This lamp makes me want to go into the burning-metal smelling void of space to explore. Actually, it just makes me think of upper-class suburbs, cool pic anyway.

I have to agree that those lamps (and the hardly visible thingy from behind them) look damn freaking cool all right.

So I guess you're not too far off by calling it a spacelamp  Ahaha nice lamps though, wish my room had one like that, instead of a boring old white fluorescent tube =_="

It's a spacelamp, and the people in it are spaceHIPS.

Rather than being spacemen travelling in spaceSHIPS.

 

The lights at my house are rather boring, but wait till I take a cool picture of the ones at one of my campus' buildings.
