I catch myself using Pony lingo in everyday situations.

 

 

The other day at work a manager asked me if I could do something and I said "Okey Dokey Lokey!"

 

Or, "Pony, you can't be serious" and "No, Sugarcube, 25th Street East is near the Target."

 

Anyone else catch themselves doing this?

I don't do that but I joke around using pony memes when I'm with friends who also happen to be bronies. I'm more of an introvert though, and don't really talk to people all that much.

Not really, as English is not my main language.

 

Even if it was, I'm sure I wouldn't go around saying things like "what the hay?" or stuff.

I say Yup and Nope a lot, but I did that years before I watched the show. Needless to say when I saw Big Macintosh I was amused. I've had to stop myself from saying "everypony" once or twice but other than that no. Might start saying Okie Dokie Loki though since it's fun to say

Very rarely when speaking English to friends on the internet though only intentionally to joke. I never use pony lingo when speaking Danish as that would just be plain weird.

speaking to english friends (mainly on the internet) I use quotes if the fit (what the hay, sweet celestia, what in tarnation), with my best bro I exchange brohoofs (brofists, we both call it brohoof) in real life if awesomeness happens, for I´m german this is the only real show thing i can use

Well I dont speak it.... often..... but my mind has it like hardwired into my brain For example, I was taking a pop quiz in my history class, and the question was "Where was the constitution convention held?" The answers were as follows: (BTW, I dont remember the answers 100% So Im kinda just naming off states)

A: New York

B: Philadelphia

C: Pennsylvania

D: Utah

 

When I looked at that I didnt read "Philadelphia" I read "Fillydelphia" I did a huge double take, and I thought my teacher was a brony. Then I realized I read it wrong. Then I was sad

I've said "What in the hay?" more than once, let me tell you. I've also said, "In the name of Celestia" and "Somepony" too many times to count. It's growing on me man, I can't stop what I say.

After i failed a history test, my parents questioned me on what my excuse was.

my answer?

"I just dont know what went wrong"

Other than that ive said "okey dokey lokey" as well as "Somepony" almost subconciously.

I have said thing like "Okey Dokey Lokey" and "Needs to be about 20% cooler" but i say more 80s references than anything, things like, "Right On", or "Most Excellent"

When we have new people at work, and we get busy and I'm doing my thing and they want to help but it's too busy to show them how to properly do it and they are really just under foot asking if they can help I actually said "No! Nothing! In the name of Celestia, just stand there and do nothing."

Well i've said what the hay before.. but I kinda said that before.

I don't think I really purposely reference anything in the show, and if I do I don't acknowledge it or anything since nobody knows I'm a brony really.

The other day I pulled off a fluttershy when going for piano lessons. I was like "Mr. Haloquist, you're going to love me! I memorized the Pathetique Sonata 2nd movement!"

 

I've been also saying "What the hay!"

 

I also pulled off a derpy when I failed my math test. I was like "Gah! I just don't know what went wrong."

 

I've pulled off a Rarity when I was about to race my friends on a game. I was like "Oh...it is on!"

 

I've pulled off a lot more things, but this is all I can remember.

I find myself doing the Big Mac Eeyep sometimes... Other then that I don't catch myself useing pony lingo every where...

 

There was that one time when I said pony up boys... My friends thought it was the TF2 engi reference... It kind of was but I did have mlp on my mind..
