Modphase 1,273 January 9, 2013 Share January 9, 2013 How to get rid of it. Procrastination is one of two things. Either the project is so big that it overwhelms you and intimidates you into doing nothing, or you just don't feel like doing it. If your project is big, you need to use time management. Give yourself a deadline, and put aside a finite amount of time each day to work on it. Don't overwork, as you will burn yourself out, and don't underwork (new word by the way) as you will slowly lose interest. Give yourself a reward for finishing, or a consequence for not. If it's the latter, in which you just don't feel like working, you need to get jazzed up. Trust me, you may not feel like working before you start, but after you start, you will get jazzed up. I usually give myself fifteen minutes to start working on something, and if I don't feel jazzed up by then, I just work on it tomorrow. So those are my tips on dealing with procrastination, I hope they helped. Nice art by the way

Nice art by the way wow thanks for the advice!! really really appreciate it , I think I know what you are talking about, that "feeling" after you start working on something, it's like magic and it pushes you to move forward, awesome indeed!

Glad I could help. I suppose since I'm here I could give you a little bit of critique on your art. Overall, it does look well done, and I like your style. The only real thing that looks off is that she isn't smiling. Giving that this is a sexy pose, she should be smiling a bit, or else she just looks disgruntled.

The way I push myself to do my projects is think about this. Honestly it terrifies me as well. "I need to finish my work, or Hasbro will cancel my little pony." It's like a magic chant that makes me go Mario invincible mode when I do my work... >.> Cheesy, but it kinda works for me. The most logical and practical advice, would be to follow Modphases' advice. 1 Blizzard Gale
PinkiePai 181 January 9, 2013 Share January 9, 2013 Damn, that's pretty amazing. From someone as me, who doesn't even like Rarity that much, this is a 10/10. Also who cares about "important" stuff. Ponies are way more important.
~Chaos~ 3,971 January 9, 2013 Share January 9, 2013 Procrastination really sucks, but this drawing doesn't! I love this so much, I've always loved those glasses she has, and I love the painted style, great job!

moduz94 78 January 9, 2013 Author Share January 9, 2013 Thank you everyone! I really appreciate that you like this drawing that I've made it was a bit of a "new" thing, I wanted to try the more painted look and it seems that the response is 100% positive, I also had a lot of fun making it to be honest @Modphase I get what you think, but a smile wasn't exactly my aim, I wanted to give her that "sexy secretary" look, y'know
Scootalove 10,692 January 9, 2013 Share January 9, 2013 Procrastination not the best thing in the world, but the Rarity picture sure is. A very nice piece of art. I wish I could get rid of Procrastination. Credit: Moony © Forum FAQ Forum Rules
