He sighed and laid down, suddenly tired and not caring about what he thought he heard in the distance. "This war... no matter what you say Snow... It has changed me... the blood of hundreds of ponies are on my conscience, there is no forgetting all the things I have done... Sometimes, I dream that I am drowning, in a river of blood... blood spilled by the ponies I have killed... I feel no better than just some monster... that I have lost who I was during this war..." he closed his eyes as a tear escaped him, the first tear in a long...long time...

Strong's ears perked up... he couldve sworn he had heard... something... Oh what now? why does something have to happen now?, he thought, he slowly stood up, "Did you just hear something?" he asked Snow, his mind was still grumbling about the fact that his moment with her was ruined...

"Your not a bad pony,you did what you had to not because you wanted to...for example. Solus's soldiers,I heard you could have had them all killed but you chose to let them go. Toothless chuckled while the two ponies introduced themselves. "Runedust huh? Well, we better get going then. Don't want HIM commanding the royal Solar Kingdom." He said with a wink to Swift.

 

He began spreading his wings, preparing to take off, but something was poking at him in the back of his mind. "Hailstorm?" He questioned the pegesus. "Just a shot in the dark here, but do you happen to know a pony by the name of Snow?"

Hail "snow..snowglitter? That's my younger sister...she vanished during a nlr raid on one of our outposts...why?"

Toothless's smile suddenly faded away when Hailstorm said the word "sister".

 

"S-sister?" Toothless was suddenly attacked with doubt, deciding if he really wanted to tell the truth about what became of her.

 

"I-I'm sorry... but... I have reason to believe that... your sister... is a traitor..."

Strong found comfort in Snows kiss and her words, wiping away the tear, he sat up, looking into her eyes, "Thank you Snow, and yes I do remember my promise" he then decided to take yet another chance, since now semed to be the best time, "Snow... I have a confession... I've always... had a... crush on you. Ever since we were little... I always thought it was just child love... that it would go away when I grew up... but it hasnt, I still have feelings for you Snow... thats why I told you I would always be there for you"... He blushed and looked to her as he waited for her reaction...

Strong hooves had yet again stunned her, snow had her suspicions but Even so she was unprepared to hear about his crush.nervous,snow started to blush once more.

 

"So..is this your way of asking a girl out? It's a bit strange to ask it during a war...hard to go on a real date...buuut yes,I myself have had a bit of a crush on you too.I was just to shy about asking if you had any special pony"

A scout approached runedust,warning him of a strange pony up in the mountain who could mostlikely spot the large movement of troops he commanded crossing into nlr territory,with a strange demented laugh as he grinned wider.

 

"Let them witness my God like might...the true power of celestias wrath will March into the heart of Luna's territory and squeeze the life out of every single one until every pony remembers who they are to serve...if they refuse then I have new test subjects,this goes for any pony,not just Luna's pions do you understand...March on"

Appearance: My coat and wings are a Summery Yellow, likening to a lemon curd. My mane always looks messy, but it takes a while to get this look down--a golden autumn brown that gradiates down to dark brown and almost black as it gets close to my withers. My tail's the same way, sort of like AJ's--and if I didn't keep it wrapped up with manebands, I wouldn't be able to walk.

Cutie Mark (if any): A black quarter note with the center hollowed and a rising sun in the background.

 

Personality:: He wakes up every morning smiling. He expects the best from everypony he meets. His...walk, the pace he keeps...it makes others go "Wow. What's he got, and where do I get it?" He defines friendship. If he isn't your friend, something's wrong with either him or he hasn't taken the right amount of time with you. The sky is his friend. He is inspired by flight. Many pieces he's written reflect...how the sky changes, watching from high altitudes when Celestia and Luna change the Moon and the Sun.

 

Sometimes he considers himself a therapist of sorts, but he'd never claim that title as it's not truly reflective of what he does. He'll take the time to sit down and talk to you about what's going on in your life, and do the best he can to understand and empathize with you. He will sit and cry with you, but ultimately end up laughing with you.

 

He does have a spot of a temper, but it's kept in good check by his gentle ways. He doesn't care if other ponies look at him when he just breaks into song. Mares, stallions, colts, fillies...he's got a gift and he's sharing it. Whether or not they accept it, he's still putting it out there.

 

 

Ever since the war began and he chose to serve Princess Luna and the New Lunar Republic, he has lost some of his initial vibrancy and accepting ways, due more to his training. There is a bitterness inside of him, now, as he received a notice that his family has been absorbed into the Solar Kingdom, effectively cutting him off from them. When he is not on official patrol or duty, he is often found writing letters that he hopes one day he will be able to send across enemy lines.

 

Biography: Back story: Sunrise initially started out in a suburb of Fillydelphia, on one of the many apple farms dotted about the Equestrian landscape. During his early days as a colt, he helped out with farm chores but never felt a calling for that humble of a work. The best distraction that had come up with while he was bucking apples and pulling up weeds was to sing to himself--simple melodies that helped break up the monotony of the labor.

 

His parents purchased instruments for all three of their children, Sunrise receiving a violin from the instrument forger Silver Hoof from Canterlot. He practiced as best he could, but it was apparent that he would not be able to realize his dreams of being a musician on the farm.

 

After Candy Wing's disappearance and supposed death, and the reception of his Cutie Mark, Sunny decided it was time to take flight and follow his dreams. He left the family farm, and flew to Ponyville, to take roots and continue his studies of music. On the way there, he encountered a few adventures:

 

"It was a rainy evening in some town between Fillydelphia and Maresburgh. She had the prettiest eyes...they cut through the dark of the restaurant like a beacon from a lighthouse. I don't remember her name...but we spent the entire evening talking. Life, love, Equestria, Luna's return, but mostly...music. She carried a flute, which I hadn't seen ever since my sister had played one. There was temptation...but I knew that I wasn't going to get satisfaction from a one-night fling. We stayed in separate rooms in the same hotel...but at 3 in the morning, I heard this crazy knocking on my door. I opened it, and it was her. She looked as if she'd been crying. I brought her in, and for two hours we played music. I have never felt closer to anypony else in my entire life. I just...remember those eyes. Was like looking into the sun. I nicknamed her Light Beacon."

 

Having lived in Ponyville for 10 years, he has become good acquaintances with all of the Mane 6, moreso with Applejack because of his occasional work at Sweet Apple Acres when he is short on funds while working between recording sessions and releasing new music. When Applejack defected with Fluttershy and Rarity, he did not even hesitate to join her as a brother-in-hooves for the greater glory of the Lunar Republic.

Okay...I'm confused, even though I just read the whole thread--I'd like to know who is playing what character and just a general snapshot of what's going on so I know where to interject myself, even though it'll likely be a megabig "Whoa--that's a lot of words" intro post as I consult with Fluttershy whom I would believe to be some high ranking official within the air support services, being the only pegasi captured from the Mane 6.

 

I'm going to throw a couple of monkey wrenches into everypony's thinking here, so bear with me a minute or two.

 

First, I don't seen anywhere enough moving by the now split Elements of Harmony--which makes a little bit of sense, as once the elements were separated, their efficacy would be minimal--as we saw in Return of Harmony, without all six, they're basically useless. Princesses Luna and Celestia had good reason for capturing/retaining the element bearers they did. It would be nice to see somepony on either one of the respective sides play at least one individual element holder every so often--would give us a good look into what's going on with how they are reacting to the war, and the fact that friends that they had thought they had made were no longer, and they were both physically and emotionally separated.

 

Second--look, I understand it's a war, but the level of outright hate I'm seeing from species to species borders on almost ludicrous. We all existed under Celestia's sun until Luna's return--how long has this dislike been fostering to make itself so rampant so quickly? Maybe I just need to flush out my headgear and get a new perspective on how much of an influence is being generated by both sides' leaders, although we both know that Luna is fresher and more able to have a greater pull on her followers than is Celestia after her millenia of dual work and next to no sleep.

 

Thirdly...I'm a bit of a forum newbie (not noob...making the distinction right now) and some of the jargon has me a little baffled, especially the term "ninja'd". I would try and discern its meaning, but I'd just as soon hear it from the mouth of somepony who knows.

 

Okay! Mini-rant over. Sunny will be ready to jump into the fray as soon as I get some of my homework done. College isn't easy, but it's necessary.

Summary:

 

 

Dragon Mountain, captured by Luna's forces, was attacked by the Solar Kingdom. However, many people were lost or captured in the battle, including Snow, Haste, and Drago. Meanwhile, Strong Hooves had a confrontation with Solus, friends once upon a time ago. Strong Hooves was holding a grudge with Solus, and wanted revenge. The two battle it out, but Solar reinforcements arrive, forcing Strong Hooves to retreat.

 

As Snow lies in the cell, she is interrogated by a Lunar soldier using torture methods, until Strong Hooves arrives and calls the soldier off. Strong Hooves then talks to Snow, a pony who he had a crush on before the war. He manages to have her give up the information, and despite being on opposite sides of the war, sets her free.

 

When Strong Hooves returns from where he set Snow free, he realized that the base was attacked by Toothless. Toothless had attacked the base to set free Haste, Snow, and Drago. But, as he arrived, Haste was gone, and so was Snow. Strong Hooves then confronts Toothless and fights with him. At the end of the battle, Toothless realized that Snow didn't simply break out. Strong Hooves had let him go.

 

Strong Hooves was crushed by the fact that Toothless knew Snow. So, he walked away from the situation, letting Toothless free Drago and escape the base.

 

Haste soon linked up with Drago and Toothless, and they made it safely to a Solar Kingdom outpost, one of the many guarding Celesta's borders. There, Toothless discovers that Zecora has joined the Lunar Republic, and that she is creating potions for them. Toothless then makes a note to pay a "visit" to her someday.

 

Strong Hooves, after letting Toothless, Drago and Haste go, makes his way back to Dragon Mountain. He then overhears some chatter that some Solar troops believe that Strong Hooves is only a rumor. A myth. Strong Hooves then proves them wrong as he confronts two of them, and sends them off with a message. The message was that Strong Hooves was indeed alive. And he was waiting.

 

News of the message traveled fast to Celesta, but also to the outpost where Toothless and the gang was staying. The commanding officer of the outpost then orders the entire troop to Dragon Mountain. He wasn't going to let some myth defile the mighty Solar Kingdom. However, as Toothless predicted, it was only a trap. The small troop was destroyed in a matter of minutes, leaving many dead or wounded. Solus, who arrived later during the battle, was also part of the death toll, as he contronted Strong Hooves, and lost.

 

Toothless begins to blame himself for the lost, as he froze up during the heat of battle. He flies off, ashamed that he did nothing to stop Solus's death. Haste and Drago, as well as Swiftgrace and Hail follow Toothless, and convince him that it wasn't his fault that Solus died. That his death was caused by his own actions, not from Toothless. Toothless accepts the answer, and begins to forgive himself.

 

However, Toothless asks Hail if he knew anyone by the name of "Snow." Hail responds that he is in fact the brother of Snow. Shocked, Toothless then tells Hail that Snow... could possibly be a traitor...

It would be nice to see somepony on either one of the respective sides play at least one individual element holder every so often--would give us a good look into what's going on with how they are reacting to the war, and the fact that friends that they had thought they had made were no longer, and they were both physically and emotionally separated.

 

Second--look, I understand it's a war, but the level of outright hate I'm seeing from species to species borders on almost ludicrous. We all existed under Celestia's sun until Luna's return--how long has this dislike been fostering to make itself so rampant so quickly? Maybe I just need to flush out my headgear and get a new perspective on how much of an influence is being generated by both sides' leaders, although we both know that Luna is fresher and more able to have a greater pull on her followers than is Celestia after her millenia of dual work and next to no sleep.

 

Thirdly...I'm a bit of a forum newbie (not noob...making the distinction right now) and some of the jargon has me a little baffled, especially the term "ninja'd". I would try and discern its meaning, but I'd just as soon hear it from the mouth of somepony who knows.

 

Okay! Mini-rant over. Sunny will be ready to jump into the fray as soon as I get some of my homework done. College isn't easy, but it's necessary.

 

(Ninja'd is used whenever someone posts something before you, like in an RP you're about to say something when someone says something before you and that's ninja'd, the best way to deal with them is to edit your post and see if it still makes sense, the elements took sides and Fluttershy is leader of the Lunar Aerial force, Rarity is for the Lunar Mages and Applejack is for the Lunar Infantry, the same goes to Pinkie Rainbow Dash and Twilight in the Solar kingdom, if you need any sort of help you can send me a Private message or use Parentheses for a Out Of Character message, Currently I'm taking control of Both of my OC's Celestia, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie and Twilight, Toothless volunteered to take over Luna, Applejack Fluttershy and Rarity, however we can always use some help if anyone else wants to volunteer) Edited February 10, 2012 by Pinkazoid
