What are Luna's guards called an do they come in all species?

We've only seen Luna's guards a few times in the show an I've not been able to figure out their actual titles, if you google guards most of the time you get royal guards an adding Luna only sometimes helps, tho that gets you a picture or site of just princess Luna 70% of the time.

 

Also do you think there might be over races in her guards? Unicorn or earth?

I've only seen pegasus so far.

I don't think they have been named in the show. No canon to fall back on. Not sure if fandom has named them yet.

But they are cool. A 4th nocturnal species of pony that Hasbro has yet to capitalize on.

The most common fanon term I've heard is used is bat ponies/batponies/bat-ponies. Nothing canon yet, but that may change.

The show needs more Luna.

I was actually playing with the idea of having these ponies and a few ore regular erth/uni/pegasus ones into a fic about Luna implementing the so-called Night Guards, a group of Ponies with one member stationed in every important spot of Equestria, making sure night time is safe for everypony...that and her personal guard, whom I may call Major Moonbeam, probably being paired up

The best I've heard them called is the Lunar Guard to go along with the Solar Guard. But neither of those names are actually in the show. And we've yet to see them since Nightmare Night, so anyone's still completely free to make up anything at all about them without breaking canon.

 

It still would be good to have them show up once in a while when/if the ponies visit Canterlot to establish that yes indeed, these too guard the land. They don't even need lines or anything, they can just be there in the background like the gold-armored ponies.

I've seen one princess Luna pony so far, one of those bigger fashion dolls.

Very cute reminds me of her smaller form just after the mane 6 defeated nightmare moon.
