Twilight Sparkle vector (my first one!)

So, out of all the things that intruded me most about the show, the fact that it is made in Flash stood out the most. It's unique style allows for unique, easily-sizable objects and animation techniques not doable with traditional hand-drawn animation.

Another benefit that came from that is that it makes it easy to draw show-accurate models, such as vectors. Now, I always loved everything about vectoring, but I initially told myself I wasn't going to do it. Well, all that changed recently. See, there's this application for iOS that has features much akin to Flash, so I thought, heck; I barely use a computer, why not get a program like it for my iPad?

Well, out if boredom and lack of things to do with my tablet during art class, I decided to try my hoof at vectoring. It was fun and easy, not like I expected. After some guidance from a friend, I started doing it the right way. I picked Twilight first as she seems to be one of the easiest ones to draw. The end result is much better than I expected.

Hey, great job buddy!!!  Way to go on your first vector drawing, and awesome to see ya trying your hand at something new!!!  Me, I probably couldn't draw anything like that, but I may try my hand at writing a fan fiction this Christmas break.  Can't wait to see more of your work!!!
