Zanthak sees the apacboom trail and teleports to Zena. Luckily, it was night, so he used moonlight healing on her. Then he used a shield of invisibility to hide them. He teleported next to Strong Hooves.

Strong noticed Zanthak and Zena teleport next to him, he was waiting under the cover of the night, silently following the three ponies heading for the supply route, he saw Zena and gave a questioning glance, "Keep her close, but stay quiet, we need the Pegasi to think they lost us, don't attack until they get close to the route."

Veiling Zena again, he says to Strong Hooves "Got it." and starts to heal Zena with moonlight healing, because she wasn't fully healed before teleportation. After he is done healing her, he finds that she is asleep, so he puts her in her barracks on her bed and quietly slips out next to Strong Hooves again.

 

(BTW Strong hooves is a little big, do you think we could call you SH?)

As soon as Zanthak arrived, he nodded, "let's go" and took off in the direction of the supply route

Hail: not good...ok you stay with me rookie,the two of us should hault the infantry Maybe even send them retreating if we fond them as for the flyer targeting our brothers at the supply lines I need you to provide Back up until told otherwise!"

 

Wing pony 5: Roger that sir he wont fly after I'm done with him"

 

The pegasus pulled off and started to double back to where the other three had stationed themselves leaving hail and the recruit to scout for the infantry

Strong arrived at the route, using the cover of the night to hide him from the enemy, he stayed a while longer, then turned to Zanthak, "Keep quiet, we need to take out the scout first so they won alert the others, keep quiet and dispose of them quickly".

"Got it" Zanthak starts following but gets the message from Marty. He hands the radio to Strong.

 

Zanthak sends out a small team of shadow serpents to silence the scout. The snakes attack and he is muffled by them. Luckily, the snakes did not alert the others.

Strong takes the radio "Lt. Strong Hooves here, where is your curren position and estimated time of arrival?"

"Marty do not set camp, we needed you here yesterday" said Strong, he then turned to Zanthak, "take them out"

Zanthak quickly took out the rest of the spies with his shadow sniper.

Wing pony 4: " there's no sight of the infantry sir...maybe the the report Was wrong or they turned Back to aid against the air raids?

 

Hail: lets set down and radio HQ, find out where our ground forces are and if we can pull out soon."

 

Dropping down to a clear spot on the side of the mountain the rookie went to setting up a field radio. Growing steadily on edge,hailstorm paced around the clearing.

 

Wing pony 4: " HQ come In,thunder six two requesting eta of the ground forces in route to the hot zone

HQ do you copy over!"

"Good work soldier" said Strong Hooves, he then turned to the infantry attack squad as he said, "Okay, set up perimeter, make sure we surround the enemy. Lay low until you see the flare, then attack like your life depended on it... because it does. Zanthak, stay with me, Earth ponies, group with a mage, you will need their shield spell if you get caught"

"What else should I do Strong?" says Zanthak.

"As soon as the others are in position, fire the flare, I'll need a shield around us, and try to take out their main communications as well"

said Strong, preparing to attack.

"Yes sir." says Zanthak as he starts creating a massive ball of shadow to shield Strong and himself. He sends out a couple of shadows to destroy the tower of Celestia's communications, and then he sets up the flare and waits for the others to get into position.
