chatty and toxic both walked other to blaze and shock toxic then asked blaze are you a cuple? chatty thought they do look like a cute cuple but me and toxic look better together chatty then asked shock so are you and blaze a package or just friends? chatty then did not know what to say after that he just stood quietly so did toxic she was thinking did i get them together or what she just snuggled with chatty and they awaited a responce from the two

Minath was confused... and that didn't happen alot.

 

"Sure...?" Minath said to Rambler, and swam to the edge of the pool and got out. Minath wondered what Rambler was going to say.... but none of her hypotheses made sense.

 

Minath stood by the edge of the pool, waiting for Rambler to get out and lead the way

Rambler lead her to an isolated room and closed the door to make sure they would be alone. This was something that he didn't want anyone else interfering with.

 

"Alright, see I brought this with me because I thought I might meet somepony special, and, well, I met you. Where I come from it's tradition to give one of these to someone you're particularly close to."

 

He pulled an ornate hoof ring out of his pocket. (No it's not a marriage thing.)

 

"It's called a claddagh ring. It represents a lot of different things that the giver feels for the pony they give it to."

 

He pointed to the symbols on the ring one at a time.

 

"Friendship"

 

"Loyalty"

 

"And..."

 

As his hoof moved over the heart at the center of the ring, he felt his own heart beating much faster.

 

"Love"

 

Rambler held it out to her and only hoped she would take it and understand how much she meant to him.

Blaze giggle as she nuzzled up against Shock "I think we are. Besides don't we just look adorable together." Blaze smiled letting her cheeks turn a little red. She was very happy at this party not only did she get to see her friend Minath but she found her special somepony here as well. "He's really sweet and gentle and that's why I fell in love with him." Blaze shuffled her hoof on the ground waiting for Shock to respond to their question as well.

toxic looked at her and winked as if to say i am a great mach maker an't i she ten looked at chatty and smiled she then said we look better to gether though she chuckeled chatty agreed yes we do and i will not let nothing brake us up he said with pride chatty then tryed to find some other ponys to talk to he just wanted to make new friends toxic was happy talking to blaze so she stayed with them chatty is now sitting waiteing to speak with new ponys

Minath held out her hoof and put the ring on, still alittle conused on what it was. She'll have to do more research...

 

She stared at the ring, admiring the intricate design of the heart, hands and crown. It was really pretty and the meaning behind it was even lovelier.

 

Minath looked away from her new ring and at Rambler, and gave him a big hug. "Thank you. I love it." Minath said, smiling.

Rambler smiled and hugged her back, enjoying every second of their embrace.

 

"I'm so glad. I was afraid I might scare you away, that you might think I was moving too fast. I'm just happy you accepted it."

 

He nuzzled against her neck, feeling content to forever stay there with her.

Star was flying as fast as she could towards Minath's house. *I cant believe it...I am so late...I hope I haven't missed much.* She thought, landing just outside the front door. She brushed her mane out of her face and...after a moments hesitation, She tapped lightly on the door.

Minath ears pricked as someone knocked on the door. (Considering Minath is on the second floor and Star is on the first... no idea how she heard that.) "Somepony is at the door. I have to go get it, considering Blaze is nunning around here somewhere." Minath told Rambler, then trotted to the front door

 

Opening the door, Minath saw a half-pony-half-zebra mix, and that could only be Star Song!

 

"Hey Star! It's been too long! Better late than never, right?" Minath askd, laughing.

Rambler sighed as Minath broke off their embrace. Why did new guests have to keep arriving right in the middle of their perfect moments together?

 

He followed her to the door, where a half-pony half-zebra was standing.

As a new pony walked over her blush got worse and her ears flattened against her head. "H-Hi.I'm Star." She said, shyly to Rambler. *Remember what Diamond said. Socialize Star.* She thought. She opened her mouth as if she was about to speak but no words came out so she just closed it and blushed even more.

Blaze smiled as she talked with Toxic getting to know the mare who was responsible for getting her and Shock together. It was something special to be at this party. She had some good friends but she'd never really thought of having Canterlot friends afraid they were all snooty but this group proved her wrong. She nuzzled up against Shock "I'm really glad we're together Shock you are one sweet pony to be with." Blaze gave Shock a kiss on the cheek.

"Scaring the crum out of the guard, protecting Celestia and of course being socially awkward." Minath laughed. Of course all of it was true. The guard was quaking in its boots after various events Minath wasn't allowed to tell the public

 

"So how about you? What have you been up to lately?" Minath asked Star

Minath liked the way /star and Rambler were getting along. Star needed some friends in her life.

 

Minath went upstairs and into her study. Might as well get some work done while everypony's downstairs. She flipped open her material, some book about military stratagy, and began to read over the music, talking and laughing.

When Minath went upstairs, she left an awkward silence between Star and Rambler. Rambler tried his best to start a conversation.

Star nodded. "Um...Y-Yea...Ponyville. I play music for money...usually just busking, I also help around my roommates shop. She sell's tea." She said, watching Minath trot up the stairs. "Um...How about you ? Where are you from ?" She asked, looking away from the stairs and up at Rambler who was slightly taller than her.

"Oh, I travel a lot, but I grew up in Stallionshire. It's a small town on an island to the west. I doubt you've ever heard of it, but it's a nice place."

 

Rambler took a swig from his flask and, after thinking for a moment offered it to her.

 

"Would you care for a drink? It's an old family recipe." 

"I can almost guarantee that my dad has been there. Before he met my mum he traveled Everywhere." She, smiling. "And I mean...everywhere." 

 

"If it has alcohol...than I may have a very small glass. I am rather sensitize to alcoholic drinks." She said with a small chuckle.

"Oh, it definitely has alcohol. In fact it has quite a lot of alcohol. But it's really good, trust me. You have to at least try a little."

Nightfall walked inside to grab a drink and saw the new mare. He smiled at them, grabbing his drink, then slowly moving over towards them, keeping his distance from Rambler. He sat down some distance away, and noticed the guitar.

Star was still feeling a little unsure but she nodded. "I'll try a little bit but I don't want to get drunk...which usually ends up happening." She blushed. "Just a bit though...a bit." She blushed, and shuffled her hooves slightly. *I wonder where Minath ran off too.* She thought, glancing over at the stairs.
