[Courageous Thunder Dash 7,824]

"Who are you referring to?" Thunder Dash asked. 

 

Meanwhile Rainbow Dash was recovering from the spell. "Uh...thanks." She said. She then went over to Storm Rush to talk. "I don't get it, if Shining Star's a changeling, why hasn't she turned back into one?" Rainbow Dash asked. "That's because a special spell was cast on her, to make her a pony. If she's put in a changeling cocoon, then she will be forced to turn back into a changeling." Storm Rush explained.

(occ: this may get a little confusing due to multiple ponies on the radios in several communication rooms. to make it easier i will be writing it as if it was a script and all this is taking place late at night before the sergeant could reply to you)

Control Room sergeant: "Captain, we are receiving flash traffic Emergency Action Message, I say again we are receiving flash traffic EAM, recommend Alert 2, Recommend Alert 2"

 

Control Room Captain: "Alert 2, alert 2, EMAF Ponies this is not a drill, man you stations stand by for further instructions!"

 

Proximity Radar Private First Class: "What the buck! My Screens Full!"

 

Code room Major: (Reading screen) "what the hay is this (reading aloud)All units... Running out...of time... we are pushing our plans... destroy all deciphering machines and codes...All units... Can we not decode this part? " 

 

Code room Captain: "No sir, that's what alarms us."

 

Code room Major: "(picks up phone) We need to escalate to Alert 1. we have a possible attack imminent. we have picked up transmissions stating to destroy all deciphering machines and codes and unable to decode the last part of the message, Do you read, Acknowledge."

 

Canterlot Control: "We read you Major. Alert 1, Alert 1, this is not a drill, this is not a drill. We are now declaring Marshal Law. Get all the civilian ponies to the evacuation points just in case we need to evacuate.

 

Proximity Radar Sergeant: "My screen is full! I am picking up a lot of movement coming from he East, Now i am picking up on the West-"

 

Radar Captain: "Zoom out on the radar! We need to find out what is going on. Lieutenant start waking up eleven thousand ponies"

 

Radar Sergeant: "Zooming out, standby, the screen is no longer full, but we have a lot of signatures being picked up all around Ponyville. I think there is an attack about to take place! We need to do something.

 

Radar Sergeant First class: "Control-Radar, We have contact bearing 060 At ponyville. Possible hostile intent. Launch the Alert, Launch the Alert, do you read me! LAUNCH THE BUCKING ALERT!

 

Advance Warning and Control (AWAC/Ghost Eye): ALERT 1, ALERT 1, begin the evacuation procedures for Ponyville, sound the alarms:

 

(ooc: switching to the other side now)

 

Praetorian 1: "We are not sure if we managed to get by with out being detected"

Drone 1: "Of course we were detected, but with the our shear numbers, we will be unstoppable in our mission.

Drone 2: "Wait, what is our mission?

Praetorian 2: "Our mission is to get a safe area so that our queen may be able to speak with shining star and convince her to come home."

Drone 3: "so we are not overtaking ponyville?

All: "NO!

 

(back at the military)

 

Proximity Radar Private First Class: "Judging by this, there has to be at least give or take a few thousand, but i am predicting over 600,000 unknowns heading into ponyville!

 

(In ponyville)

Evacuation Captain: "Attention all Ponies of Ponyville, this is not a drill, we need all ponies to start moving to the underground bunkers. Please do this in an orderly and fashioned way. Please do hurry, but do no run"

 

MP Sergeant: "Major Dash, where did you leave that filly!

MP Sergeant 2: "What the hay is going on"

Radio operator 1: "We copy the Alert 1, we are now evacuating in accordance with SOP"

Radar Private "This is not good, hey everypony the unknowns are on the move, they will be all over us in a matter of minutes, thirty minutes if they stay at this speed"

(alarms blear at this point

AWAC: "Attention Ponyville Control, this is Ghost Eye, Marshal Law has been declared, Evacuations are futile, get them hidden underground.

ponyville Control: "Shit! what the buck is happening! Ghost Eye, do you read me?! Dose Any Pony Read Me!!

ponyville Control sergeant: "Radios are dead, we are not receiving or transmitting

Ponyville Control: What do you mean Radios are down!"

ponyville Control sergeant: "Something is jamming our signal. All radios are fully functional, but they are not able to send or receive"

 

In the Horizon hundred of thousand changelings could be seen in all directions just glaring down at the small ponyville waiting for the orders.

 

Shining Star comes running up to thunder dash "What is going on?"

 

"If all they want is that filly, JUST give them what they want before all of equestria is torn to pieces." 

The sky turns dark as more changelings start filling the sky. Panic and screams of terror start fill the streets as ponies start running for the underground bunker while all the other branches of service are trying desperately to calm them all down.

"Alright Shining Star, you must answer this question now! We cannot wait any longer! Do you want to remain with us? Yes, or no? We don't have much time. Answer the question, which will decide our actions. You must hurry or Ponyville's gonna go to pieces if you take too long!" Thunder Dash said to Shining Star.

Alarms blaring in the back ground and the changelings on their way to ponyville. A runner runs up to the Sergeant standing next to Thunder-Dash and the rest. "Sir! Sergeant! We have confirmed the ETA of the attack. At their speeds, they will be on us in five minutes! All EAF ponies are busy with the evacuation, we will not be able to hold them off!"  "Attention, Attention! Attack imminent! Three Minutes till WAR is upon us!" "Filly! We need that answer!" "Umm, i don't know, i don't know!" The sky grows darker as the changelings are advancing from the sky and from the ground. "Attention Attention, War will be upon us in exactly 60 seconds!" "FILLY!!!" Suddenly the EAF Air-force Flies in from out of no where and starts attacking the air-born changelings. As the Count down is being broadcast from the speakers Shining Star could be seen sweating bullets. With only a twenty seconds left, Shining Star makes up her mind. "I will go!" The changelings all around halt, while the air-born changelings continue fighting the EMAF Air-Force

Thunder Dash sighed. He then picked her up, and started flying towards the hive. As he was flying, memories of him and Shining Star together flashed though his mind. It was hard; he did not want to see her leave. A tear fell from his eyes and landed on Shining Star. Back on the ground, Storm Rush was looking at Thunder Dash flying away.

As Thunder-dash flew to the hive shining star was crying herself trying to figure out if she had made the right choice. After Thunder-Dash left and was out of sight, Chrysalis landed in front of Storm-Rush. "Do not Panic, I am not here on hostile terms. i just wish to speak with my daughter"

At that moment, he contracted all of his muscles and vanished. He reappeared right in front of Chrysalis holding Shining Star. He then let Shining Star out of his arms and stepped back.

Chrysallis just stares at Thunder-Dash. "What is this? You take her from me twice, and now you are just going to give her up, I this some kind of trap?" "I have to know, I have to know if what you said is true the second time you took me back into those dark caves"

Thunder Dash looks at Chrysalis. "What I'm about to say, is the honest and definate truth: As the large group of changelings, were about to attack Ponyville, I asked Shining Star one question: Does she want to remain here, or go back. And she said these words "I will go." So I then took her to the hive, expecting you to be there. But I had a strange feeling, that you were not there. So I cancelled the flight by teleporting back here." Thunder Dash said. "He's telling the truth. I heard Shining Star's answer and saw him come back." Storm Rush said backing up Thunder Dash.

Thunder Dash looks at Chrysalis. "Well...(noticing Thunder-Dashes sadness) Thank you? Come shining Star, we must not be here for long lest Celestia and Luna will be here any moment and i for one do not what that happening. Thank you again for bringing my daughter back to her rightful home. I guess i was wrong about all ponies. you are not all evil like those Zebras" Chrysalis says. Shining Star quickly walks up to Thunder-Dash and stops in front of him. "I am sorry Thunder Dash. I really am. I just didn't want anything to happen to ponyville. I am sorry for everything that I had put you through." Tears were now rolling down her face and she was choking on sobs.

Thunder Dash bowed his head in sadness. For him, Shining Star seemed like a little friend to him. He held the tears back the best he could, but it was too much for him. He sat down, burrowed his head in his hooves and started to cry. Storm Rush came and comforted him. "I knew...this...would...happen." Thunder Dash said continuing to cry. "Well, at least the war's gonna come to an end." Storm Rush said. "That's one thing. I'm really gonna miss her." Thunder Dash said wiping the tears from his face. He looked at the face of Shining Star for the last time.

Chrysalis bit her lip for a few seconds. "Shining Star, honey, I now know that you don't really want to come home. So i am not going to force you, But you can not be going around in this form any longer. The strain that i had placed on you has caused your form to decay, (puts shining Star in the cocoon) Thunder-Dash, Storm-Rush (looks to the sky and sees that Celestia and Luna are on their way to ponyville.) Rainbow-Dash and Ace, I am going to leave my daughter in your care, as long as i will be able to see her on the weekends and if she should want to, through the week. I must be going now, She will break her self out of the cocoon when the transformation process is completed. Take care of her and let me see her when she gets out." with this Chrysalis flees the area and all the changelings leave faster than they got there. Celestia and Luna both land with confused looks on their face

Thunder Dash quickly picks up the cocoon and takes it to the underground hideout. Thunder Dash returns just in time to see the Princesses and bows down respectfully. Storm and Rainbow bow as well. "I just hope Shining Star will have the same personality as she did in her pony form." Thunder Dash thought.

"I see that you all managed to hold off the changeling attack all on your own." said Celestia. "Yes, thy preserved in thy defeat and yet won." Luna added, with this the two lifted off and flew back to Canterlot. "Major, forgive me for questioning your motives, but why not turn that changeling over to the princess?" a sergeant asked.

"What would the Princess do with a changeling? Keep it locked up? I'll tell her the situation and hopefully she will understand. And hopefully she knows that Queen Chrysalis has left her daughter with us. But if she doesn't, I hope she doesn't treat it as some sort of plot against her." Thunder Dash said

"What would the Princess do with a changeling? Keep it locked up? I'll tell her the situation and hopefully she will understand. And hopefully she knows that Queen Chrysalis has left her daughter with us. But if she doesn't, I hope she doesn't treat it as some sort of plot against her." Thunder Dash said 

three days later the cocoon breaks open and shining star breaths in fresh air once again. "*cough* what. What happened?! One minute i am being taken back to the changeling hive, and now i am waking up on the floor of Ponyville with Ace, Thund...e..r-Dash?" She looks around and realizes that she is with all her friends. she runs up to thunder-dash and hugs his left hoof. "Please dont hate me"

Thunder Dash looks down and sees the tiny changeling Shining Star. He gently picks her up and hugs her tightly. "I don't hate you and I never will." Thunder Dash said hugging Shining Star. "Oh my goodness, where's that cloak you had when I first met you?! You've gotta have that on before we can get out in the open!" Thunder Dash said scurrying around the place looking for the cloak. "Uh, Thunder Dash, it's right over here." Rainbow Dash said holding up a black piece of fabric. "Oh thank Celestia, now let's slip this on ya, so nopony can see we have a changeling." Thunder Dash said.

Thunder Dash looks down and sees the tiny changeling Shining Star. He gently picks her up and hugs her tightly. "I don't hate you and I never will." Thunder Dash said hugging Shining Star. "Oh my goodness, where's that cloak you had when I first met you?! You've gotta have that on before we can get out in the open!" Thunder Dash said scurrying around the place looking for the cloak. "Uh, Thunder Dash, it's right over here." Rainbow Dash said holding up a black piece of fabric. "Oh thank Celestia, now let's slip this on ya, so nopony can see we have a changeling." Thunder Dash said. 

"Well at least now i know why i was so obsessed with this this cloak. So exactly where are we going?" Shining Star looks at everypony in the room. All the MP's took an oath of silence to not speak of anything they saw in the hideout until told that they could.

"I don't know. We can't go far, for some of the millitary members might charge us for keeping a changeling. At least these MPs that have been staying with us promised not to mention anything about the hideout, now that's one relief." Thunder Dash said. Suddenly there was a growl from some there. "What was that?" Storm Rush asked. He then heard a giggle and it was Rainbow Dash's belly. "Ugh, here we go again." Thunder Dash said getting up. "At least Sugarcube Corner is right above us. Storm, Stay down here with Shining Star, Rainbow and I will get something to eat. I'll even bring extras." Thunder Dash said exiting the hideout.

"You might want to bring thirds" Shining Star said remembering the incident with the cake. "Umm If there is any Chocolate up there can you bring some down please?" The MP's upstairs quickly come back down stairs after reliving their shifts. "Just two things to report as of yet, no pony is curious or even remembers the Queen of the changelings making an appearance in ponyville. they just remember all the changelings. Also last thing to report Mr Rush, is that they are offering a bounty. 50,000 bits per changeling to be captured dead or alive."

Thunder Dash and Rainbow Dash went up to Sugarcube Corner. Rainbow Dash brought a lot of cake. Thunder Dash on the other hand, brought enough for two meals. Thunder Dash also took some for Ace and Shining Star. He then returned to the underground hideout.

Shining Star takes her meal and starts eating it happily with Thunder-Dash and Rainbow dash. A few days later chrysalis sneaks into the hide out with the help of the MP's and spends some time with Shining Star telling her of what happened and how she was very sorry. After an hour of her being with Shining Star Chrysalis left, and all the Changelings world wide just simply vanished in thin air. "So i guess this means that her heart is just not filled with hatred and vengeance?" shining asked thunder with a slight smirk on her muzzle.

"Maybe, so...I guess we're a family after all. But do tell me. What caused your mother's heart to be filled with such vile hatred and vengeance. Was it that she was attacked long ago? Or did it have to deal with someone who came before her." Thunder Dash asked. "I hope she won't mind me asking that, when she returns." Thunder Dash said.  

 

Just then Rainbow Dash slowly crawled on top of Thunder Dash's lap and went belly-up. Thunder Dash couldn't resist. He began to tickle and poke Rainbow Dash's full and round belly. Rainbow Dash was laughing like crazy. "Stop it! That tickles!" She said as she continued to laugh and be tickled.
