"Nice, so from the looks of it your warriors are more than capable of fending for themselves," Tartaros said. However, as soon as he finished speaking he froze and turned his attention to what was virtually empty space.

 

*In a large underground area of an official government building, a number of soldiers and the Spec Ops all rallied and made formations as their commander approached the stage to speak to them.

"Soldiers, as you have all been informed and most likely have noticed these past few weeks, there has been an increase in rebel activity throughout the province of Eastros. Most of you are working efficiently to neutralize these annoyances, but..."

The commander pulled up an interactive screen, showing various glimpses of outside forces moving inside the province with loads of equipment meant for war.

"We believe they've managed to get the help of the disgusting race of creatures known as the Sashiilians. A squad of them were spotted traveling near the southeastern divison of Eastros, most likely plotting with a hidden base near the abandoned factories. We want you all to go and slaughter them like the animals they are, and find whatever rebels and trespassers you can and cut them all down."

The group of Spec Ops stepped forward and turned to face the regular soldiers.

"With us," one of them said, "Our success is inevitable."

The soldiers seemed inspired to be able to work with the government's top forces, but a thought lingered in most of their minds. If this was just a simple rebel group elimination assignment, why enlist the help of such a powerful group? None of them dared to ask, and simply saluted their officer as they were ordered to head out.*

 

Back at the Sewer Base, Tartaros snarled as he snapped out of his trance. 

"What a useful pet that idiot Spec Op turned out to be," he said as he sharpened his claws with his back tendrils and turned to Schwartz. "Your soldiers are about to face a threat, and as talented as they may be, I don't think 200 of them can resist the force of not only about 500 government soldiers, but a group of Eastros's most feared team, Spec Ops..."

He called Night Hawk and Rocketeer, and informed them of what he had seen through his infected Spec Op.

Damon looked around the table, he simply grabbed a glass of wine and sipped it down over the course of a minute. After that he realized he got his bearings of the room and walked back to his own room. He made a mental copy of the dress uniform in case he needed to know later. He then used a portal and teleported out back to his own apartment.

The Rocketeer sighed "thats not good, you and night hawk formulate a  plan, ill go talk to out "packages" " he walked over to cell with carullo and olivia "hi there,sorry about this, we are under a bit of stress and we over reacted a bit, can you tell me your names?"

Carullo snorted at him. "Your little friend attempted to attack us," he said in an accusatory tone. "I don't think anyone in their right mind would want to be knocked out and shoved in a box and yet we're treated as criminals."

 

Beside him Olivia nodded. "I'm guessing you're the rebels?" she said rudely. "Looks like the government was right for once, you're just armed thugs, attacking two innocents like that."

"we are not a bunch of thugs" he  unlocked the cell "look im sorry, we were on edge, i apologize, and i will talk to him about it, and you say you were attacked? it would explain why you were in boxes...do you have any idea who attacked you?" the rocketeer talked in a calm voice

"Maybe," said Carullo stubbornly. He actually gad no clue but if they were going to act this way he might as well allude to things he didn't know.

Olivia rolled her eyes. "We managed to knock ourselves out and get into boxes, right," she said with emphasis. "Then we fully wake up in a prison filled with idiots. I'm so up for this!"

The Rocketeer looked at Olivia "look, i understand that your frustrated, and you sound like youve been through a lot, he looked back at carullo "if you know anything about your attacker, we will try to locate them...and" looking at the stab wound he had "that stab wound looks pretty bad, ill get a medic to help you out, its the least i can do"

"Um, Im a medic."

*Riza said. She turned to Carullo.*

"I can heal that for you really quickly, If you will let me."

*She said calmly. Riza hoped Carullo would let her heal him, she hated seeing others hurt and she always did what she could to help them. It was her job, and it was what she was best at.*

"Um, Im a medic."

*Riza said. She turned to Carullo.*

The television was still set on the local news. A reporter was having an interview with a high ranking police officer in a crouded street.

 

 

"And how long do you think it will take for the Rebel's terrorist threats to worsen?" The reporter asked.

 

"I don't think it will take long at all. They've already made it very clear that they have no regard for human life. They're clearly lying about their intentions. Of course it's only a matter of time before they start asking for money." The officer replied. "I am working with the city's finest to make sure that that doesn't happen..."

 

Amongst the people walking in the back ground was Maven. He stopped when he was in view of the camera and stared into it as if he could see everyone watching.

"Right then, Night Hawk!"

Tartaros motioned for Night Hawk to approach him so that he could lay out a plan of action.

"As you know, the government forces have issued an attack on the incoming and remaining Sashiilian troops near the Southeastern border," Tartaros recounted, pointing at a map on the board.

"They have close to 500 regular soldiers, and a group of Spec Ops with them to lead. Time is limited, so we cant really perform a distraction technique...."

Tartaros paused for a few seconds as he thought, and then resumed his speech.

"Take about 600 of your men, but arm them well, they'll need it to fight properly against these trained soldiers and at least resist the Spec Ops. Hmm... take another small section of men and use them to personally guard the Sashiilians, arm them with distraction weapons, stealth mechanisms and paralysis guns. You and I will eliminate any enforcers that get in our way, butthe main priority is to get the Sashiilians into the sewers. Got any more suggestions?"

Night Hawk sighed "its a  nice idea, how ever we dont have that many many troops, hell, we have about 200 tops, how ever we can set an ambush, ill send some of our demo experts ahead of their army and set the entire place to blow, that should take out most of them, the spec ops will probably survive, but me and you can rush in and take them out in the fire and confusion

*Weiss walked into the rebel base. She walked over to the group in the meeting room and held up a detonator.*

"The explosives have been planted in the government base. This detonator will set them off."

*She looked like she had been crying, her eyes, instead of being their usual bright emerald greed, seemed dull and grey. Something was obviously wrong, but she didn't look to be in the mood to talk about what had happened.*

"I heard some guards talking about an attack on the Sashiilian soldiers, so I sent King to go reinforce them."

"Wow, we're that short of soldiers," Tartaros growled as he jumped up and clung to the ceiling. "We're going to have to get our act together soon, there is no way we can succeed in anything major if we're one, small, and two, divided."

Tartaros jumped down from the ceiling and paces around.

"Fine, do what you suggested with the demolition troops, but make sure to emphasize stealth, we can't afford to have our positions blown."

Tartaros noticed Weiss enter, looking dismal. He decided not to bother her, and only congratulated her for thinking ahead.

"Didnt know the famous rockstar was part of this... Night Hawk, we should move now. Weiss, coming?"

Carullo had forgetten about his wound and looked down to see it poorly bound. The throbbing intensified and he felt himself getting weaker, but he shook his head.

"I have no reason to trust you," he said angrily. "And I can heal myself."

He tried to focus on the time flow around the wound to speed the healing process but, in his weak state, only seemed to intensify the wound to the point of him falling unconscious again.

 

Olivia groaned unhappily and got him into a sitting position before glaring at the other two.

"Well, you've got us in a bad place now. Go on and shoot us, get it over with," she spat bitterly.

"Yeah, okay."

*Weiss said dully.*

"Just let me do this."

*Riza said, she knelt down next to Carullo and put her hands over his wound. The wound began to glow and slowly began to close up. Once the wound was closed, Riza sat back and breathed heavily for a few seconds.*

"There, all done."

The Rocketeer spoke softly "i have no reason to shoot you, we are not a bunch of murderous thugs like the goverment" he stepped by once carullo fell down ( @, ) "Riza, get him to a medical ward and stabilize him"

Night Hawk nodded "im sending a message to our demo experts on what to do and where to go"

"So should we start now, or....?"

*Lester turned to look at the screen. He thought he saw Maven, but as soon as the face was there, it was gone.*

"What was....?"

*He mumbled to himself.*

"Whatever, lets get started. Anna, watch the house while we are gone."

 

"Kay!"

*Anna said, still immersed in the game she was playing.*

Olivia suddenly rose and the Rocketeer and Riza were both shoved violently back.

"If you think you can just put us into this mess and then try and play nice, you better forget it," she snarled. "I will personally call the government down on your sorry asses."

Tartaros nodded and turned towards Weiss.

"Hmm... You don't seem like you're in enough focus to fight properly," he said, noticing whatever glumness she had would hinder her performance on the field. "We recommend you stay here..."

Turning back to Night Hawk, he spoke to him.

"Anyhing else we need to discuss before going?"

*Riza was pushed back. She looked very upset.*

"I just want to help! Im not asking anything of you! What did I personally do to hurt you?"

*She was starting to get angry and loosing her usual calm.*

"I have done nothing but try to be kind to you!"

*She put a hand on her head then ran out of the room. She ran over to Schwartz and hugged her.*

"Alpha's waking up."

*Riza said distressed.*

 

"Come on, lets get you somewhere secluded."

*Schwartz said. They went to Schwartz's room and locked the door behind them.*

The Rocketeer stood up "listen, i have tried to be nice to you, i did nothing to you and i had nothing to do with you being attacked and "delivered" to us, and good luck trying to turn us into the goverment, right after you tell them your information they will reward you with a bullet to the face, i have seen this happen, telling the goverment anything is a death trap, now would you please settle down and let us help you and your friend, he needs some medical attention" 

 

(yes i saw riza post, though its still a good idea to put him in a med bay)

Night Hawk shrugged "i dont know, weiss could help us out a lot, lets leave it up to her if she wants to come or not"

"Throws innocents in prison, claims to try to be nice," snapped Olivia harshly at Riza's retreating back before focusing on Carullo again, speaking to him softly and stroking his sweaty hair. She knew he needed medical help soon, but she didn't trust the shifty looking people down here. The boxes had been dumped in violently and the fact that that excuse for a freak had ripped Carullo's open had only further damaged him.

 

"Why should I trust you any further? The rebels are no better, they only seek different government," she said with her back turned still, the force field remaining.

The Rocketeer responded "every memeber of this rebellion is of high moral standards, while i cannot speak for other factions,  this one stands for freedom and equality from the oppressive goverment, we do not simply want a "different goverment" all that will do is set a time bomb for this to start again, many things have to change, and im not lieing to make us sound better, this faction even has the backing of the country of sashill, what ever rumors you heard are not true about this faction" @,

Damon looked around his apartment, he grabbed a few things and then left, his red car parked outside. He opened it and jumped inside, deciding that he should probably look out for someone interesting to fight. He flipped on the stereo, playing "Mindless Self Indulgence- Shut Me Up" as he drove off in search for something to do while he was waiting.
