Their target demographic is dedicated, but not loaded with cash to burn.

 

Statuettes and stuff are cool.

 

By the way, it would be very interested to see some collector figures with ball-jointed articulation and switch-out heads with different expressions and such. Basically like Kaiyodo's Revoltech, but with more seamless/hidden articulation lines. That way, you can pose your Pinkie in the "Watch Out" pose.

what sort of sculpture are you talking about? clay, wood, stone? painted, unpainted?

 

many different kinds of sculpture out there, some much more time consuming to make than others.

depends, If it was only a medium sized figure maybe $50 bucks. However a figure of Octavia.......Maybe I would only go up to $90 to $100. I freaking love Octavia.

id be willing to spend extra on figures/statues that actually look half way decent. MLP uses a style of art that doesnt translate too well into 3d form, so finding nice looking figures can be a real challenge. just my .02 cents

I have no idea what would be a fair price for that kinda thing, and to be honest I never really buy anything pony related...

But if I was buying something like that, and it was a sculpture of fluttershy, I'd pay around 25-50 bucks for it. Depending on how good it is if its colored what its made out of ect.

Dunno if I could see myself paying much more then 50 though, who knows. I'm only 15 anyways, so I don't exactly have an excessive income.
