Well, I can't pronounce Philidelphia properly anymore. Thankfully, nobody usually notices.

I usually try to avoid those moments. I change song lyrics, like "that foolish pony" to "foolish Celestia", so unless people know who Celestia is, then they won't notice.

This is your average, everyday annoying signature.

Are you seriously reading this?

Really?

Wow. I didn't think you'd actually waste enough time to get to the fourth line.

Or the fifth, for that matter. What, am I interesting or something?

I had a slightly uncomfortable moment today. I went to a thrift store with my mother, and after we went inside, we split off to go look at different areas of the store. Later, I headed back over to see what she was doing, and when I went down the aisle she was on, I saw her pick up a purple-colored plush toy and look over in my direction.

I quickly realized it was a Twilight Sparkle plush, and then I had an immediate surge of adrenaline, and I thought, "Oh, sh*t! She knows!"

She ended up putting it back without saying anything, but I stood there for a moment looking at it. It was only two bucks, and I was half-tempted to buy it.

I didn't, of course, because I'm a total chicken.

Well, I had another cringey one today.

My sister had just come back home from work, and she said to me, "Hey, you know what a brony is, right?"

I happened to be eating a sandwich at the time, and I damn well nearly choked on it when I heard the word "brony".

After I recovered, I just said, "uh... yeah?" But in my mind, I was thinking, "Ah, sh*t."

She continued, "Well today one of them came through my checkout line. He was wearing an MLP shirt and buying MLP merch that's clearly supposed to be for little girls."

I just nodded and smiled awkwardly, trying not to let my anxiety show. She continued to say that she was struggling not to laugh the entire time she was ringing him up, and after he left, she said she called over her coworker, told her what happened, and they both made fun of him.

By now, my hands were visibly shaking, my knees felt weak, and I felt like I was going to have a heart attack. So I quickly ended the conversation and got the hell out of there. Now, hours later, my heart actually still feels a bit fluttery. I'm really bad at handling anxiety.

While that was definitely an unpleasant experience, on the other hand, it was also kind of funny. My sister was standing there making fun of bronies, and she had no clue that I am one.

I also have to say "kudos" to whoever that brony was. That guy has more guts than I'll ever have. Especially considering what a redneck dump my hometown is.
