Aah, Nixium. So we meet again.

 

This sounds like an excellently planned RP, and one that I would love to participate in. My character is below.

And so we do... ^^

I must admit, your character is rather perfect for the storyline. How could I say no? Welcome!

 

Well in that case, I have no problem being both Hex and Whisper Woods. I'm used to being as many as 6 at one time :P

That is quite a lot. Well, if you weren't overwhelemed then, surely you won't be now! I'll just keep them both on the list for future reference. XD

I've always wanted to see how Addem would work in a post-apocalyptic world. His only issue would be food, but that's a huge one.

Yeah, food is a big, deciding factor O_O Hehehe ^^

Anyways. Yes, I looked at the bio and I started smiling. It works so well with the plotline! :D

I have another question, The sort of Apocaplyse is the Ending on the World, Correct? Or is it perhaps, Zombie Apocaplyse or other?

Also to say, BlackShardNixium, Looks like this topic is Red Hot :D

More of an Apocalypse with a Purpose. Since the RP is basically two ponies reading our story, it's supposed to teach a lesson. Like a twisted version of all Twilight Sparkle's lessons.

Silvia states that the Apocalypse was "A wrath reaped of what we had been sowing for far too long..." And that she hoped any survivor out there would not make the same mistake.

Really, the Apocalypse was started because of the New Science (which will become more detailed as this roleplay progresses..)

Hey with this new science thing I think I can help. Since my character uses rubies to amplify his spells maybe he is at the science convention introducing new ruby enhanced technology. Obviously it will go haywire and I think the effect it should make is an eternal drought that way crops can't grow again (under normal conditions).

Hah, Hex is searching for a way to use magic even though she is a pegasus. She isn't really a scientist but she has travelled all over to find a way. I suppose that includes scientific ways as well. Well I guess that's it.

That is true. We could make our characters work together then. Or if there are too many scientists I can become a non-scientist

Well, Addem's method is that he can manipulate the flow of magical energy (and store it) using certain kinds of gemstones. He has a pair of glasses that can hold a small amount of energy, making it possible, though very hard and with limited effect, to use magic.

okay thats much different than what I thought. My character shoots his normally weak magic into a normal or "empty" ruby, then the ruby amplifies that magic. He will probably think about harnessing that energy to be stored in ruby powered machines. While I see your character is finding and using already magical gems for power.

 

please do correct me if I'm wrong about your magic gems but I think that's a great idea nonetheless.

Hmm.. you two could be on to something...

I propse that the New Science is based off of the research of both Royal Bauble and Addem. The information could either get stolen illegally and submitted to the Canterlot Science Society, or they willingly submit it themselves.....

i like that idea, but i think they should formally present it. OR only one of them presents it out of a thirst for fame and he will be blamed for the Apocalypse. Or if they both present they both will be blamed.

 

Also I think we should start the RP with the OP or whomever wrote THE BOOK talking about that time period and/or the person posting is writing their own chapter of THE BOOK.
