Shadow stopped hacking at he dummy and looked at the gryphon talking to her. "Oh somepony who is not afraid to talk to a vampony? I accept your challenge. But first give me your blades." She said as she ran her hoof over her own blade putting a magic barrier over the sharp edges.

 

The jetblack griphon got his first good look at the vampony. "Well I guess you could say we are not that different" He took back his blades knowing full well that he could have blunted them himself, but he wanted to see how this vampony acted. He held the daggers, one in each claw. He turned back to the vampony and prepared himself for what he expected to be a viscous onslaught. He was not disappointed.

As umbra walks, a soldier bumps into him. "Umbra sir!" He salutes "remember how you told us about a pony that is after princess luna and attacked you. I noticed one of the recruits with the knife that scratched your armor and the scar you put on him. I also noticed his whire cloak and some spots where emblems used to be. And it looked like Celestia's armies emblem.."

Shadow took a fighting stance and waited for the gryphon to turn around. Once he did shadow jumped at him and brought her sword down only to be blocked by his daggers. She pushed down for a few more seconds then jumped back. She smirked then teleported behind him and started to bring her blade down on his head.

Umbra threw the cup away as it emptied, watching her analytically. He smiled, walking past her, leaving his armour not far from her. "Good work, but don't waste yourself on 't dummies." his voice held a kind British accent rather than the cruel and calculating one of earlier. He walked of in the direction of midnight. 

midnight didnt even notice umbra walking up as he continued to fire arrows, emptying his quiver quickly, but all his arrows hit their mark, no matter moving, or not, it was his talent after all his cutie mark was a golden bow and arrow.

Shift recognized the teleportation spell and brought the knives over his head to block the expected attack. upon feeling the blades connect he let out a powerful push with his wings, blowing both him and his opponent backwards. He flapped again to right himself and turned back towards his opponent. He chuckled. "im no stranger to underhanded moves, nor unicorn magic" He said, again being quite cryptic

He put his hoof against the guards mouth. His voice returning to the tone he'd used in the introductions. "Hush now Dior. I know everything about each of these ponies, perhaps more than they know themselves. No one here is a traitor. Shame really. You know I like to have such fun with that kind." He watched the training for a few minutes. "I will take my leave. Keep training and be warned, if you slip up.... well" he turned his head to the guard that he still had his hoof pressed against. "The guards are utter snitches." he said before disappearing with another clap of lightning.

"Hmmmm underhand... Oh I know!" Shadow thought to herself. She flipped and landed on the ground then pushed up to attack the gryphon with an....underhand attack. Shift had already expected underhanded tactics after the teleport so he only brought one blade down to block the undercut, it was a risky move but worth it as after a brief clash the large blade moved away from his chest and over his head. He brought the other dagger up to block, but because of the positioning he was only able to shift it to the side slightly, the blade striking his elbow and knocking one of his blades to the ground.

Dior gave a nod "but.. what if he is planning on it once more? shouldn't Princess Luna know or something?"

Hank stopped fighting the dummy for a second as a green holographic pony appears next to Hank's head. His name is Delta. "Hank i am worried about this choice.. do you think anypony wants to mess with you?" 
Hank shakes his head "i hope not but if so, i might not be able to take them." he gave a weak smile as the 13 panels glow and they look like Celestia's armies emblem.

The blades flame went from red to a neon green and started singing the hair on her coat. "Can't keep this kind of heat up for long though"

His claws fit into the hole in the center. he dove towards the vampony

He said a moment before a green light enveloped him and he landed on top of his opponent, pinning her down with his new claws and he held his now razor sharp teeth to her thought. "What supprised to see a wolf ready to tear you to shreds?" He asked as he pulled his teeth away and looked into the vampony's eyes. it was true, where a black griphon had been moments before, now stood a large jetblack wolf, but one thing remained the same, his eyes. 

Shadow smirked."It seems we have a changeling in our midst, I've never tried changeling blood before." She grinned wickedly and moved her mouth to the changelings neck, lightly touching her lips to his neck. "I think I win, no?" She waited for his reaction.

They are nothing like me." Shift whirled on the vampony. "And if you were to taste me now you would not get the taste of a changeling." Shift considered transforming into that from but pushed the thought aside, the pain was not worth it. "My name is Shift. Next time I wont hesitate to bite your head off." with that the wolf transformed again into the shape of a unicorn and walked away, pulling his weapons together as he went.

[Prince Midnight 817]

as midnight returned from retreiving his arrows he watched the battle thoughtfully, frowning at the shapeshifter and shook his head, placing his arrows neatly inside their quiver and slung both the bow and his quiver over his back, looking at everyone he noticed their attention was mostly on the two and decided this could be his chance to take care of the problem that had been gnawing at him all evening as the moon rose.

he moved into the barracks and looked around finding the most secluded bed before placing his things on it, he turned and looked down at the bottle, it had a label that was barely eligable, the only word on it, "wolfsbane." before popping the cork and taking a small sip, then corking it back up and placing it in his bag and laying back on the bed.

Shadow got up and brushed herself off."Sheesh mother was right I shouldn't play with my food." she said jokingly. She looked around."Anypony else wanna fight me!?" She continued looking around. "Huh! Anypony else?!" She smirked. "Guess not." Shadow started back to the dummies, any target was better that none.
