open Filly Fantasy (resuming)

This is to continue where Cherry Blossom's left off.  So, without further delay, here is the story so far:

 

 

 

From a distance Toushitei watched a church surrounded by what he could only describe as godless abominations. He could only assume that with so many... "creatures" surrounding one specific spot there would be something there that was either of great value, or great importance to them. Either way, it was his task to seize what they wanted in order to protect it. In the unlikely event that they had no bad intentions he could always converse with them afterwards. He slid down the mountainside and rushed towards the church.

 

Leaf Orange was thinking of things, he was daydreaming, he woke up from it after a skelepony pounced on him, he then kicked it off of him, he saw Dawnpath skimming out of a book and Diamond and Red fighting off other skeleponies, he also saw a new pony coming inside the church. "Behind you!" he called out to the newcomer and zapped a skelepony with a thunder spell.

 

Judging by the fact that a more natural looking creature just covered his back Toushitei quickly confirmed who his enemies were. He grabbed a stray support beam and with a deftly executed backflip, followed by a powerful swing of the beam he managed to knock a few of his assailants away.

Though he knew this wasn't exactly the time to ask questions he couldn't resist asking a few anyway. "What's going on here? Who or what are they, and what are they after?"

 

"There, right there," he mumbles, "Aim for the eyes," he called out, then turned to the new pony. The circle followed him as he jogged away from the point of entry, "We are battling those skeleponies for survival. There's a necromancer outside. The skeleponies shouldn't havebeen able to make it in here so easily..."

 

Red decided that it was time for a change of tactics, he looked to Leaf Orange who had just entered the fray, "You! I need you to come with me out the back door!  We're going to die if this keeps up! The problem is that necromancer out there, so let's take care of the problem!"  He looked to Diamond and Dawnpath, "You two cover us, try and hold the line while we go around the side."  Red then let his guitar and amp fade away as he made a dash for the back door.

Cool Bloom stared at the battle around her indoors. It was a crazy battle, and her usual taste for peace wouldn't cut it, and she was just an earth pony. Her only weapon were her tough hooves from walking around on the ice in the Frozen North, as her father sometimes invited her there. "I guess it's time for me to fight."

 

((OOC: Let's do this.))

Diamond nodded at Red and hit a sceleponies head with the metal pole, smashing it to pieces.

 

Then the whole room darkened and chocolate rain began to fall from the ceiling.

A deep cold laugh could be heard as the windows in the church all smashed to tiny pieces.

 

(OOC: Yea...That was a short post.)

Red stopped where he was, nonono NOT NOW!!!!! DAMMIT!!!!

"Everyopony out! NOW!!!! Discord is upon us!" He channeled his magic and conjured a String Bass.  He dug the endpin into the ground and ran the bow over the instrument's four low strings; the sound waves carried from the instrument, down the endpin, and into the ground.  Red looked up just in time to see the Skeleponies all fall into the resulting crevice in the ground outside the church.  He couldn't help but let a smile go with that one.

Leaf Orange suddenly noticed the chocolate rain. "I'll never get the damn song out of my head..." he thought casually. He then heard Red tell everypony to get out of the church. Leaf did as he did so, knocking out skeleponies on the way out.

 

P.S: shouldn't the thread be closed?
