once weiss left  Night Hawk walked up "so, how we going to do this?" The Rocketeer looked up, "well" he stands up and looks at a map on the table alright, "so we know that he is going to make his way down this street under armed escort, however, i know he doesnt take the rebellion seriously, so he will be riding in an open car, but a gunman on the street will draw too much attention" Night Haw studied the map "there" pointing to a building "this building has a good veiw of the street, if we can place a sniper here, we can get him good" Rocketeer spoke "yes, its perfect, we need to get him there and  scout out the building" Night Hawk said "ill go scout it now, wont take long" Rocketeer nodded "alright good" Night Hawk got up and exited the base

"Sure whatever," Tartaros said as the crimson glow around him dimmed and disappeared. He jumped to different rooftops to do a last minute patrol of the area, he was definitely wanting to go home and sleep right about now. Still though, he decided to stay a bit longer.

Rufus walked down the street, morphing the mace to look like a walking cane as he walked down the street to a more populated area. He decided he was getting a bit hungry and walked into the nearest restaurant. He sat down in a booth, noticing two odd looking characters too. He waited for the waitress rather impatiently with a bored look and ordered a raw t-bone steak when the waitress did come.

Butajiri stopped and extended his arm to stop Hirue.

 

"What's wrong?" Hirue asked.

 

"Two new scents." Butajiri said. "Non human. Not Yokai either. It's a start at least." he looked into the restraunt and quickly looked away. "Don't mess this up Hirue, and try not to look creepy."

Rufus looked over to Eos, almost making a slight snarl sound as he did so. He very reluctantly got up and walked over taking the cane disguised mace with him. "What do you want girl?" He asked with a look of antipathy. 

 

Lenny walked to the door, grabbing the rifle and setting by the door in the corner. He knew that sometime soon he might need it. He then sat down in a chair and prepared some coffee to keep him up to think through of what just happened.

Night Hawk slipped out of the building and grappled up to near by building and started roof hopping, he jumped and glided to the next roof, landing with a roll, his cape retracted and continued free running, heading to the building he was sent to scout out

Tartaros caught sight of Night Hawk running towards a building as he was freely zipping through the air on a tendrils.

"" the symbiote said as Tartaros camouflaged and silently tailed him for fun. He was still curious to see what he was up to though.

"Correct, wonder what he's up to. Judging by his scent he's in quite a rush..."

Night Hawk continued his free running and then jumped and glided down to the street and landed intfront of the building, he looks up **hmmm, looks old** he opens the door and looks inside, the inside looked like an old broken down apartment complex, he started walking up the stairs

"Forget it," Tartaros said. Still camouflaged, he headed towards his house. It wasn't in the main city thankfully, more out in the quiet countryside, yet still close to the city to allow an easy travel to and from. Making sure no one was around he quickly entered into his house and locked the door behind him. It was spacious and filled with technology, and thankfully had a high security system like it should. His symbiote receded into his body, revealing a normal looking guy. Immediately, Scipio hit the showers and got ready for bed. Even though it was still morning, he really needed some sleep on account of last night's events.

"Feels good to actually sleep," he muttered as he drifted off into sleep. Hopefully it would be peaceful, without his symbiote jarring him awake to go fight off some danger.

Night Hawk reached the top floor and looked out the window, it had a perfect view of the street, he hit a button on the side of his helmet 

 

"hey rocket"

 

The Rocketeer grabbed a near by radio "night hawk? what is it?"

 

Night hawk responded "the building is a broke down apatment, a room on the 7th floor has a perfect view of the street, now all we need to do is choose some one to take the shot"

 

The Rocketeer replied "alright good, now get back to base"

 

Night Hawk opened the window and glided out, he landed on a roof top and headed back to the base

"Rufus! So nice to see you. Pretty mace, very flashy," said Eos with a cute smile. "Sit down, sit down, let's all have a nice chat and get to know one another, hmm?"

 

Carullo knocked on Olivia's door. There was an angry shout that sounded suspiciously like "duck loft" and something shattered on the door.

 

Carullo sighed. "Liv, sweetie, open the door," he called, and something like "peace of lift" floated through.

 

He wrenched the doorknob, his hand easily snapping it, and pushed in. A broken vase filled with long-dead flowers he had sent weeks ago lay shattered on the ground. Olivia was also sprawled on the ground in her bra and underwear, glaring at him and burying her face in her pillow that was on the ground. The flat was a mess, trying to ignore the pull to clean up, he sat next to her in the ground, stroking the small of her back gently.

 

"You never come here," she complained angrily. "When you do you're always with that stupid girl who wears elf ears."

 

Carullo flinched-Liv still didn't know about his secret double life or his powers, and he intended to keep it that way. He tried to kiss her but she whipped her head away, her strawberry-smelling hair whacking him in the face.

 

"Liv, I know, I'm sorry," he said, upset with himself for neglecting her, and she looked at him out of big green eyes, much lighter than Eos' emerald ones. "I'm gonna be in town; I'll stay here with you."

 

"Promise?" she pouted.

 

"Swear," he replied, and this time she let him kiss her.

"Yes!" Butajiri agreed. "Sit, have a drink, talk with us! We promise not to be an inconvenience." He turned to Eos. "He doesnt like you much, now, does he?"

(OoC: Since Koenma failed to comply to the time lapse we're reverting so he can talk to Eos. Keep up to date on the OoC thread-if you get left behind at any point because you missed instructions that is on your head. We have now wasted time and Horus has a pointless post; pay attention for all our sakes. Not happy right now.)

 

Eos glanced at Butajiri. "And what exactly would you want?" she asked.

"Rude is my middle name." Rufus snarled as the mace emitted a black smoke and turned back to it's original form. He hoped this would catch the man off guard and allow an easy hit. "I usually let this do the talking"  He said as he brought the mace up towards the mans chest and hit him as hard as he could. 

 

And then he ran off into an alley

Scipio had awoken late at night, around 3 AM to be exact. He was glad to have slept peacefully, and felt restored and wide awake. He went into the bathroom and did the usual rituals a hygienic person would do in the morning.

"" the symbiote reminded him as he got dressed in jeans and a t shirt.

"Oh, right..."

He opened a hidden trap door which led towards an opening close to the city and stepped down in it. The symbiote spread out over his body, making him Tartaros once more. He bounded towards the opening and quietly crawled out. Camouflaging himself, he headed quickly towards the rebel base marked on the map to speak with the letter writer. He waited patiently, but alertly, flicking his forked tongue to detect presences.

(I actually was reading the OOC and did know about the time lapse. My problem is that you did it in the middle of a conversation while you werent supposed to be able to leave. It's already too late to change it. The time lapse happened, I'm just gonna have to be by myself again.)

 

 

Hirue and Butajiri were standing next to a lamp post, unaware of the fact that they were in Tartaro's path, and too engrossed in conversation to pick up his scent.

 

"We may have to pick sides if this keeps up. Theres no avoiding the war." Butajiri said to Hirue. Before Hirue could say anything in response, he sniffed the air and looked around frantically. "I smell it too!" Butajiri said.

"Perfect, guests to a private meeting..."

He had caught the scent before however, but it was briefly the point of no recognition.

Though Hirue heard nothing, the ears of an Imp can pick up faint sounds. Though Butajiri didn't know what he said, he heard Tartaros murmur something.

 

"No need to stay here, right Hirue?" He said to his partner.

 

"But the..." Hirue began, before looking at Butajiri's face and changing his tone. "Oh... Right... We should be leaving now." He said before they both walked off. When they turned to the adjacent alley and out of sight, they stopped. Butajiri put his ear to the wall and listened.

Tartaros flicked his tongue out and let out a large hiss to ward off anything nearby. When was this person going to show, he didn't know. He decided to trail the scents later and see who emitted them, they seemed like very interesting creatures, though perhaps not so tasty if they were trouble.

Eos sensed that Tartaros was near thanks to the tracker, so she waited patiently for him to arrive. Fenyw was nearby, too; she had always been protective of her friend.

The early morning was still and she enjoyed the silence and darkness as she waited patiently for her time.

Tartaros quickly walked up to Eos, and engaged her in conversation.

"I'm guessing you're the one who sent the package then. Well then let's get to it, what do you have to say?"

He sensed another presence nearby, one that smelled extremely awkward, almost as if two people lived in the same body.

Rufus passed by the diner again, his mace transformed into the black cane still as he walked by. He noticed some of the people from last night around still too. He sat in a bench and watched the group from a further distance, hoping that it would go better than last time did.

(OoC: Whoops, sorry. Didn't realize, I thought he was a few blocks away.)

 

"You've seen an example of the information I have readily available," she said smoothly. "And I have so much more. The problem with you rebels is that you use force when you need a few good spies or some honeyed words." She cocked her head. "Case in point-there's a plot to assassinate one of the parliament officials tomorrow. Easy enough to stop myself, but I have a chore to do. If you can stop it then I would be most grateful." She paused. "Since you aren't supposed to know, you can't ask them to stop, and they can't know I talked to you. Do this successfully, you get some intel and maybe another higher-paying job. In?"
