Harp returned with something for both of them."Um, i have something for you". Harp waited for his reply she quickly took sip from her drink. but when she did so she toke a sip out of the wrong glass, she had gotten vodka for her friend and soda for herself she hoped that this wouldn't make things strange.

"Well thank you." Dimitri took the drink and took a sip. "Soda?" He thought To himself. He didn't really mind, it's not like he asked for a specific drink or anything.

 

He was just happy to be surrounded by friends. A nice party will get him confidant and more social.

She looked at Dimitri."I am sorry i mixed up the drinks i was just so... ". The vodka hit her hard and she nod out this was her first time drinking it and probably be her last time to when she wakes up she'll vow to never again to drink vodka ever again, Harp was so embarrassed first she switched up the drinks now she gotten herself drunk.

"Crap, crap, crap. I am so late."

 

Star Keeper flew up to the door as fast as his wings could carry him. His blood surged through his body as he landed with a thud. He tried to catch his breath but nearly chocked. He made a mental note never to do that again.

 

"Crap, I only hope that I haven't missed too much, or that they don't even want me here anymore. What if they have uninvited me?" Star attempted to regain his composure. Sucking it up, he knocked on the door and awaited a response.

Flame stared at his drink. "Vodka and... Coffee ?" He said, taking another sip. "Funny, If somepony were to offer this to me at a bar I would say... no, that is disgusting... but this... this is kinda good." He finished the last bit in his cup. "If no pony minds... I may get another glass. Cherry... W-Would you like a refill ?" He asked, shyly.

Sky heard the door and walked over to answer it. "Ahh welcome. For a while then I thought you weren't coming." Sky greeted Star Keeper. Sky then levitated a drink over towards Star Keeper. "Here, try this." Sky said as he took a sip of his own." Sky then looked towards Krystal. "Are you okay?" He asked her.

Well, he seemed eager for him to try this drink. The smell was similar to that of a pub floor, but he would try it anyway. He quickly regretted his decision, spitting the drink back into it's cup. It tasted like a pub floor as well. Star didn't want to appear rude in front of his host, he couldn't. This was a rare opportunity to be invited to anything and he would try to enjoy it, even if parties weren't his thing.

"I-I think I'm fine, but thanks for the offer. I still haven't gotten you name," Cherry Blossom said to Flame Dancer, moving her hoof around the table to find her drink. "Though I'd appreciate it if you would help me find my drink. T-That is, if you want to, but you don't have to."

Flame picked up Cherry's drink and put it in her hooves. "I apologize... I am Flame Dancer, You can just call me Flame though." He smiled and trotted over to a table with a couple more drinks on it. "Hey sky... You dont mind if I grab another drink do ya ?" He asked, Eyeing the drinks.

"Oh, thank you." Cherry Blossom smiled as she recieved the drink back. After she took a quick sip, she said, "Flame Dancer? That's a really cool name! W-What do your parents do for a living?"

She was suddenly interested in conversing with this stallion, but it must have been some kind of social spark.

Flame grabbed a drink and sat down next to Cherry. "Well...My parents abandoned me after birth so I dont really know anything about them but I was found by a pony name Sunlight and he was a carpenter. He taught be a couple things about being a carpenter but I wasn't really interested in it so I started flying and that is now my job... sorda. What about you ? What do your parents do for a living ?" He asked, sipping his drink and placing it on the table.

She frowned a little, hearing his parents had left him as a foal, but she spoke up. "That's so sad, don't you want to see them? But was Sunlight a lot like a great father?" Cherry Blossom didn't want to be rude and talk about her own life without sympathy, but a very tragic thing for Flame Dancer.

Flame shrugged. "I used to want to see them, but I figured if they didn't want to be my parents then, Than I dont want them to be my parents at all... Sounds sad but Sunlight has been the best father I could ever ask for.

I used to find it upsetting to talk about, but now... I just dont feel any connection to my birth parents."

Cherry Blossom almost made a tear, but could relate to how she had a wonderful father as well. "D-Do you need a hug? I mean, it's only if you want one, because I feel pretty bad for you."

She held out her forelegs and was waiting for a reply from Flame Dancer. This is the least I can do she thought

Cloud Puff flew up to the door quietly. She took a second to recuperate on the front step before knocking lightly on the door. Cloud was already embarrassed, as she was very late. She waited by the door, wondering who had shown up, and who she knew. The light chattering she heard indicated the party had already started.

"I will always accept a hug." He said, leaning over and hugging Cherry. *This is the kindest mare I have ever met.* He thought. after a couple seconds that felt like a couple minutes, Flame leaned back. "T-Thank you for being so considerate Cherry." He said, smiling.

'Seems everypony else is occupied, I might as well answer it. I have nothing better to do.' Star Keeper carefully placed the drink he had no intention of consuming down on the table, trotting over to the door. Gingerly, he turned the handle and swung open the door. Outside stood a purple pegasus with a blue mane, a rather cute mare. She seemed in a good mood for the evening.

 

"S-sorry, um... come in." He tried not to appear to nervous but was failing on epic proportions. He needed a more social experience.

Sky slowly levitated a drink towards Flame and placed it on the table next to him he then looked into his eye's and nodded towards him. He didn't speak because he didn't want to interrupt him. He then heard the door, and walked over to it. He opened and saw Cloud Puff standing before him. "Hey, glad you could make it." Sky said as he levitated a drink towards Cloud Puff. "You look umm great by the way..."

"Oh. Hi! Thanks for letting me in... I was just wondering if I should knock again." Cloud said to the rather handsome stallion who had opened the door. "Who might you be?" *Oh my gosh. Seriously? Who might you be? You sound like Grandma Rainy!* Cloud Puff thought to herself. Here she was, at a party, and she was talking like she was, like, 70.

Star slowly awkwardly backed away from the two ponies, not wanting to come between their conversation. He should have just stayed home this evening, but nooo. He had to come out and have "fun". What a glorious decision that was. As Star Keeper left the two in the entrance way, he went to go inquire about some drinks that didn't taste like the inside of a waste disposal.

"Oh it's no problem, but I care about everypony and it makes me feel good to give a bit of words for others." she smiled and blushed a little after the hug. "T-Though, it's all I can give really, since I can't see at all," said Cherry Blossom, taking another gulp of the drink.

Dimitri awoke from his trance. He ended up finishing the whole bottle of liquor. It wouldn't do anything though, his tolerance for the stuff was high.

 

He was feeling a little funny though. He started to have doubts about himself. So instead of moping around he decided to...get more to drink...

"Thanks, me too. I was afraid I wouldn't make it." Cloud Puff took the drink, and said, " You look great too! How've you been?" She watched the stallion who let her in walk away, and decided she would go find him after her conversation with Sky was over, as the stallion had been the one to notice she was there.

Star didn't realize what was behind him. This seemed to happen with some frequency. As he backed away from the last conversation he successfully bumped into another one, literally. He found himself backing into Cherry Blossom, spilling her drink over himself. Now he smelt like a pub floor to add to his list of issues.

 

"S-sorry about that. Did you want me go and, um, get you another?" This was followed up with an awkward smile just to seal the deal; he was hopeless.

"I think in some ways... You see more than every pony in this room." He said, sipping his drink. *Oh Celestia... I hope that was the right thing to say.* He thought, taking a larger mouth full of the vodka mix.

then Star bumped into Cherry. "Oh dear... Let me just grab a cloth." He said, standing up and grabbing a cloth from the kitchen.
