Opening the bathroom door, Starshy trotted out. She went over to the bed and ploped onto it beside Storm. " So, did you find something? "

Storm draped his wing over Starshy an pulled her close, relishing how amazingly soft her fur was after her shower. "I found a couple good ones but I can tell you don't really like horror movies. If you wanna watch something else I'm totally cool with that. I'm just enjoying spending time with my mare friend." He smiled and gave her a light peck on the lips.

Starshy nuzzled his neck affectionately. " Oh, thank you Storm. Sorry I made it so obvious. " She gave a sheepish grin. " Perhaps after we watch a movie we could head outside for a little while. I'm sure those wings of yours could use a stretch. I'd like to see how fast you are. " She said, winking at him.

"The sky does look very nice today." Snowdream agreed pretending she hadn't heard River's mistake about her being a Pegasus.

 

"So how about that igloo huh?" She asked fdiging her way out of the snow drift for the second time today. Using her magic Snowdream froze a section of soft snow into thick ice, making enough that they would have space to build an igloo on top of it.

River watched as Snowdream worked her snow magic.

 

"Cool, literally" he said impressed by her skill. River checked the ice with his hoof to see if it is actually okay to walk and build on. It seemed safe to him, so he walked to the center of it, where there was a big pile of snow.

 

"So, let's do this," he said and smiled, "wait," he wiped the smile off, "do you know how to build an igloo?" he asked Snowdream.

Okay, what you do is mould the snow into a brick, and build a round wall, when you have made what will feel like thousands of blocks of ice and stacked them all, you will be rewarded with a beautiful round room!" she explained, forming a perfectly rectangle brick with her practiced hooves.

"DUH!" She laughed, pegging a snowball at him. Okay, what you do is mould the snow into a brick, and build a round wall, when you have made what will feel like thousands of blocks of ice and stacked them all, you will be rewarded with a beautiful round room!" she explained, forming a perfectly rectangle brick with her practiced hooves.

River tried to replicate what Snowdream has done, he gathered up some snow with his hooves and tried to make them into a brick. Failing miserably. He looked at what he had accomplished and realized he was doing something wrong. It looked like a cat that swallowed a bird and the bird is stuck in it's throat while the cat is dying, out of snow.

"You making more bricks there?" River asked and turned his look to her.

Snowdream soon got into a steady process of making the bricks and River stacking them. Soon enough the two ponies had their very own igloo.

 

"Looks pretty good!" Snowdream declared, trotting around the igloo inspecting it, "I'd say it's as close to perfect as we're going to get at least."

Snowdream crawled into the small igloo. It was nice, as River had said, but it was quite crampt, cozy might be the best word to describe it.

 

"So now what?" Snowdream asked, snuggling in next to River. SHe didn't feel cold, but snuggling into River made her feel warmer.

They both rolled all over the igloo, making Snowdream's beanie hat fall off and her mane flushing out majestically. They kept making out for a while, River felt so good being with Snowdream, he never wanted this vacation to end.

"Well, I live in a house at the edge of Ponyville. It's kind of near this house that has a bunch of animals living in and around it. Fun to watch,"

"I heard that that house was abandoned. No one ever sees anypony going in or out." Mask said nonchalantly. The restaurant was surprisingly well heated for a blackout. It was probably magic. He looked round for a table, and found a booth he liked before noticing a seater pony at a podium. "Hello, welcome to the resort karaoke cafe." The mare said as Mask walked up, as if tired for some reason. "Will that be a table for two?" Mask replied with a simple nod, still peering around at the restaurant. Mask and Night Song followed the waiter to their seat, which was right in front of the stage. Mask smiled until the waiter left. "Shoot. I was hoping for a seat that was more out-of-the-way. I hope I don't get called on stage. I hate publicly declining offers." Mask said with a hint of sarcasm. "Can you sing, or is the song part just a name?"

 "Really? What was it before?" Mask asked, intrigued. A waiter aproched the table that the two were sitting at. "Hello, may I get you two something to drink?" He asked. He was remarkably more chipper than the first one they encountered. "Water'll be fine, thanks." Mask said quickly. "My name's always been Shining Mask. Mask making has been a bit of a family trait for a few generations now, so my parents thought it a safe bet to add Mask to my name. When I found out it was general disguise making, I decided 'mask' was close enough to 'disguise' so I kept the name." Mask explained. "Oh, by the way, I make disguises. Did I mention that?"

The waiter nodded and trotted away to the back of the building. "Ah. I was afraid that I was repeating myself. I basically make all my money around Nightmare Night. I'll get one or two jobs during the rest of the year, but for the most part, Nightmare Night is my only source of income. I get about 30,000 just on the week of the event. Seems like a lot, but that's almost all the money I get all year. What do you do? Is there some professional archery circuit?" Mask said. The waiter came back, set down the drinks, and quickly left.

"The training room sounds wonderful. It's been a while since I did any real training."

 

Blazing Storm looked at him and smiled. "So you do training to get your strength!" she responded. The amount of training he has done in the past must be enormous. I mean, look at these muscles! she thought while she looked at him. Blaze wanted to show him flying someday but the blizzard outside just continued. She would be crazy to fly out now, so she decided to do some activities with him within the resort.

 

 

"Well, if you'd like I can watch you fly for a while. I don't mind." He said wondering if the weather had cleared up since yesterday. "You sound like you need to get rid of some pent up energy."

 

"Thats right, but look outside. The blizzard isn´t gone yet. Just lets go to the training room together, perhaps i can find something there to release some energy..." she said smiling but with a sad glance not be able to fly outside. She pulled out some bits and layed them on the table for her food she ate and left the dining hall together with him. She looked at the signs to orientate within the resort, just to find the training after several minutes. As they arrived there she looked around to see what kind of training devices she could use and what activities the training hall had to offer.

Blazing Storm looked at him and smiled. "So you do training to get your strength!" she responded.

 The brown stallion stifled a chuckle art her remark, apparently his body and build had been a question lingering on her mind for a while. "It's a good training regiment that keeps me in shape. Well that and I do a lot of manual labor." He said looking towards her and the nearest window. It appeared the blizzard hadn't stopped and in the current state of things Blaze wouldn't be able to fly outside after all.

 

"Thats right, but look outside. The blizzard isn´t gone yet. Just lets go to the training room together, perhaps i can find something there to release some energy..." she said smiling but with a sad glance not be able to fly outside.

He chuckled and nodded hoping to get a good training session in, especially if it was with her. The two arrived at the training area and he could see her looking for something to get started on. "Here, come this way." He said guiding her to a few red mills and weights. "I know you love to work your wings, but how about your body and legs?" He asked knowing her body was very fit for a mare but he wasn't sure about her legs.

"Glad to hear" River replied. He knew he was getting better, and no it's official, he's good at it. Both of them kept lying inside the igloo for a little longer, just to relax. River turned his look at Snowdream.

 

"Hey Snowmi, I have an idea, let's play a game together" River suggested, "let's play... truth or dare! I go first, I pick dare" he said.

Storm blushed a little at her wink. Starshy's comment reminded him of just how long it had been since he had had a proper flight. He couldn't wait to get back in the sky. He only wished Starshy could join him. Wait a second..."You know, Starshy, I'm a pretty strong flier. I could probably carry another pony on my back. That is...if I found a pony who would want to do that."

"Okay, even better, I'll fly around the mountain screaming that" River agreed to the dare.

 

'Wow, she is bad with coming up with dares' he thought and left the igloo. River took flight, he circled the mountain one time to see if there's anyone around. There were a few ponies outside, but nothing too major.

 

"I LOST MY VOICE SOMEONE HELP ME FIND IT!" River shouted. All of the ponies below turned their look to him, they looked confused.

 

"ALSO MY MARE FRIEND HAS HORRIBLE DARES" he explained. He saw some ponies going "ohh". He came back over to Snowdream and landed next to her, she was outside the igloo.

 

"My turn now, Snowmi, I dare you to kiss me every time someone says the word 'now', and show them that we're kissing" he said.

"How did I know that you were going to come up with something like this!" Snowdream laughed throwing a snowball at him.

 

"But okay then, although i don't see anypony around anyway.." She said, glancing around seeing only white mountains, a few trees and the resort off in the distance.

" If you don't think I would be too heavy for you. It sounds like fun. I have the ability to use a leviating spell on myself, but it's just being able to float and not really fly per say. It's certainly not as fun, I can't go fast and it does not last very long. " Starshy explained as she leaned against Storm, enjoying being close to him. She could feel the touch of his fur against her own, the warmth that he provided and his weight. She could even faintly hear his heartbeat with her ear pressed against him.
