Sigh tilted his head to the side, a sort of shrug. "Eh, maybe. Maybe not. I haven't tried to find out. And if there were, what would it matter? Most can't stand to be around me anymore. They say I went too far while in the gang, that I should've resisted or tried to just free my family." he looked at his hooves. "Idiots. They don't know what's it's like. One wrong move, just one, and your family is murdered in front of your eyes, and you know it's your fault." he laughed bitterly. "A few of them understood that, at least, but those ponies all think I went too far when I made my move to get out of the gang. So between being in and getting out, nopony from Stable 17 wants anything to do with me."

Strong Hooves thought about this, he was surprised to realize that he actually felt sorry for Sigh, Wow, he thought, this guy's really had it rough, to be shunned from the ones he grew up with, just because he wanted to protect his parents. He had nothing else to say, so he moved his gaze ahead, keeping a solemn quiet as he walked...

(lol, nice bump. I've been considering what to do to kick this forwards. I can't do much tonight again as I'm cramming for tests tomorrow and Melody isn't really speaking, just being all scared the shit out of as she follows along - so ill post that. I'm gonna start excersising tomorrow night when everything calms down IRL for me and I can plan something out.)

 

Aria followed the group, a little bit behind, and shivered at Sigh's story. *He must have been just a colt when he was exposed to this world!* She still was combating herself over the prisoner's deaths, trying to justify Gizmo's actions and being fully able to logically, but not being able to fully convince herself simply because of her morals. She just couldn't believe that there was absolutely no other option.

I had maintained those silly school filly thoughts that everything would be perfect and fine when we left." She shuddered again. "But this is just crazy."

Gizmo walked up to Melody and punched her. "I thought we got through this. It's not your fault. And it's not your fault either Autumn. I could very well say the same thing: 'It's my fault we're here because I opened the door.' Guess what? I don't go like that. Why? It's not anyone's fault. We each wanted to go out here, right? So it was our own choice, right? It is your own fault that you and only you are out here as much as it is my fault that I am out here."

Strong Hooves admired the mindset of Gizmo, he saw that this unicorn had a good head on his shoulders. "Gizmos right, it isn't any one pony"s fault, we are to blame for our own choices, but it doesn't mean we don't have to face the consequences alone"...

(OK - Lets give it a boot, shall we? I will be using as a rough map, but the majority of the markers are under questioning - I know for a fact I wont be using most of them, just the main cities and towns. Appleoosa (New and Old), Ponyville, Manehattan, Fillydelphia, Old Olneigh, Maripony, Canterlot, Zebra Town, Everfree Forest, Whitetail wood, Glyphmark, and Junction R-7 will all be there for sure, though don't expect them to be the same, as this is a different time in an alternate reality where lil'pip's vault died years earlier due to equipment failure (this is my excuse for all the fucking up of the story we will be doing). Many places will be similar or even the same, but many may be completely different or under new management.

 

So overwrite what Evilshy said about the place, it's barren but not a desert. I will be keeping the NCR though and there will be a town southwest of us. I'm placing Stable 33 South of Canterlot on the edge of the mountains, yet north of Ditzy Doo's wreckage - which I will be keeping and Ditzy Doo will be involved BTW, couldn't drop her . So let's get rolling, shall we? P.S. - this makes the town southwest of our location New Appleoosa.)

 

(the above is something I wrote just before slender made a post to get things going. I won't be kicking into a time skip like I planned to ponyville until tomorrow, going to bed soon anyway. Just thought you might like this info, and it might be helpful to Evilshy too since he should know everything.)

Strong Hooves still didnt fully trust Sigh, but the unicorn had a point, anypony can outrank any other pony with experience, and Sigh had the most of the group. "So, how long until we reach this town? Are we gonna have to camp out or will we reach the town soon?".

Sigh scratched his head. "Well... It might be a day or two, I think. It depends on how fast we travel. I know in Stable 17 we weren't big on endurance, I'd imagine you weren't either."

Again as earlier mentioned, whenever Strong Hooves faced a comment that questioned his physical strength, he always took seriously...

"Don't forget some of us are also lugging around extra equipment. We should go at the slowest pony's speed we have, unless one of us is going far below the next one. In which case, one of us would need to carry said pony."

"What we do need" said Strong Hooves, "is some form of transportation. We could get some sort of travel wagon, and I could pull all of us and not worry about anypony falling behind. Perhaps we should look for something like that when we reach the town".

Melody stepped in a puddle as they continued to travel. Suddenly, her pipbuck lit up as a feature self activated and started clicking, a small rainbow dial with a needle pointed towards a light green. "W-what does that mean?" She quickly hopped out of the water, the clicking fading and the needle dropping to lay flat.

Strong Hooves' ears perked at the clicking, obviously it meant something was wrong with the water, but he didnt really know what. He didnt feel like taking any chances, so as he was about to step into a puddle in front of him, he quickly jumped over it

Lunar heard the clicking. "What was that?" Lunar said. A million thoughts rushed through Lunar's mind. What happened? Is there something wrong with the water? Is there something in the water? Is there an approaching enemy Lunar looked down at his own PipBuck. Everything was fine.
