inside a mental hospital, in one of the cells is a patient in a straight jacket and a strange device on his head, a doctor opened up the cell and walked in, accompanied by a security gaurd, the doctor pulled out a needle and slowly walked twords the patient, when the whole room began to shake, a bomb had gone off on the roof, both the gaurd and doctor were taken by suprise, the patient took the oppertunity and jumped at the gaurd and literally bit his throat out, he then started smashing his head on the doctors head violently and continuously until the device on his head was destroyed and the doctor was dead, he shook off the ruined device and slowly walked out of the cell and down the hallways, the hospital was in complete disseray

Another patient in the hospital came walking out of his room. A nurse rushed to stop him but he slashed a sign in the air with a finger and she collapsed. He glanced over at Fear, his dark curly hair a mess, and winked.

 

"People aren't tools, and she's technically not part of our family," snapped Carullo back angrily, and he grabbed Olivia's arm and kept running. Gwen had pushed it this time.

the patient who was a former serial killer known as Fear looked at the other patient  with curiosity, he didnt seem like a threat so he started to walk off until a security gaurd ran up to him, he turned around to face the security gaurd and stared at him, the guard  started freaking out and then preceded to jump out a window, Fear slowly started walking in a direction

 

the top of the building was on fire

"Do not treat me like i'm a fool, I find that insulting. I know that your not normal." He said as he sipped on his coffee. "You probably already know what I am, so how about you really introduce yourself." He suggested as he took another sip of his coffee, taking a plstic spoon and eating some of the whipped cream off the top.

Suddenly a few runes glowed in front of Fear and a voice called, "Wouldn't step on those, unless you wanna get stuck."

 

The curly haired man approached easily, a companionable smile on his face.

 

"The famous Fear," he said in a slightly mocking tone. "Finally free at last."

 

Snip.

Suddenly Illium lost her cute smile as it became more sinister. "You wanna play games, huh? You'll find I'm not a willing participant." She had lost the accent she previously had and it now sounded more Greek; her voice was even more compelling than before. She then sat back up and reverted to her old facial expression and tone. "Good joe here, really."

Fear turned to face him, "who are you?" he spoke in a very creepy tone, he still had the straight jacket on, he was still unsure of this person he met, he could easily make him go insane but he decided to watch him

 

the building started to burn more as the fire decended, the fire department arrived

*Lester's chakrams appeared once again, this time, there were three of them. He let them go and they floated in the air, one above each of their heads. Flashes of light came from the center of each one, blinding them for a second, then, when their vision came back, they found themselves in an old abandoned baseball field.*

"I used to come here as a kid to explore."

*Lester explained as one of the three chakrams dissapeared and the other two floated back into his hands.*

"Its been abandoned since before I was born, seems like the perfect place to have a fight."

*Lester walked next to Sasha and grabbed her hand in his own. Sasha raised an eyebrow.*

 

"What do you think you are doing?"

*She asked sounding annoyed.*

 

"Come on, if we fight him together then there is no way that we can loose."

*He said with a confident smile. Sasha, who had been feeling quite cold since the fiasco with her father that morning, felt warmth for the first time that day. Lester was so confident, so calm, it helped Sasha get out of her slump. She smiled in return and gripped his hand back.*

 

"Yeah."

*She said. The two of them turned towards Maven, ready to face this new foe, the strength of their bond was overwhelmingly strong. So much so that it was almost palpable.*

The man lazily carved more symbols into the air and the doors magically barred with another rune combination burning brightly on every exit. Patients were screaming and with a few more waves they were all mute.

 

"Much better," purred the man as he looked back at the person in front of him. "I just wanted a thank you."

 

He thought for a moment, then carved something on his chest. He glowed a blood red colour now, and he smiled.

"Mental protection rune. Useful."

"Games weren't exactly what I was looking for, but partnership sounds a bit more of what I was thinking." He commented, staying in his seat and sipping on his coffee again. "Definitely demonic, but something very sinister and controlling for a power... Succubus? No, maybe a Siren?" He said with a grin.

Fear started walking "need to get out of this" he struggles with the straight jacket as he walked along the hall way, looking for a way to the flower floors

 

the fire fighters started moving up and the hospital was evacuated

"Coming from the guys who just wish to benefit themselves huh," Tartaros muttered as he sprang after the two. Another bombing, this time a mental hopsital.

Tartaros nodded as he neared the building, crashing through a cracked window as he zipped through air. He began searching for the culprits, and clung to the ceiling and camouflaged. He noticed two individuals, one obviously an escaped patient. The other was a stranger.

Butajiri felt the three inside the building. He recognized Tartarus' energy signature, the one he was looking for. He walked in through the main entrance and dusted off his white clothes.

Immediately, Tartaros sensed Butajiri's malignant energy increase in the hospital. He could tell he was actively searching for him, and his intentions were not friendly since the symbiotic's senses were acting up like crazy. He traveled to his location to deal with the more dangerous threat.

"Didn't know I made such an impression that'd you want to meet with us again," Tartaros hissed as he dropped a couple of yards away from him and made himself visible. He assumed his more feral stance, his six giratendrils pointing towards him and dripping with a dreadful poison.

"I finish what I start." Butajiri said as he drew the Banshee shriek and extended the handle to let out its fleshy extension. "Let's see how you hold up against my swords weakest trick: The Shrill Call Of The Reaper!" He twirled the sword above his head, creating a deafeningly loud wail that sounded like a hundred people crying out at once. Butajiri seemed unaffected by this.

Illium sipped her coffee. "Now expluan to me why I should pair up with your little gypsy band, if I was, to say, a siren."

 

(OoC: Uhm, Skull, he locked all the doors magically...how did the fire department get in?)

 

The man hhmphed and touched himself again, this time magically changing his clothes from a hospital gown to a plain t shirt and jeans.

*Sasha and Lester looked at each other and smiled. Lester held his hand up in front of him, his charam floating and spinning above it. Sasha put her hands around it and out of one hand came darkness energy, and out of the other came light energy. The two energies spiraled around the chakram raisong its power by unknown, but highly powerful incriments.*

"Lets play catch!"

*Lester shouted as he threw the combo attack chakram at Maven, its range expanding to create an unblockable attack. Whatver it hit, it would explode upon with great power."

Immediately as the shrill cry rang out, Tartaros held the side of his head and screeched angrily. His symbiotic produced tendrils at random, bothered by the loud pitched sounds.

"We aren't among the first.... here on this earth, we are more resistant to this nuisciance," he snarled as he sprang to a different location. He clung to the side of a pillar, and pointed out his claws, and fired small spikes which contained a virulent sleeping poison, and hissed as they quickly drew near towards Butajiri.

"I wouldn't call a full fledged underground crime organization a gypsy band, but my answer depends all on what you want. Whatever it is i could easily do my best to assist you in that matter. So tell me what is it you want?" He asked. "We could also supply you with enough dabloons to buy a better set of clothing, by the way." He added.

"And that sounds like what I'm going home to, though maybe 'fully fledged' isn't the best term for the fools I worked for," mused Illium. "See, I don't NEED you to get what I want-look at me." She gave a wry grin. "No, that won't convince me. Wealth and power, I don't need that."

Maven continued standing still. The ground beneath him cracked a little. He let the chakram hit him dead on. The remains of his body were contorted and shredded, but all in one piece. His body lifted up from the dirt, revealing a long arm attached to his feet. Maven sprouted out of the ground and pulled his arm back, with the fake copy of him still replacing his hand. "Let's just say, I'm really flexible." he said. "The Maven you just attacked was my left hand." His fake body formed back into the shape of his hand. "The real damage is little more than a paper cut." he said, licking a fresh wound on his hand. "Don't be too discouraged. This is an impossible fight." He held out his right hand and a beating heart formed in it, covered by skin, before retracting into his body. "I can shift all of my organs around to wherever I want. Think of it as finding a needle in a haystack, only the needle is constantly moving around and the hay is trying to kill you."

Butajiri held out his sword and stayed his ground. "CHORUS OF A THOUSAND SKULLS!" the sword obeyed, creating hundreds of ghostly skulls that whisked through the air at Tartarus, destroying any spikes in their way.

Damon thought for a moment. "Alright, how about this. I'm guessing that since you are evidently a siren, you are going to need to kill people. We can offer you the freedom of doing so without having any type of police on your back. The police already resent the rebels since they are against their government, and even if they did want their help they would know that we would crush them if they tried." He explained

"How interesting," Tartarus said as he quickly evaded the barrage of ghostly skulls. He lashed his tendrils at the ground and ripped out an extremely large chunk of concrete, and hurled it strongly at his enemy. Tartaros was merely studying his opponent, deciding to show off his "weak" tricks as well to lower his guard and plan his moves carefully.

"Then I guess Ill go on a little tidbit from my old man."

*Lester said.*

"He has been talking to me in my mind for several days now, and here is his advice for this fight. When searching for a needle in a haystack, the answer is a simple one. Burn the hay."

*Lester smiled. A new chakram appeared in his hand to replace the previous one. They spun around in his hands fast, really fast. Eventually, they were going so fast that they ignited from the friction with the air. Lester slammed the chakrams down onto the ground, igniting the tall grass around them. The fire quickly spread throught the empty stadium.*

"This fire is special, see? It will only harm who I want it to harm. And right now, the only one I want it to harm, is you yokai boy."

*Lester said with a smile. Sasha knew he was telling the truth, because she was surrounded, engulfed even, by the flames, and it wasnt harming her at all. It was warm actually, in a gentle way. It energized her and got her ready for the task ahead. Maven however would be feeling the heat. Igniting his clothes and burning his skin. The fire spread even more until eventually, the entire stadium, stands included, were ablaze. Everything was burning.*

Illium burst into peals of laughter.

"I may not have been awake since 1923 but even I know that this city is a sinkhole. I could keep the police off my back just fine by myself. Again, siren-I'd those corrupt idiots in the palm

of my hand, no problem. Just a few well placed words and the right amount of skin and you've got yourself an army."

Butajiri jumped up, allowed the boulder to hit bellow is feet, and landed on top of it. "You need to be more observent." he said.

 

The skulls hadnt stopped chasing Tartarus, and were now only inches away from his back with their mouths opened wide. The ones in front started to bite into him.
