i am chatty dash i am an warrior who has his sword of power he got this sword from his dying father and i also have the ability to use magic although i am an pegasus (not an alicorn) i learnt this from an wise wizzard i have armor an help ponys who need it i have an pet dragon who flys with me (don't worry he does not fight just for company)

ok this is my first RP so lets get started we are going to find a wise and powerful wizard dragon to help us defete the evil that has conqured the land i am open to sugestions to help with this we travle through a forrest and later an mountain then final we go to the dragons cave in the sky? or where ever and then we go through an swamp to retrive an amulet for the dragon he wants 3 of these specile amulets so we have to go to an volcanoe,swamp and we have to go town into and underwater cave (the dragon gives us the equitment we need when we meet him) i will be the dragon and my character they are separate but i can do this after we done this we have to go to an bone filled island to defeat the evil (i dont know what it is yet) with the dragon we could win or lose it depends on everyponys actions i am open to sugestions so do you or any pony want this to be open or private and will this be an 1 on 1 role play or 4 on 4 or wide open tell me your ideas

We'll say that some of them were working in the outer farms, while others had to use their skills to get out(a barrier forms to trap the villagers) before they got blasted away or something. For example, an archer or a warrior could've shot some arrows or slashed at a weak point and created a hole that allowed escape. A mage could've teleported a short distance away(they definitely can't teleport all the way to the North Pole or anything like that. It definitely can't be used constantly to evade attacks. That'd be overpowered.). A rogue could use some ninja skills to get out. Basically, the bad guy is unintentionally singling out the ones who will eventually defeat him.

 

With that in mind, I've changed he reason for why the village would be destroyed. The bad guy receives a prophecy that predicts his defeat at the hooves of ponies with skills beyond the ordinary and a quality that he can never understand or grasp. And that quality is friendship. He finds out that these heroes live in that one village, so he sets out to destroy it without leaving behind any survivors.

 

Now about the question regarding the warrior, we can say that he lived in the village and he has been secretly trained to be a warrior. It was more for recreation, but it can still really hurt somepony.

We are just growing food day in and day out because the evil thing has been forcing us to do so. Then it gets destroyed when a villager does something traitorous. Everypony dies except for the roleplayers.

He could've been visiting in the town trying to gather information about how to liberate the ponies in it from the tyranny they lived in (Thats what I'm understanding it to be but correct me if I'm wrong...) and he helped save some of the townsponies. He would definately want to help defeat what ever was controlling the town.

I also like your idea of acting like a spy or something, but unfortunately, it's going to be were nobody survives but the roleplayers. It could give our OCs a drive to accomplish their goal. You're right about the evil that's controlling that town and forcing the inhabitants to grow food, but it's not just that one town. It's the entire land(I'm not sure if this is Equestria or some other foreign land) that's being controlled.

I'm going to use another OC in this along with Star Rain. I'm also going to be a musical archer named Night Song. She has been living with a needy mother ever since her father died five years ago by getting killed by one of the evil's cronies for fun when she was twelve. Prior to that, he taught her archery mostly for recreational purposes. It was always kept secret so that nopony gets the idea that they're going to rebel. When her father died, she vowed to get revenge somehow and she practiced archery harder than before with the cherry blossom bow he had carved for her.

 

I'd also like it if everypony can use magic ONLY when they have their weapons(unicorns can use magic anytime they want and non-unicorn mages can cast a variety(but not overpowered) of spells ONLY when they have their staff or wand or whatever).

Ok, I'm glad to hear it

Hmmm... I once made an OC badguy named Tyrath. He was a Big Macintosh sized unicorn, with a lava pattern on his body whose magic specialty was controlling earth, fire, and magma (not my best work but he could fit here...). Tyrath could be another King Somber type and the setting could be another, "magically vanishing world" or whatever you would call the crystal empire and where it is. Also, I think I mentioned already that Cosmo is Princess Luna's apprentice (and if I didnt sorry, it should be in backstory) so maybe he was sent to investigate. Celestial, Luna, and the Royal Guard would wait for a report before acting which could explain why Celestial didn't already send Twilight and the others to march in and Friendship Cannon this "evil" out of Equestria (Seriously, does Celestial really do anything anymore? ) The whole, Luna's apprentice thing won't affect the RP after giving an excuse for Celestia not being there. I didn't make him some op magic user (idk if it even sounds OP but I want to clarify that beforehand just to sure).
