Damon nodded. "Alright Allison, I guess we better get going." He said with a slight kind smile as he started off. "So where are ya from?" He asked.

 

Lenny walked out of the room, noticing Frey. "Bored eh?" He said as he sat down across from him. "Me and you both then, Damon always has to bring me to this place when he drives..." He sighed,

Lenny walked out of the room, noticing Frey. "Bored eh?" He said as he sat down across from him. "Me and you both then, Damon always has to bring me to this place when he drives..." He sighed,

Illium just grinned. "Well I ain't from here, that's no question. And how about ya?"

She kept her guard up, running responses in her mind to any questions he may ask. She generally just liked to deflect questions back on their asker.

In truth, Illium was from the Sirenuse islands where she had resided with her two sisters before she changed her name and fled thousands of years ago. She had tired of routine and desired change.

"Romania, actually." Damon said. "I moved here after a few years though." He added. "I somewhat regret it, the scenery back then is quite a bit better than here, but cities have their perks." He explained with a shrug. Damon still wondered what Illium really was, he couldn't put his finger on it, but he knew she wasn't normal.

"Romania's pretty 'nough," agreed Illium, as she grinned at a staring passerby. "Got a good pal there, or used to anyways."

She remembered she was still wearing the baggy shirt and pajama pants, but the other guys and girls on the street didn't seem to mind. She made a show of walking, cocking her head so the sun lit up her hair in the perfect position, and if it wasn't for the politeness of the people they probably would have oohed at her.

"So watcha do for a livin'?" she asked Damon innocently.

"You almost sound like a traveler." He chuckled. Damon slightly paused when she asked what his job was, due to the fact his real job wasn't very friendly. "Well, I do help out at the nightclub I was outside of. Besides that I volunteer at a few different places." He said as he noticed the coffee shop coming into view now.

*King and Lester both winced. They knew how strong Sasha was, dispite her weak appearance, and they knew a blow like that would have made even The Hulk topple over in pain.*

"I got no problem with this." Frey said. "I know Ill find something to occupy. I got a problem with Clay, though. Big, dumb jerk, I say. Always had a foul air around him. Cant handle a fight or a thought! In fact, I rather hope somethin' happens to him... err... dont tell Maven I said that."

"S'pse you could say I am," said Illium with a smile. She hadn't been to Romania in years, not since the late 1800's anyways, and she knew that the person she had me there was long dead by now.

"Club manager? Bouncer? What in specific?" she continued, noticing the shop as well. "And what sorta volunteering?"

"Club manager mostly, but bouncer if needed. Volunteering for whatever there really is, packing bags at a grocery store, animal volunteering, that sort of thing." He explained as he reached the door. What he said was true, but he left out a few of the more important things. "Ladies first" He said as he opened it. 

 

"Oh, if those two are goin' where we jus' were i'm pretty sure somethin' is gonna happen to em." Lenny chuckled.

Clay cringed and hurtled over in pain. Maven uttered two words, "Quest class."

 

"That was... I wasn't ready..." Clay huffed. He tried to stand up, but fell back to his knees. "I think... I punctured... something!" He managed back to his feet. "Human bitch!" He yelled as he charged at Sasha for a punch.

*Sasha, being a black belt in Judo, dodged the punch, grabbed his wrist and broke his arm with a strong attack with her elbow, then flipped him onto his back.*

"Maybe next time someone tells you you shouldnt enter, you wont enter."

*She said as she stomped her foot onto Clay's chest.*

"That is, if there was a next time."

*A powerful looking spear appeared in Sasha's hand.*

"So! How ya feel about diein? Sound fun to you?"

"Well ain't you just the community man," said Illium with another disarming smile. She then said "thank you," as he held the door open and she stepped inside.

It was a bit unnerving, all the chatter and movement, after she had spent years-decades, really-in a box. While it was the blink of an eye for her, all this new technology was odd.

"Indeed." He slightly laughed as he walked inside. He walked up to the counter and ordered what he usually did, which he called the 'Diabeetus Deluxe.' He paid for the drink, and then gave Illium ten dollars to pay for whatever she wanted. He then found a table and waited for Illium to order herself. "I suggest whatever today's special is." He said.

Illium stared at the odd currency in her hand. She disliked receiving any sort of favour, so instead she turned to the man at the cash and leaned over, letting him glimpse down her shirt just a little as she glanced up and gave him her widest smile, which drew attention from all the other patrons.

"Sorry, I really cannot decide what to get!" she said chirpily, adjusting her shirt so it rode a little lower. The man tried not to stare and swallowed, tapping his fingers on the counter.

"Now ya sure look like a boy with....fine tastes," she said, lowering her voice to a husky whisper. "Whaddya think a gal like me would want?"

The man gestured to a random brew of coffee quickly, flushing under her stare. Suddenly he seemed to get glazed and he got her coffee without asking payment. 

"Well colour me surprised, ya really don't have to do that!" said Illium with perfectly practiced emotion, and the man waved her off, insisting he paid for her.

"You're a doll," said Illium, giving him a peck on the cheek, and all the men in the room suddenly looked angry or jealous as she skipped over to sit with Damon, slipping him his money.

"How nice!" she said with a grin.

Clay turned to the other cloaked figure. "Maven... Help me beat her. I..."

 

The other cloaked figure extended its hand. A long, gnarled finger extended from the cloak's sleeve and pierced Clay's skull and brain. It then curled back into the users hand.

 

 

 

"Maybe Clay, but Maven? No." Frey said. "He's got the coldest wind around him I ever seen."

*Sasha looked over at Maven and began casually stabbing Clay's corpse with the spear.*

"So, who are you guys anyway?"

*King and Lester looked slightly frightened.*

"Im gonna go check and see if Anna is awake!"

"So, who are you guys anyway?"

"Im gonna go check and see if Anna is awake!"

"Yokai." Maven said in a short answer. He gently slipped out of his robe. He was bald and had brown eyes. His clothes were a tight black shirt and baggy black pants with a red belt and sandals. "Legend says we used to be humans. Honestly I can't remember." He licked the blood off his finger.

"Dude, has she always been this terrifying?"

*Lester asked King*

 

"Only when she is mad, so dont get her mad, or she will castrate you like she did that big guy."

"Demons who beg for help against a human don't deserve to live." Maven said. "Clay was a weak, honorless pig. I'm better off without him." He tilted his head. "But I hope you understand why you need to die as well. Any human above an E class power rating tends to attract a lot of demons. It is a mistake that you were ever given life. I must fix this error."

*Sasha looked dully at Maven.*

"You really think you have the ability to defeat me?"

*Sasha stepped off of Clay's corpse. Darkness began to rise from the ground and surround her. It then attached to her body and formed an incredibly strong armor.*

"Lets see you try it punk. But not here. My apartment has been wrecked enough for one day, and I don't want any more damage. This stuff is expensive you know."

 

*Lester looked up, he felt a strong power activating.*

"Im, gonna go check on Sasha."

*He said, King shrugged, and Lester walked out of the living room and out into the foyer and saw Sasha in the armor.*

"Hey, want a hand?"

 

(Koenma, have Maven recognize Lester's energy as similar to the demon warlord Sparda. Thats who his father is.)

Illium smiled questioningly, pretending not to understand.

"New pick up line? Heard em all before, trust me," she said with a little laugh. "Back in my modelling days, well hoo boy did I ever get some of them. Very irritating, see, cuz I like forward men. Much easier."

 

Gwen lay on a new rooftop, breathing hard. She grabbed a new bomb out of her pouch, and tapped a few keys. Legs spindled out and stuck deep into the cement as she sprung away. Shortly after, the bomb swelled to an enourmous size and exploded violently.

Maven watched Lester enter the room, ignoring Sasha completely for the moment. "That's not human spirit energy." His neck stretched out and his head extended from his body to look closer at Lester. "It seems I will be able to take care of two problems, you halfbred pig." He said as his neck and head retracted. "Your father's honor is forfeit. I'm killing both of you now, but you may still choose where."

Tartaros could now sense three presences nearby, and when he felt Carullo was just within earshot, he yelled out.

"I think your leader needs to have a better grip on her tools."

He sensed Butajiri was near also, his scent being all too recognizable. However, he ignored him, and decided to think how would deal with the situations at hand...
