Hi there, I'm from a project called Equestria United. We're creating a site designed for the Brony Fandom to share their creations freely and explore it easily.
All forms of media, projects, sites and anything else that the fandom can create. We want to provide a place for everyone to be able to share/explore/socialise in one place without exceptions or bias.

The site is still under construction but we're getting some of our core features up and running now. One of which is a 24/7 brony station. 
Now I know you're thinking, "Oh no... not another" and you're right to think so. 
What makes our one different is that we accept all music submitted from musicians, known or unknown. Using various sister genre specific streams we offer listeners to tune in to exactly what they want.
Live DJ/Hosts providing there own personalities to the mix as well and we have a unique experience that anyone can find something to enjoy.
As the project grows and more people use it to submit music then in theory the station could have access to the entire Brony Music Library.


This brings us onto the purpose of this message. Its purpose is two-fold.

1. To inform you about the project and site.

2. To possibly interest you in submitting your music to EQU Radio to be one of the first to have your music on the site.


As part of the project we don't use any music unless we get permission from the musician themself. 
Concerning paid music, what we would like to propose is that if we buy the album then we can broadcast the music as it will not be available for download.


In the future we would hope to be a site that you will submit your new releases to and use as well for its many features.
It is currently very much under construction. The radio page itself is a horrible mess but will be getting a revamp in the next few days.

It sounds like an interesting concept - I'll have to look into it when I get more spare time on my hands. Needless to say, I'd be up for something like this, as this combines 2 of my favorite things in the world: the MLP fandom and music.

Mmmm, this really looks interesting. I'm intrigued.

I should say this, don't expect high-quality stuff from me. Not that it's terrible, just that it's probably not up to snuff with other brony musicians. Would that be alright with you?

Besides that tiny derpy concern, I love the idea. I think I'll post some of my old orchestral music, and finish a lot of projects that I dropped when I started writing, once this gets up and running.

Hmm...How much infrastructure has already gone into this? 

 

I guess what I am saying is, Feldo (owner of this forum) will be releasing Pony.FM eventually, and it seems to have a lot of similar features that this site will offer. Perhaps you both should pull talents? Maybe attempt to discuss a joint venture? 

 

It's a great concept, but I think its being practiced by a lot of other people. Specifically, what will set this site apart?

OK, I looked into it more: Instead of it being a music site, it the purpose to essentially be a user friendly database for all Fan Fiction, Music, Art, and other content sorted and catered to the individual user? Kind of like a learning system...one that caters to what you generally like and look at. If that is the case, you have a good differentiation strategy! Sounds like a lot of work though!
