I sketched my OC, Asquerade. I drew him with a pencil, on a sketchbook. It was a good sketchbook. I drew it in the center, took pictures of it with my Nintendo 3DS, emailed the photos to myself, and uploaded them to DeviantART using my laptop.

Thanks! I worked hard on it, and it took a few tries before I got it looking this good. I haven't been practicing art for long, but I think that if I get really good, I might be able to make a career out of it!

Not so bad. But you really need to practice. Practice regularly and you will be able to draw easily. You might want to be more free when you are drawing too. It is easier and looks better when you are not making a single hard line but lots of smooth ones and it will look better and it will become much easier. Feel free to reply if you didn't understand.

I'm just making a suggestion, feel free when you are drawing. Have it your way  ;)

Not bad for a beginner, You obviously need to excercise more and that's only logical that things doesn't go well in the begining but that doesn't mean to give up so easily also mayby a tip for next time...

Please try and upload them on here? It really annoys me to be honest and people will be less likely wanting to see your drawing

Looks pretty good I'd say, the only thing I can say is to just keep practicing! :D You'll obviously improve if you do so.

Specifically the only critique I can give is that I think the necks a bit long, I'm not that great artist, so I don't have much other that I can offer.

Good luck! and great job!

Sorry about how weird the first post sounded. Most of the artists I've seen usually have a part where they describe what they used, and how they made it.

I tried to do it, and... well... It sounded kinda forced and wooden, didn't it?

Thanks for all your kind words! I'll practice more, and hopefully some day, I can become a better artist.

Speaking as an amateur artist, I cannot advise much other than what I take into account. The more you practice the better it gets. Also, try looking at proportions. For instance, I draw the head first and then say the body should be maybe...twice the length of the head, etc.

Find a point to draw proportion from and just go with it. You'll be a pro in no time (if you can find the time to practice)

I think it is really good, i'm personally not the best artist. All I do is practice and with practice as everyone says, you will get better! Don't worry ;)

I'm thinking of trying to draw one of the Mane 6, probably an relatively-easier-to-draw pony like Fluttershy, but I'm not sure if I'm good enough yet.

I don't have a scanner or printer. How can I take better photographs of my drawings?

Sometimes, the one hundered minimum character limit really irritates me. However, I can understand why it is there, and why it is important.

DO NOT underestimate fluttershy as cute as she looks

Looks deceive you she is harder to draw as you can imagine since her eyes are diffrent from all other ponies also her hair is "special"

Well, alrighty then. In that case, if Fluttershy is really that hard to draw, then I shall draw somepony else.

Perhaps I should draw Twilight Sparkle? Her mane and tail look like they'll be easy-ish to draw. Any other pony-drawing recommendations?

I tried drawing Rarity on some scrap paper with a cheap blue pen, but it looked terrible. I got the tail all wrong, it looked awful! I threw it in the bin, because it was that bad.
