Questions about Luna

Okay, so presumably she controls the moon, just like Celestia makes the sun rise and set.

 

Does this mean she controls the tide?

 

And what about other aspects of the night, like stars and dreams?

 

Could dream control allow her to help someone take a quest to find something in their hearts via their head while they sleep?

 

I'd really like to see more dialogue between her and her sister, I just love exposition on the setting, like the Founding of Equestria episode.

i think she just controls the moon, to bring night.

controlling the tides would be just a effect of controlling the moon as for stars and dreams... stars are suns and you can sleep in the day and have dreams so how would Luna have control over it

Yeah unfortunately, I don't see Luna having the power to go into anyone's dream solely because she controls the moon. As awesome as that would be if she did...

I can see her control over the moon influencing the rising and lowering tides. But other than that, and on the dreams thing, no.

Does this mean she controls the tide? I'd have to say yes since she does can control the moon that indirectly give her control of ocean tides.

 

And what about other aspects of the night, like stars and dreams? No, Although the night sky can be called her's she does'nt have any control over the stars and such only the moon.

She has shown to have certain spells while Nightmare Moon.

 

Shapeshifting: She can shift around as smoke/shadow, a thorn, scary trees, and multiple pegasi so far.

 

Shadow Form: Her shadow form in particular allowed her to seep into solid objects and also break it like the cliff.

 

Lightning: She used Lightning that struck down the guards that came at her.

I would think so. and it would be so cool if they did an episode more about her since we don't know much about her so far in the series .

It doesn't seem a safe assumption that she indirectly controls the tide through the moon, this is Equestria after all.

 

Onto the question, I hope she does, directly or indirectly, as my username would be rendered moot otherwise.
