Flame smiled. "Its funny...I never knew such a small mare like yourself could eat this much food. My stomach is the size of a grape...I dont eat much." He said, taking a small bite of his pancake.

 

 

 

Diamond landed just outside the entrance to the carnival and trotted over to the ticket booth. "Hello." She said to the pony inside the booth. "Um...I'm sorry Ma'am, We're not letting anypony in yet." Said the pony. "Oh...Well, My special somepony is one of the performers and I just thought I would come visit...His name is Tag." She said, Holding out her pass. "Alright then...You can head in." Diamond smiled and trotted past the gate to look for Tag.

Pretty soon Electro Dash's wings felt slightly better, at least enough to convince herself to get of her flank and actually ENTER the carnival. Just as she got back on her back legs she noticed a figure that she recognised somewhat in the distance. It took her a minute to procces this.

"HEY! DESCANT! ITS ME!" she said, waving her hooves.

Descant jumped a little bit. Curse his sensitive hearing... He could hear Dash shouting as though she was standing right next to him.

However, he picked up the pace immediately, and closed the distance between them in ten seconds flat. He attempted to skid to a halt at the last second, and failed miserably at it, colliding with Electro Dash. The two tumbled a short distance to the ground. Descant scuffed his knee slightly, but got up, laughing, and extended a hoof to Dash, to help her up as well. "Sorry."

Tag was wandering around by the ferris wheel, when he noticed that a new tent had been set up. It looked like whoever owned it was an artist. Caricatures? He'd have to check back later...

Descant jumped a little bit. Curse his sensitive hearing... He could hear Dash shouting as though she was standing right next to him.

However, he picked up the pace immediately, and closed the distance between them in ten seconds flat. He attempted to skid to a halt at the last second, and failed miserably at it, colliding with Electro Dash. The two tumbled a short distance to the ground. Descant scuffed his knee slightly, but got up, laughing, and extended a hoof to Dash, to help her up as well. "Sorry."

Electro Dash started laughing herself as she took Descants hoof. "Ah dont worry about it. Im used to bieng knocked over." she said while brushing the dirt out of her coat and mane. "just try and be a little mor careful next time? My wings were already aching. 3h hours flight to get here! You probably only gotta go, like, to ponyville or something!"

Diamond was wondering around the circus ground. when she passed by the ferris wheel she noticed Tag on the other side. She smiled and flew up behind him. "SURPRISE." She said, Laughing and hugging him from behind.

Rockshire woke up as a mess, her face stained from tears. *I don't want to see him ever again... But I still want to go to the circus...* After a few minutes of getting ready and eating breakfast, she headed out to the grounds, waiting at the booth.

 

Short Fuse was already waiting inside the tent, standing in the middle ring, and looking around. He wasn't in a angry mood, but just his normal, emotionless mood.

Electro Dash started laughing herself as she took Descants hoof. "Ah dont worry about it. Im used to bieng knocked over." she said while brushing the dirt out of her coat and mane. Flame smiled and took another bite. Half way through a mouthful he said. "I invented....this *Gulp* recipe myself." He said. "Took me years to perfect it."

Tag flinched, and it took him a moment to figure out that it was Diamond hugging him. When he did, he grinned, and tried to wriggle around to be able to hug her back. "You got me." He grinned, and kissed her. "Good job. How'd you get in this early, though?"

As Rockshire entered the carnival, already a voice had chimed into her ears... She turned around and looked to see...

 

*Oh no, not him too... Another one that broke my heart... This is more like Cirque De "Rockshire's Exes"... Just keep walking, and he probably won't notice you... Just ke--*

 

The thought blew over as she ran smack dab into a pole, knocking her to the ground.

Rag's smile faded, as she slapped a hoof to her face. "I completely forgot! He has no idea!" She leapt to her feet, scattering scraps of remaining pancake. She was courteous enough to tidy up after her own mess for him, but went to bolt out the door as soon as she had finished. Her twin was probably out there somewhere looking for her.

 

 

 

The grin that had appeared on Tag's face when she was telling him about the guardpony faded away when she mentioned his sister. "To be honest, I have no idea. She wasn't in our trailer last night when I returned." He blinked, and looked around. "That's what I was doing when you ambushed me. Trying to find her." Glancing around again, he said, "If something bad had happened to her, though, I would know." Despite these reassurances, he seemed worried...

As he helped tidy up Electro Dash, Descant heard a muffled thud from somewhere behind him. Glancing around, he saw a small red unicorn picking herself up from the ground, trying to hide her face. Could it really be...?

Only she could hear his voice, if his suspicion was correct.

"Its ok, We'll find her." Diamond said, Sipping her tea. "When was the last time you saw her ?" She asked, looking around for anypony that resembled Tag.

Tag hadn't really been paying attention at the time. He had been to preoccupied with preparing for his date with Diamond to really listen to his sister. He felt ashamed about that now.

"Hey! What are doing you crazy stallion? Are you having a stoke? Cuz, if you are i wont handle the pressure." she stood infront of him, making eye contact "you stay like this another 5 minutes and ill slap you outa' it, ya' hear me?"

After he finished cleaning the dishes, Flame trotted out of his trailer for his daily exercise routine, he jumped into the air and started flying around the carnival grounds to warm up.

 

 

"Do you think maybe she went to her change room...Or maybe she went back to your trailer. Where do you think we should look ?" She asked.

Tag nodded slowly. "She wouldn't have gone to the trailer yet... We don't need to be ready for an hour or so. She might have gone back to the to the trailer. I bet she thinks I'm still asleep!" He chuckled. But he had no idea how right he was guessing that.

 

"and shes also making alot of friends too. She sais if she keeps it up, she may even go to uni..." Electro Dash stopped when she saw him moving his mouth silently. He was talking, yes, but he wasnt making a sound.

Descant pulled himself back into the situation he was in at the moment. "Huh? Oh... I'm sorry." He looked rather sheepish. "It's just... I've been talking to somepony I haven't seen in a long time." Descant felt guilty that he hadn't been listening. It was really hard for him to talk to two ponies like that at once. "Give me a moment."

Diamond smiled and followed Tag to his trailer.

 

 

After doing a few laps around the carnival, Flame landed just outside a tent where the performers can practice. He trotted inside and made his way over to the space wheel that was off on the other side of the tent.

Tag was about to open the door to his trailer, Diamond standing right behind him, when the door opened, slamming him out of the way. In the door stood a female replica of Diamond's coltfriend. The only differences immediately obvious was that She was rather smaller and lighter than her brother, and her eyes were a sparkling blue instead of a startling green.

 

She looked a little confusedly at the gorgeous violet pony who stood on the doorstep. She was familiar. Wasn't that Tag's marefriend? What was she doing here? And... She was an ALICORN????

 

Rag stared at Diamond speechlessly and shamelessly, not noticing her brother stumbling to his hooves behind the door.

 

How in Equestria had Tag gotten such an angel as a special somepony?

Flame grabbed a skipping rope and climbed onto the outside of the wheel, Where he started skipping.

"Um...Hi." Diamond said to Rag as she helped Tag get to his hooves. "You must be Rag, Tag as told me so much about you...My name is Light Diamond." She smiled and held out her hoof to shake Rags.

Again directing his voice to Rockshire specifically, Descant asked, "Why don't you just come over here?"

 

He wasn't sure this was a great idea... Things were surely going to get nasty quickly... But it was better than making one of them feel ignored... Wasn't it?

Rockshire gulped at his situation. Did he not understand the awkwardness that followed suit with this?

 

"Uh... I wouldn't want to break the conversation with your friend... But, ok."

 

She took in a deep breath, and started to head over to him. Her stomach was turning over. And her breathing was increasing by the second... What was wrong with her?

Descant pulled himself back into the situation he was in at the moment. "Huh? Oh... I'm sorry." He looked rather sheepish. "It's just... I've been talking to somepony I haven't seen in a long time." Descant felt guilty that he hadn't been listening. It was really hard for him to talk to two ponies like that at once. "Give me a moment."

"wha?" Electro Dash asked, kind of puzzled. It seemed like he was paying attention to something else, so she moved out of the way only to notice a mare coming his way. "oh i see. Your err, your clearing some things up. Ok yeah im fine with that..." she backed up to give them room "...just dont get too carried away with yourself."

She had no restraint.

 

Tag, who had just finished brushing himself off, blushed, but tried to laugh it off. Rag could sense his annoyance, thanks to the deep bond they shared.

 

"wha?" Electro Dash asked, kind of puzzled. It seemed like he was paying attention to something else, so she moved out of the way only to notice a mare coming his way. "oh i see. Your err, your clearing some things up. Ok yeah im fine with that..." she backed up to give them room "...just dont get too carried away with yourself."

Descant looked at Dash apologetically. "Remind me to tell you later. And don't worry. Nothing's gonna happen."

Flame finished practicing the wheel of death and moved on to practicing poi.

Diamond laughed. "Im Flattered." She smiled. "When we first met, He was a big ball of awkward...He didn't know what to say, And at first when I saw him I thought he was kinda cute so it was rather obvious he like me back...We just kinda clicked." She said.

Rag smiled softly, and Tag sighed with relief. He should have known than to think that Diamond might be offended by anything Rag said. Diamond had a great sense of humour. Now that that was settled, Tag found it easier to laugh with Diamond and Rag. They had gotten along far better than he could have hoped.

 

"I'm afraid I can't say the same, Diamond. I can never get Tag to talk to me." Rag sounded slightly jealous, but that jealousy was hidden under a thick layer of amusement. "Why don't you tell me about yourself?"
