I made this Jack-o-Lanturn of Pinkie Pie last night. Kept me up til 1:00am!!

 

(I took multiple pictures of it because I couldn't get a perfect shot)

Yes. That is awesome! How did you do it without actually cutting all the way through to the inside? I like the way you did it though. Very spooky! Have a happy halloween yourself!

I did it by not cutting though all the way, and by wedging the pieces out of the surface of the pumpkin. The deeper you make it, the brighter it is.

 

 

My first jack-o-lanturn without any help... turned out better than I thought!

That is amazing! I wish I could carve pumkins like that, but sadly, I can't/haven't done it enough to be able to. You should really make more. I think a Nightmare Moon done in the same style would look great.
