Nightfall blushed a bit.

"Well... Kind of... I mean to say, are the fish here really special? I've heard they are special fish- or was it different fish..? Whichever it is, I'd like to know. ... That is, if you'd be willing to come with me."

His blush got a bit worse.

Eve smiled. "Oh, the flying fish? Oh, yes, they love ponies swimming with them. Plus they eat muck and grime, so you'll emerge from the water squeaky clean." She giggled. "Come on, let me show you..." With a nod of her head, the maze shifted, allowing them a straight shot to the exit...

Eve smiled. "Oh, the flying fish? Oh, yes, they love ponies swimming with them. Plus they eat muck and grime, so you'll emerge from the water squeaky clean." She giggled. "Come on, let me show you..." With a nod of her head, the maze shifted, allowing them a straight shot to the exit...

"Oh! Um... Thanks."

He had blushed a bit, and the maze... Something about it. The way Evergreen had hit it, the way it shifted... It seemed alive on its own, and like it had been there and listening to them. He trotted out nervously and walked silently next to Evergreen.

"No, no it's fine. It's actually felt great actually..." Leaf said. "I was going to say I loved you, but I pretty much decided to go for it and kissed you." he explained while blushing. Leaf then sat down with her and hugged her. "What do you think of me? Do you really love me...?"

Silver was surprised at this but her answer came quickly, "More than I've loved anyone, I love you too Leaf, I know that now, I thought I was crazy before, but now I know." She leaned into his hug resting her head on his shoulder and kissed his cheek softly" She felt more at home in his arms then she would anywhere else

Goldseek was caught by surprise by when Diamond kissed him, but quickly put his hoofs around the beautiful mare, eyes closed. Everything about it was perfect. He didn't want it to ever end. How did he get so lucky? 'I think it's safe to say she feels the same as I do' He thought. 

Diamond leaned back and stared into Goldseek's eyes. "That was...I uh..." She blushed and hugged him tightly. "You're one of the nicest ponies I have ever met." She said, Nuzzling him and smiling. "I'm so glad I decided to go into the maze...I had a feeling I would get lost and part of me didn't want to go in but I am so happy I did."

When she let go, Dusk took her hooves in his "So...does this mean we both feel the same way?" he asked, half joking, half unsure. 

He had the biggest smile on his face now "nopony has ever made me feel this way before" he said looking down a little to the side..."but...I'm happy you did" 

"Yes. Yes it does," Star Rain replied. She felt a magic more powerful than her own when Dusk her hooves into his. Some heart-shaped flowers around them began to glow, as if they could sense this supernatural force. She smiled back at him and leaned against him, looking up at the moon in the sky. She then realized that the moon was Dusk's cutie mark. She turned her head toward him and asked him,"How come you have the moon as your mark?"

He felt his heart explode when Star leaned against him, and he wanted to just shout out to the world. He didn't however, for reason of ruining the moment and also scaring the plant life out of the garden. Instead he relaxed, and moved so Star could get comfy against him. When She asked about his cutie mark, he looked at his flank, then up at the moon in the sky. His eyes where no longer the magenta pools he normally had, but instead they where almost completely white, as if reflecting the moon itself. He looked back forward leaning his head to one side as he began to explain.

 

"I'm no unicorn...obviously, but I think there is a certain magic...adaptation...something, I don't know or understand, but there is something with me and the moon...we just...connect." he looked into Stars eyes, revealing his own to her for the first time. "Growing up, I was told the legend of the Mare in the moon, and every night I would spend it outside looking to see if I could see her, or anything on the moon. One night, there was a flash, and some of the rocks disappeared from the face of the moon itself." He looked into the sky, back at the moon again "I got my cutie mark when I discovered I had a talent for sneaking around places, such as outside at night, after I was supposed to be in bed. After that night with the flash though...that's when I was able to start doing 'this' " he said, as he rippled his coat through every colour he could, mainly dark purples and black. "Also, I always seem to get more energy during the night time, when the moon is in full view, I never seem to get tired or exhausted..." 

 

"That's pretty much it. I've been losing control over it recently though, it seems to becoming tied more to my emotions - as you saw at the start of tonight. And then there's Shadow..." He shivered at the name, and seemed to tense up a little. Looking her in the eye again, he asked Star - "What about you? How'd you get yours?"

Goldseek looked at the mare he had just kissed. "I'm glad I was in that maze too." He hugged the unicorn, wanting to never let go. "I love you." He realized what he just said and his blush grew even bigger. There they sat, under the moon. Goldseek couldn't be happier.

"That's pretty amazing, Dusk," Star Rain complimented. "Me? Well, to be honest, I got it in two ways and they happened simultaneously," she said, about to recall a memory from her fillyhood. "My mother was bossing me around like usual, nothing irregular there. Well except, at that time, I was falling out of frying pans into fires. Everypony showed no mercy when they were teasing me and somepony somehow got my highest grades removed and replaced with zeroes. I was sent to the office for that..." She went on to say,"I was calmly pouring all of my anger into my drawings, when then my mother noticed them and tore them apart!" Her eyes lost their glint for a second, then returned. "Something in me finally snapped. All of the anger that I had put into my drawings came back to me and turned into magic. My magic went nuts and drops of it fell like rain," she said, shivering a little from that past trauma. "That was when the star surrounded by the white dots appeared," she said, finishing her story.

"Actually, teleportation is really energy-spending for me. I hate teleporting to get around places," Star Rain replied. She felt comfy being held tight and close to Dusk. "Well, I can cast lots of water and light spells," she responded, spawning an orb of light in front of her that lit up the area around them. She laughed when Dusk pointed out the food, stepped out of their spot, made sure nopony was looking, and then she levitated the food over to her, along with the food she left. She walked over to Dusk and settled down again.

Leaf Orange, still hugging her, really enjoyed this party so far, he actually wanted to go around more locations of the garden. "How about we go to more locations together; whenever you feel like it..." he asked gently. Leaf then sat there, waiting for Silver to respond.

Dusk nuzzled her slightly when she returned with the food "you're the best" he winked, kissing her on the cheek. I can do that now...without feeling too weird about it...he thought to himself. He was still getting used to the whole thing, but he didn't want to not show her any affection after the first...but he didn't want to smother her, so he was playing safe. 

 

He took the food out of the air, lay down in the dark and started eating. It would be hard for anypony to see him where he was, where it not for the sound of the apple and lettuce crunching away in the corner.

Goldseek sat with Diamond, watching the stars. He used to have dreams of being in the stars. Everything beyond the skies... seemed so... real. Maybe he would be up there one day. "Maybe we should look around? See what else is in the garden?" He realized he had only been to the banquet and the maze.

"I would never send you away..." Leaf advised. He then pecked her and then flew up into the sky to see if there's a place they hadn't gone to yet. Once again, he flew up into the sky along with Silver and still blushing, they presumably got to the meadows in no time flat. He was thinking about Silver the whole time they were going to that location. Leaf couldn't wait to tell Firecracker when the party is over.

When they landed in the meadow, Silver saw all the flowers. She had never seen anything so amazing, she bent and smelled a flower. It's scent was almost intoxicating, she looked at Leaf and smiled. "Leaf, why did walk up to me? Why did you even consider talking to me?"

This was different to normal, he was feeling braver even before the moon was in full view - he looked back down at Star, who seemed to have a radiant glow about her as she ate her food. He finished his own, and slowly walked up to her, sitting down by her side, waiting for her to finish before he spoke.

Star Rain finished up her food and turned to face Dusk, who had just came up beside her. This is really amazing. I'm glad I ran away. I'm glad I found my father. I'm glad he had me come to this place when we got the letter. Her eyes shone with gratitude for her father, as it was him who had pretty much set these romantic events into motion.
