Harmonic Revelations 8,835 February 7, 2013 Share February 7, 2013 So my friend came over today. We were hanging out, and everything was so cool. Until I went to my iPod, and accidentaly played a song by the Spice Girls because I have a ton of Spice Girls songs, and he was laughing at me. He is okay with me being a brony, because he knows and everything, but the Spice Girls thing made him laugh so hard, and I'm extremely embarrassed. Wat do? Alex Kennedy 1,228 February 7, 2013 Share February 7, 2013 Admittedly, I would probably laugh in that situation, but mostly just because I find any mention of the Spice Girls to be amusing for some reason. I wouldn't worry about it, it's a pretty standard guilty pleasure and your friend will probably forget about it eventually. Either that, or if you ignore him making fun of you, he'll get bored of it pretty quickly. Real men don't need signatures... or legitimate usernames. Rainbow Dash 1,472 February 7, 2013 Share February 7, 2013 i'lll tell you what i want what i really really want...haha i'm sorryAs a 90's kid i pretty much listened to them growing up. In my defense i was forced to since i was the only boy in the family. You should just try to play it off. I had a similar experience. I was driving my friend and he happened upon it. i said hey i like spice girls. they were my life. in an ironic jokey way. try that. another thing you can do is spam them when your friend comes over or hangs out or whatever the deuce you two do. worked with my friends and Cannibal Corpse R.I.P. Viscra Maelstrom 3,718 February 7, 2013 Share February 7, 2013 i get the same kind of feeling when someone walks into my room, and bam, Justin Bieber's latest album echo in my room. i just try to shrug it off, though. music is music, and you shouldn't feel shame for liking something just because it's some group like the Spice Girls (i have albums from Madonna, Britney Spears, and 5IVE on physical copies here, so come at me bro). admittedly it's harder to brush it off in front of a friend, but i think the best way to go with it is to try and feel no shame over it. try to ignore that feeling. and see if it helps.
