[Courageous Thunder Dash 7,824]

"Oh, Pinkie, I didn't expect to see you up this late. So what's up? Have you discovered who that masked pony is? If you know please tell us about him/her, or report to Luna's guards who have been patrolling the area for quite a while now." Thunder Dash said. 

 

Back in the room, Rainbow Dash had cuddled with Shining Star.

Shining star had resorted to being in her alicorn form and was asleep beside Rainbow. Chrysalis was startled by Pinkie and some of her guards that remembered what pinkie did in the Hives ran off. "OH no, i havnt found nothing yet, but dont you worry. I told twilight and she is mad. She even went through magic rage again and took off to the library to find out if she could try and solve this." She said being loud

"Shhh, Pinkie, don't wake up the others. You gotta keep it down. Rainbow Dash suddenly woke. "Huh, what's going on here?" She asked grogily with her eyes still half closed. "Pinkie and I were discussing the case of the mysterious masked pony that harmed the changelings." Thunder Dash said. "But go back to bed, sorry, Pinkie was a bit too loud." Thunder Dash added. Rainbow Dash then went back to the room and fell back asleep.

Chrysalis reappeared and glared at Pinkie Pie. "Sorry, got a little exited. But i am going to go find out who did this." With this she grabs a bucket of black paint out of her mane and dumps it on herself, then she digs out a fake changeling horn and puts it on. She then lets her hair fall flat and she cuts holes in them. Looking like a quick resplendence to a changeling she takes off out of the tunnels leaving a very confused Queen. "How did pull out a bucket of paint from her mane?"

"Don't ask me, that's just who she is. She may not be a unicorn, but she can do all sorts of magic." Thunder Dash explained.

 

Storm Rush had woken and found Chrysalis and Thunder Dash talking about the mysterious pony. "I overheard you guys talking about the mysterious pony. Just a note, we may need an investigator for this one." Storm Rush said. "Twilight Sparkle's doing that." Thunder Dash said.

within minutes, the five were gathered around and pinkie pie was trotting around town just being a very calm pinkie when suddenly two ropes pope out and drag her away. Applejack being the one to see this happen took off in the direction pinkie was drug. Fluttershy ran to the tunnels, and rarity ran to get the guards. Twilight used her magic to locate pinkie pie. Fluttershy knocks on the door in the house above the tunnels

"This way!" Thunder Dash shouted as he used an energy sensing spell to follow the direction of where Pinkie Pie was being taken. "Come along Chrysalis." Storm Rush said. "What should we do with Shining Star?" Storm Rush asked. "She's sleeping with Rainbow Dash." Thunder Dash said.

It wasn't long before pinkie stopped sliding in the ground. "OH, Oh, Oh, That was fun, lets do it again!" Soon applejack was upon pinkie and twenty seven masked and cloaked figures emerged from the treelines deep with in the everfree forest. "Um, Pinkie, dont get me wrong or anything but i think we done walked into a trap."

Thunder Dash quickly got into a fighting position and charged up his currents. "Looks like the only way to find out who these guys are is to knock'em out and see who's under the masks." Storm Rush said. "From there, we can report these criminals to Princess Luna and have them dealt with by her from there on." Thunder Dash said.

The 25 ponies realize that this was a trap and attempt to flee only to run in night guards in closing the area from all sides. "Stop in the name of the law! Under Princess Luna's Orders you are all hearby under arrest!" Shining Armor calls out. The ponies still try to run not realizing that all the guards in the area were unicorns and they were pinned down my their magic and placed in hoof-cuffs.

"Good, now let's just see who's behind these masks." Thunder Dash said as he went up to one and was about to pull off the mask. 

 

Back in the tunnels, Rainbow Dash was still sleeping not even realizing what was going on outside. 

 

Storm Rush had also pinned down one of the mysterious masked ponies and was about to remove the mask.

The guards tied up the ponies and then walked away. Shining Armor stepped forward and removed the first cloaked figure and saw that it was Filthy Rich. The second Pony to be unmasked was his wife. (cant think of anyothers at this time)

 

Shining Star rolled over in the bed only to fall off the edge of it with a loud *smack*

Rainbow Dash woke up suddenly. She didn't know what the thud was, when she turned, she saw Shining Star on the floor, she then gently picked her up, put her back on the bed, cuddled with her and fell back to sleep.

 

"Filthy Rich? W-why were you doing this?" Thunder Dash asked as he removed a smaller pony's mask to find a really ticked off Diamond Tiara.

"I should be asking you the same thing! Protecting these monsters! After what they did to Princess Celestia at the Royal Wedding two years ago. Have you not forgotten? You dare stop us from saving Equestria from these love draining monstrosities?" At these words Chrysalis started forward to get revenge for her two foals that were hurt in all of this.

"WAIT! Chrysalis! No! Don't!" Thunder Dash screamed as he got in front of her to stop her. He then turned to the masked ponies.

 

"Do you really wanna do this? Do you really want to reverse the bond that I have formed with Chrysalis and the changelings. Do you want Ponyville to be destroyed for good. Look here you vigilantes, you think you're doing right, but no, you've got it all wrong, completely wrong. Look, the war's over. Changelings have changed their attitudes. They are no longer hostile." "Oh, well prove it Mr. Smarty pants!" Diamond Tiara scoffed. Thunder Dash couldn't take it anymore, from Diamond Tiara. He then began to transform, into his changeling form. "Now, tell me something, what would you do if a group of changelings came, snuck and took all of your food? Huh?" "Uhh, we would be angry..." Diamond Tiara said nervously. "Good, now if that's the way you will treat us..." Thunder Dash said starting to walk around the group. "That's the way we will treat YOU." Thunder Dash said pointing at Diamond Tiara and hissing at her. Diamond Tiara was scared to the max. "I think I kinda overdid it." Thunder Dash said to himself. He then transformed back into a pony. "So I suggest you stop what you're doing, or another war will begin. Your choice. Don't make me do this, but I will." Thunder Dash said looking at Filthy Rich and Diamond Tiara. 

 

Suddenly, Princess Luna appeared. "So, you have found the masked ponies, well, I'll take it from here." Luna said as she and several of her guards began arresting each of the masked ponies including Diamond Tiara and Filthy Rich.

 

(OOC: I hope I didn't take it too far)

The guards took the masked ponies and put them in a cell with in the Canterlot jails. Chrysalis went inside and said good by to shining star again while she was asleep and looked at Thunder dash. "Thank you for stopping me. I almost undid everything that you had worked so hard in preserving. I hope that with these ponies arrested everything will be right for my children."

"No prob, it's what I do." Thunder Dash said. "So, what next?" He asked. 

 

Back in the tunnels, Rainbow Dash was sleeping soundly with Shining Star. She was dreaming yet again, of her first flight with the Wonderbolts. That fated day, where she would take to the skies with the great elite and perform for "crowds of thousands".

Chrysalis looks at Thunder Dash and then to Shining Star with tears in her eyes. "The next thing i do is i leave once again. I can not be the mother that i am suppose to be. After what happened up there has showed me that. You and Rainbow Dash have proven time and time again that you all are capable parents. I have called for Princess Luna to come down into the tunnels (uses magic to pull out a scroll from the air) so that she may legalize the adoption of shining Star. I do hope you do not mind this." 

 

In the Canterlot Cells one of the ponies finally spoke up. "I cant believe i let you talk me into this Rich! I had a good life, and Yellow pegasus was right! What the buck did the changelings do to me after the war was over! NOTHING!" The other 22 ponies all agreed hatefully. "If we manage to get released early, you had better hope we never cross paths, or i will make your life miserable" Silver Platter hissed

Thunder Dash signed the papers as necessary and looked at Chrysalis. He felt the need to give Chrysalis a hug, but controlled it. He was trying to fight the urge but every time he tried to stay back, he slowly inched forward. He couldn't resist it anymore, and went to hug Chrysalis, for what she had done. "Thank you so much. I think both our lives have been changed by this." Thunder Dash said.

Chrysalis sort of jumped at this, but in the end she returned the hug for a second and then signed the papers. Princess Luna entered the Tunnels with Celestia in tow behind her still trying to figure out what was going on. "Luna, Sister, I know you are the princess of the night and everything, but that dose not mean that you can just drag me out of bed at this hour. I would expect you to be asleep this late at night as well." she complainied

"Ah Celestia." Thunder Dash said and immediately bowed. "What brings you out at this time of night? Did Luna bring you out because of what happened?" Thunder Dash asked. 

 

Meanwhile Rainbow Dash was still dreaming about her first flight with the Wonderbolts.

"I am wanting to know why i am out at such a late hour as well..........Wait, Luna, What happened?" Celestia asked eyeing Luna carefully. 

 

Shining Star somehow gets into the dream and sees Rainbow dash flying with the Wonderbolts. She looks back at her wings and flattens her ears realizing that her mother will be able to fly much faster than Shining Star would ever be able to. She realized that she could never have the chance to keep up with her mother. Instead of leaving she looks up and just watches the Wonderbolts doing their maneuvers still with her ears flattened and her wings at her side. 

 

(She is still in her normal pony form)

In the dream, Rainbow Dash notices Shining Star looking up at her all sad, because she knew she wouldn't be able to keep up with her. She then did something special, she landed right in front of Shining Star and said. "Hey, someday you'll be just as fast as I am. It just takes practice and determination." Rainbow Dash said as she flew back up to join the Wonderbolts. 

 

Back outside, Luna stated to Celestia: "Thunder Dash and Storm Rush discovered who the criminals were who tried to hurt a pair of changelings." Luna explained.

Shining Star smiles but still has her ears flattened. She thinks about what Rainbow said and tries to fly again for the first time in two years. She manages to make it off the ground and starts flying.

 

Outside the dream Celestia is just looking at Luna. "Ok Thunder, What happened that i should know about?"

"Well, as you may know, the changelings are doing quite well, but, a group of ponies tried to rise against us and rid the changeligs for good. These ponies included Filthy Rich and some of his family. Also some others. They were arrested by Luna, for doing harm on changelings." Thunder Dash explained.
