Night  Hawk charged the group of soilders he shoulder bashes the first one, knocking him down, he grabbed another garuds assault rifle and upprcutted him sending him to the ground, he stabbed one of them in he neck with his arm blade,  he selected semi auto and put a round in 2 of them, he then finished off the 2 on the ground

The soldiers engaging Night Hawk fired their weapons, though this time they had switched to blasts of flame to better deal with his tough armor. They did the same with Tartaros, being advised by the leader that his kind were weak to heat.

Tartaros growled angrily as he felt the heat from their weaponry, and instantly used all six of his giratendrils to impale one soldier on each and slam them onto the ground. He outstretched both sets of claws and fired darts from each of them, hitting three on his side and two on Night's side with a poisonous substance that would cause the troops cells to quickly turn on their major organs. Good kills, but a weapon made its mark on Tartaros's torso, making him grasp his chest in pain as the flames tried to work their way across his body..

"Little help here?"

Tartaros swiped at his chest and ripped off part of the burning parts, and then snapped up aanother guard to heal himself faster. The pain lessened slightly afterwards.

Carullo heard the commotion and grabbed Olivia, speeding up time's passage around them so they moved at a quick speed. However, some guards noticed them and opened fire. Carullo was already tired and he half-heartedly tried to stop the bullets; however, a thick fog seemed to roll in out of nowhere, and the bullets missed anyways. Olivia was stony faced and she suddenly whipped around, forcing Carullo to stop.

More guards approached out of the darkness and Olivia's face darkened with anger. She stormed forwards fearlessly, and Carullo couldn't muster enough energy to freeze her. He stumbled after her but it was too late; they were fired at.

Carullo tried to shove Olivia down but suddenly the bullets stopped and started to float about uselessly. Olivia's face was now purple and suddenly the guards faces also were as they writhed in agony, until they all collapsed like deflated balloons.

Liv slumped forwards and Carullo caught her in shock. It wasn't possible that she had powers; Gwen would know. But the evidence was painfully clear; no one had anything like what he had just witnessed.

He sat with her in the street, stroking her hair as he shook slightly.

*Lester couldnt believe what he had just seen. That cop had shot Sasha. No mercy at all.*

You are weak child. You cannot even protect the woman you love. But I can help you. Let me in, and take your revenge on this fool.

*Lester's eyes began to glow flame red. His brown hair began to change flame red as well. His ears became pointed and his teeth became sharp. He pulled his arms out and broke the duct tape that kept him bound there and tore off the skirt. He turned towards Damon*

 

"Blink."

*He said in a demonic voice. Then he appeared right in front of Damon with his hand on his neck, then they both dissapeared, re-appearing just outside the city limits. Lester threw Damon to the ground and held his arms out. Two sparks of fire appeared at his hands and spawned a powerful looking chakram in each.*

 

"Get on your feet!"

*Lester shouted.*

"Behave so I can kill you!"

*Meanwhile, back at Weiss' apartment, Anna was screaming. She had just witnessed her best friend get shot and her new roommate turn into some sort of demon thing and vanish with the guy who had shot her. Whats worse, the guy who smelled like a wet do. Was holding her and keeping her from moving. Thats when someone creeped up behind Rufus, and whacked him on the back of his head with a steel guitar. A hit that would knock out most people.*

"Ya mind lettin tha lady go? Her screamin gets annoyin."

*The character said. It was Alex King, in all his glory.*

Night Hawk went to the next group of soilders and slid into one causing the soilder to fall, he impailed him on his arm blade,  he felt heat blasts hit him he punched one in the face and took his weapon, still holding the assault rifle, he shot an energy burst at the leader, he then placed the barrel of the assualt rifle under a soilders chin and fired, he kicked the last one off the roof and ran to the next group

Fire got up from the ground, slightly chuckling. "Well, that escalated quickly." He said as he spawned a black sword and readied his fire magic. "So your a demon too?" He asked "Not a very controlled one I see." He said as his eyes started to glow under his sunglasses.

 

Rufus dropped Anna abruptly, then turned around, slightly unaffected. "Alexander King, rockstar." He snarled as he readied himself. "I like my music how I like my weapons. Heavy, and Metal." He said.

Tartaros kept on dragging struggling soldiers into the second pair of jaws which had opened on his body, allowing him to replenish his energy and health more quickly. He fired more darts at some other soldiers, but roared angrily as he saw a few more choppers heading in their direction.

"We''re going to have to slay these guys faster or simply boot out, more are coming on their way!"

Fenyw shook her head. "All right, listen-this ain't no game. That door won't let anyone in unless it wants to, and even if they knew where you were and could even get in, this sewer has more hiding places than I can count, and more than a few things that could take out mechs or ops easily. Sewer's aren't a forgiving place to those who don't treat them right."

She then glanced at the wine. "Enjoying it? Isn't it invigorating?"

Fire got up from the ground, slightly chuckling. "Well, that escalated quickly." He said as he spawned a black sword and readied his fire magic. "So your a demon too?" He asked "Not a very controlled one I see." He said as his eyes started to glow under his sunglasses.

*Lester ignored Fire's words and threw the chakrams at him. They collided right in front of Fire and burst in a huge explosion. Two more chakrams appeared in Lester's hands and he threw them as well. He continued this over and over again untill he could not see through the raised dust from the explosions. He made two more chakrams and remained in a ready position, ready for an attack from any angle.*

"I respect yer tast. In music guy. But yer buddy just shot an old friend of mine. And you just grabbed another old friend of mine. So I must give you the honors of a good old fasioned duel."

*King flipped the guitar around in his hands, ready to play. It was an unusual guitar, it had a small set of speakers built into it.*

"Ready?"

Rufus looked conflicted for a second, but always loved a good challenge. "Do you plan on fighting like man or using mystical instruments?" He asked with his mace hovering over Anna.

 

After a few seconds Damon came from behind with a cheap shot with his sword, attempting to stab it through Lester's lower body. He still had a chakram stuck in his shoulder from the last attack.

(So, I'm doing the mission with myself, then?)

 

All of the guards that were stationed outside of the compound were very easy to avoid. Butajiri shed his human disguise and became an Imp, a small, winged humanoid that looked a lot like a bird to any mercenaries who watched him fly above their heads, high up in the clouds. After descending onto the roof, things would get more tricky. He was on the roof of the three story building, his target was in the basement level.

 

A cloud of smoke formed around him, and he emerged human again. His timing had paid off, a lone guard was making his rounds on a balcony a few feet below him. When he was directly beneath, Butajiri dropped from the roof and cupped the guards mouth and nose before he hit the floor. He held it for a few seconds before his eyes closed, and he dragged the unconscious body around a corner.

"Nngh, fine."

*King turned his guitar around and held it like a club.*

"But the same rule applies to you dog boy. No magical or supernatural jazz, got it?"

*Lester jumped into the air and did a backflip over Fire's attack, landed on the chakram stuck in his shoulder, kicked it down to damage him more, the landed softly on the ground behind him.*

"I can have control if I want."

*He said in his demonic voice.*

"Why did you kill her?"

*Lester demanded.*

(OoC: Yep. Take as much or little time as you want. You'll be teaming up with others later )

 

Carullo drew a small phial out of his pocket. It was half empty already and read "Adfywio". The liquid was a shimmering, soft grey colour. He pulled out a second, this one reading "Wrin Llygod Mawr", which was like a slightly more yellow white wine. Dropping a few droplets on his tongue, he waited a moment, and suddenly felt totally reinvigorized. Taking the Adfywio was only for desperate situations as a bottle could only be made every fifteen years, but Gwen was tougher than she looked, and he needed it. The other was in abundance, but it helped.

After putting a few drops on Liv's tongue he gave her a shake. She sat up quickly and without a word walked towards the bombing site. Carullo wasn't offended this time; it could have disorienting effects your first time.

Rufus grinned with a nod, he started by swinging his mace towards King breaking straight through the walls foundations and it scraped it. 

 

Lenny got up from his seat. He took the car bringing a few goons with him, remembering what address Damon was going to. "If you want somethin' done you are probably going to have to do it yourself." He thought as he drove.

 

"Well, if she's anything like you, I doubt she is dead." He said irritably as he abruptly pulled the chakram out and threw it away. "Bosses orders buck-o. She assassinated her dad, an ally of ours, so we returned fire. It's pretty simple." He explained.

*King blocked Rufus' swing with his guitar, then noticed something.*

"Pause for a sec, bro."

*He sat down with the guitar on his lap and quickly and efficiently, took all of the strings off the guitar.*

"Cant risk thise breaking now cam we. They are quite expensive to get made. Now, where were we?"

*Lester simply glared at Damon.*

"You think she was happy to give the fire order on her own father? Do you know how devestated she was?! It was tearing her apart! (LISA!)"

*Lester held his chakrams at his front and side.*

"She may not have died, but this son of Sparda is not going to let you get away to try again."

Rufus growled and swung his mace underhand towards King's face, like a metal uppercut. 

 

"She did it nonetheless. Like I give a damn if she was happy or not." Damon said harshly. As he shifted his magic, the fireballs now appeared to made out of some sort of black fire now. He ran at him, using a fire portal to come from behind and explode the powerful blast point blank at his back.

Butajiri decided against wearing the guards clothes. He did, however, take a set of keys from his belt loop and a small knife. The doors were too heavily guarded to sneak into, but he noticed a much safer aproach, a ventilation duct above him was obviously too small for any human to fit through, but an imp could fit in with room to spare. He transformed again and used his sharp claws to unscrew the bolts in the wall and remove the panel. He squeezed in and crawled as lightly as he could, going down whenever he was given the option, in order to help him reach the basement.

 

After crawling through the walls for several minutes, he looked through a grate bellow him to see that th floor wasn't carpeted. Instead, it was grey marble. 'Human architecture makes this much to easy. I doubt I will even need a map.' he thought. He opened the grate and dropped down into the basement floor. He took a quick glance at his map and recognized the structure of the hallway. The wall behind him had his prize.

*King blocked the mace's uppercut and pushed it away and swung his guitar back around and slammed it into Rufus' face several times.*

"Come on, that all you got?"

*He taunted.*

*Lester blinked forward enough to not be hit by the full force of the explosion, but still taking some damage from it. It burned off his shirt for one thing, and caused minor burns on Lester's back. He ignored the pain and turned back at Damon. Lester then threw on of the chakrams at Damon. This time, instead of exploding, it turned aroind, slashing across his chest before returning to Lester's hand.*

The last swing Rufus countered, grabbing the guitar and pulling it towards him, bringing king with it. He then clothes-lined him to the ground with his large fist before bringing his mace up and swinging it down towards his chest.

 

Damon slightly cringed, but then chuckled as if he slightly enjoyed the pain that was caused to him. "Your anger is going to get the better of you this time." He commented as he dashed towards Lester with his sword, lighting it on fire and ready to parry any attack as he stabbed it at him.

*King quickly rolled out of the way of the mace and wrenched his guitar back out from Rufus' hand.*

"Phew, that was close."

*He said as he stood up and regained his fighting stance.*

*Lester reacted quickly and smartly. He parried Damon's dword downwards with one chakram, and with the other, he slashed that across Damon's face, leaving a nasty gash.*

"Im not as uncontrolled as you think. Dont underestimate me."

Damon let the sword go, de-spawning it. He fired off a concussive blast into Lester's chest. After that he grabbed him by the arms, heating up his hands to burn him in hopes he would drop the Chakrams while he couldn't slash at him either. "I think i've over estimated you so far..." He commented with a smirk.

 

Rufus snarled as he grew impatient. He expected one target, not three and a useless human. In his enraged mood, he swung his mace, this time with more than enough force to outpower King's strength.

*Lester began to scream in pain. He couldnt be losing to this guy. There is no way, no way he could loose.*

"I WONT LOSE TO YOU!!!"

*Lester's eyes began to glow red again, but more intensely this time. Something began to grow from his temples. It was a set of horns that curled around his head. His skin turned from its normal paleness, to a flame red, and a black mark appeared around his left eye. Lester's power began to burn the very air around them. Lester grabbed Damon's wrists right back and flipped him over, slamming him onto the ground. His chakrams floated back up into his hands, and he began to stab at Damon repetedly and fiercely.*

*King was about to be overpowered, when something began to crawl up Rufus' leg. It was a black shadow. It crawled high up Rufus' body and began to bind him. Too tight for him to escape from. Behind him, stood Sasha, the hole in her face mostly healed, but still covered in blood.*

"Dont you dare hurt him."

*She said to Rufus angrily with loathing in her tone.*

Damon slightly grinned, knowing he was started to make him reckless. "You are inferior, half human." He said before he was abruptly slammed into the ground. Lester got in a few stabs before Damon spawned two knives parry chakrams from stabbing anymore. He then used his strength to kick him in the chest as hard as he could, easily enough to throw him a few feet away and leave him winded.

 

Rufus noticed he was in a bad position. He tried to free himself but failed, he used his magic to try to pick up his face and throw it at Weiss to interrupt her spell.

 

"But I will." A voice said from behind King. A clink sound was heard as Lenny fired a modified sawn-off double barreled shotgun into King's back. It was modified to take down more magical targets.

Butajiri followed along the wall before reaching its end at a new hallway. He peeked around the corner to see that the door to the adjacent room was being guarded by two armed men. Still in Imp form, he crawled onto the ceiling and crept above their heads. He didn't have much time to think of a way to kill them both silently, but he remembered the knife he had taken from one of the other guards. He pulled it out, and fell from the ceiling, landing the knife in the first guard's back and jumping off.

 

The second guard didn't notice until after the first hit the ground. By then, Butajiri had enough time to jab his right claw through the back of his neck.

 

He opened the door with the stolen keys and was surprised to see a room full of crates. He expected to see the item on a cliche pedestal under a glass cover. He closed the door and opened the first crate he saw after checking the map again to make sure he was in the correct room. After looking through several containers of valuables he found the cube in an ivory box (Which he had to break into.) He put the cube in his small bag and left the room the way it was.

 

As he made his way outside of the compound he noticed that he hadn't encountered nearly as many guards a he had expected, aside from the occasional patrol. He cautiously mase his way to the nearest window on a second story bathroom and pushed it open. He threw his bag out first, then crawled out and dusted himself off. When he looked up, he saw five guards, all pointing guns at him.

 

"Stop, and we'll shoot!" One said.

 

Butajiri looked confused. "Don't you mean, 'Stop, or we'll shoot?'"

 

"We know what we said! Kill him!" The guards all opened fire on him. Before the bullets could hit him, he was engulfed in a cloud of smoke. Butajiri had transformed again and subsequently each shot had missed it's originally smaller target.

 

The Imp used the time of confusion to take flight in a zigzag pattern with the bag in his grip. The guards continued to shoot, but werent able to keep up.

Hunter shook his head "every man needs some form of hope to grasp onto, i havnt given up hope yet, and yes, i am rather enjoying this wine, im suprised you found some in this quality down here" he takes a sip

Night hawk looked at the incoming choppers "really?" he sighs then looks down and got an idea, he picked up two of the energy weapons and shot fire blasts at one of the helicopter, the helicopter manuvered to try to avoid but crashed into another helicopter, they both crashed to the street and exploded  "now we run" he picked up an assault rifle and and deployed his cape and jumped off the building and glided to a near by one
